River view is a 1 bed self catering first floor holiday apartment in Horning , 10 mins from Wroxham, yards from the rivers edge on the Norfolk Broads. The village has shops and cafes, 3 pubs and several restaurants.The views from the living room are panoramic ,great for watching the boats going by .There is boat hire near by and plenty of places to fish.Norwich is 11 miles away and the beach is 10 miles , there’s beautiful Blickling Hall ,Hoveton Gardens to visit .The New inn is 50 yds away. Parking is restricted outside the flat it’s ok for unloading your car. There’s plenty of free parking Around the village we usually recommend the village hall as it’s free and the steps to it are opposite the flat . We allow one small dog. There is a key safe by the front door, we will give you the key code 48 hours before your stay thanks Dawn.

There is a village shop, café/tea room, ice cream parlour and sea food restaurant. Boat hire is available nearby, which makes for an excellent way to explore the beauty of the Broads. Alternatively, hire a bike, and discover the pretty villages that surround. A 10 minutes’ drive will take you into Wroxham, the ’Capital of the Broads’, with its riverside cafés, restaurants, shops, mini model village and train station.

From here you can jump on the Bure Valley Steam Railway, with the train stopping at mid station within the pretty waterside village of Coltishall, where you can jump on and off, or continue onto to the popular market town of Aylsham. Fishing is available along riverside in village, seasonal and with licence required. Excellent sandy beaches within 30 minutes drive. Wide sandy beaches backed by dunes at Sea Palling. Traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth offers activities for every age.

Alternatively, spend a day exploring the city of Norwich, a shoppers delight. Close by is a playing field, complete with children’s amenities. Beach 12 miles.

The kitchen is very well equipped, so it is ideal for a self-catering holiday. There is an electric oven, four-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, combination washing made & tumble dryer, kettle and toaster. An ironing board, iron and hairdryer are also provided.

We are also happy to provide family-friendly items free of charge including a travel cot, linen, high chair, changing mat and toys. Please just mention this requirement when booking.

The private roof terrace with coal BBQ and table & chairs makes for a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening whilst the sun sets.

Private off road parking for one car is available immediately in front of the metal staircase to the rear of The Galley.

Guest access
The apartment is a private space that is not shared with anyone else. It has its own private front door and is accessed via a set of wide metal exterior steps that no-one else will use throughout the duration of your stay. The roof terrace is also exclusively for your use. You will also be allocated a private car parking space behind The Galley (immediately in front of the metal stairs).

Please note that the deli does have food deliveries most days, but the drivers are very considerate and make minimal noise.
