It is a centrally located ground floor property which sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms - 1, 5ft king with basin and 1 twin with 3ft beds and cot, 1 bathroom with shower over the bath. It is ideally located 2 minutes from the top of the Town Steps, the property benefits from having a secure garden, a large sitting room and a kitchen with dining table that can sit 8. Linen and towels are provided . Please note there is a surcharge of £20 if you wish to bring pets. There is also a surcharge of £20 if just 2 people stay but use both bedrooms (to cover extra laundry and cleaning costs) .

Seahorse Studio is a one bedroom, accessible ground-floor holiday apartment designed with fantastic taste and functionality - super bright and extremely comfortable. Although only a studio, it feels spacious and elegant and is perfect for a couple or individual looking for a short stay or holiday in the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh. The Studio is located just a street away from the beach and is a short stroll to the main high street.
The open-plan studio space has a lovely dining area, a sideboard with crockery and cutlery, a large smart TV and a cosy sofa as well as a very comfortable electric reclining chair and side tables.
A plywood room divider creates a cosy sleeping area with a lovely king-size electric bed, with wonderful white crisp bedding and a superb mattress. The bed can be made up of two singles or a king, provided this is requested at the time of booking.
The studio has wonderful lined linen curtains for comfort and privacy and there is plenty of clever lighting in the space as well as ample plug sockets with USB chargers. The space is heated by radio-controlled integrated infrared heating panels,

- "Lovely for our requirements over a hot weekend. " - "Overall, this is a nicely decorated, clean and well presented cottage. Aldeburgh is a lovely town and highly recommended for a holiday. The location of the cottage is good with shops nearby and the town is around 15 minutes walk.away. Parking on the street was generally available but not always in front of the house. We found 2 of the restaurants recommended in the handbook were particularly good: the Regatta and the Lighthouse. The property has good wifi, TV and DVD player. Beds and bedding are very comfortable. Kitchen is clean and reasonably well equipped. We enjoyed our stay but have a few niggles which if rectified would improve the appeal of the property: 1. The sofa bed was too hard and uncomfortable to be usable as a sofa. Fortunately the other 2-seater was fine. 2. The book and DVD collection is dated and not up to standard. 3. The property is lacking a washing machine, an essential in a self catering cottage. 4. The rear garden is unkempt and the "lawn" is mostly comprised of weeds. It has a couple of benches but a table and chairs outside would be nice. 5. Out of date spice jars and instant coffee were found in the kitchen cabinet. The coffee was solidified and should have been thrown out long ago. 6. The toilet seat is loose and needs attention, but bathroom shower etc were fine otherwise. 7. No welcome pack - a starter pack of basics is generally provided in many rental cottages. Overall we found Walnut Cottage reasonable value for money in high season."

Please note the large terrace can be slippery when it’s icy and wet - so please be careful and wear sensible shoes.
- Please be aware that we do allow children from the age of 6 but because of the steep staircase, it is your responsibility to control your children.

- The picnic table is heavy, so please don’t drag it around the decking.
- Our unique beach seat is a Strandkorb - popular all along the Dutch and German North Sea coasts.
Please be aware that Sealoft is closely linked to adjoining houses where our friends and neighbours live so please enjoy and respect the shared space and avoid noisy revelries.
The boot box by the door is there to store muddy shoes and boots, so please be careful not to tread dirt through the house
Blankets are on the bench by the dining table in the corner. Please bring them inside and return them when you’re finished on the decking.
Please be careful with the bathroom door handle and the shower screen to make sure they don’t knock into one another when open.

FIRST FLOOR
You’re welcomed into the clean and fresh living/dining room with a spiral staircase rising to the first-floor suite and doors to the kitchen and an inner lobby. Two of the bedrooms and the bathroom are off the lobby, giving an extra degree of privacy.
The living space is cleverly designed so you have everything you need for self-catering - a couple of sofas, a rocking chair, coffee table, a clothes rack for your coats and footwear, and a neat space saving folding table with four dining chairs and an additional chair and bench so you can enjoy a take-away at home or cater for yourselves. The smart TV has Netflix, and Amazon for use with your own account and there's a Bluetooth speaker for you to pair with your own devices to enjoy your playlists.
KITCHEN
Light floods into this well-designed kitchen through the skylight. Built in units wrap around two sides housing an under counter fridge with an ice box, an electric oven, an induction hob with extractor above, a slimline dishwasher, a microwave, and free standing filter coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There’s a washing machine (no dryer but there’s an airer) in a separate cupboard in the living room, with an additional under counter fridge with small ice compartment.
DOUBLE BEDROOM
Enjoy a good night’s sleep in the sturdy king size bed which sits between bedside drawers. There’s additional storage in a wardrobe and a chest of drawers so you can unpack and settle in.
TRIPLE BUNK BEDROOM
The double bunk has a double bed on the bottom (making it suitable for two adults) and a single above, under the skylight with blackout blind. There’s storage in a generous wardrobe with a shelf and hanging space and a bedside unit.
BATHROOM
A modern bathroom with both handheld and rain shower heads over the bath and a shower screen, wash basin with storage beneath, WC and heated towel rail (towels are provided).
SECOND FLOOR SUITE
Perched quietly at the top of the apartment, up a spiral staircase with handrails on either side, is a lovely large suite with it’s own door for privacy and an emergency exit to the communal staircase. A super king size bed takes pride of place between bedside drawers and there’s ample storage in a low wardrobe, a hanging rail, and a chest of drawers. You can see the sea from the window and a dressing table and stool have been positioned beneath it so you get the best light for doing your make-up and hair – ready for it to be blown by the sea breezes! There’s also a chaise inviting you to relax with a good book.
EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM
This chic shower room with corner cubicle has a hand held shower, there’s a wash basin in a vanity unit, a WC and heated towel rail.
OUTSIDE
Coasters is accessed by a wide covered external staircase rising from the car park to the first-floor passageway, which takes you to the front door of the apartment and on to the neighbouring apartment. If you fancy a sun-downer in the sea air you’ll find four chairs and a coffee table positioned on the balcony.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the building.
Whilst there is actually sleeping accommodation for seven guests the apartment is marketed for six due to the size of the living area and kitchen but the double at the bottom of the bunk does make it suitable for a couple.

A tastefully modernised fisherman’s cottage tucked quietly away from the high street on West Lane, very convenient for the pebble beach and independent shops and eateries. Interiors have a lovely coastal feel with the living room, kitchen/breakfast room and bathroom on the ground floor; double and twin bedrooms on the first floor; and a small courtyard style area at the back.
You’re welcomed into the cosy living room, furnished with a sofa, chairs, occasional tables, an ornamental fireplace, and a TV sitting on the corner unit, inviting you to relax and enjoy a well-loved movie.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM
Ideal for preparing meals at home with its electric oven and four ring hob, microwave, toaster kettle, under counter fridge with ice compartment, and a slimline dishwasher. There’s a glass table in the corner with four folding chairs so you can eat at home and, if you don’t feel the urge to cook, you’ll find plenty of take-aways to choose from.
A couple of steps take you up to the inner hall where there’s a washer/dryer and hooks for you leave coats and beach gear. Doors open to the courtyard and the bathroom.
BATHROOM
This light modern bathroom has a hand-held shower over the bath and a shower curtain, a WC, wash basin, heated towel rail (towels will be provided for all guests.

Steep stairs with a sisal carpet and handrail to steady you, rise to the first-floor landing.

This pretty little bedroom has a sturdy single bed and a trundle bed if needed. There’s hanging space in the cupboard, shelves, and a long dressing table with drawers which can double up as a desk if you need to do some studying or work.
OUTSIDE
Stones Throw is a mid-terraced cottage tucked away on West Lane which runs from the high street, up steep stairs to The Terrace where you can generally find roadside parking with no restrictions. The paved courtyard area is fully enclosed and has a gate and steps up to The Terrace too. If you want to sit outside you’ll find a little table and are welcome to take the folding chairs out from the kitchen
“Thank you for a lovely relaxing week in your delightful cottage. The location is fantastic, and we’ve made good use of the Two Magpies Bakery, Smoke House, and Fish and Chip Shop on our doorstep, to name just a few amenities we enjoyed!
I was working part time whilst here and the second bedroom made a great office. Highly recommend buying fresh fish from one of the huts on the beach – we enjoyed several fresh fish dinners. Also Aldeburgh cinema was great!”

A beautifully presented one-bedroom ground-floor apartment with its own front door entrance, which is superbly located on Aldeburgh High Street.
The property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and features wooden floors, a sitting room with a dining area, a bespoke-fitted traditional kitchen, a Bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite shower room, and a separate WC. The sofa in the sitting room is a sofa bed and is suitable for an extra person. Also high-speed Wi-Fi (BT). Large tv in the reception room and a small wall-mounted smart TV in the bedroom.
PARKING: There is a parking bay available directly outside the property (NB 2-hour stay) but free parking is available nearby on The Terrace and the entire elevated area (The Terrace area is accessed from The Town Steps – about 2 mins from the property). Beachcomber is a lovely, two-bedroom cottage located in the heart of the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh, just a few steps away from the beautiful shingle beach, perfect for a short break or holiday for a couple or a small family. This wonderful period holiday home sleeps two adults with a bunk bed room for two children and is located towards the end of the high street with easy access to a wide range of fantastic boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as Aldeburgh's famous fish and chips.
The property is furnished to a high standard and welcomes you into a fantastic open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. This bright, well-equipped space has a sofa, armchair and a smart TV, leading through to the kitchen with a dining table and chairs, oven, gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and sink, perfect for enjoying a meal in. There is a downstairs shower room with a wash basin, shower cubicle and WC.
Upstairs there is a comfortable main bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables and plenty of storage space for clothes with a chest of drawers and wardrobe. There is a smaller second bedroom with bunk beds for children and a bedside table.
Outside there is a small patio space and table and chairs for 2 people.
