The apartment is in a hilly location and no shops directly close by, so a car is required. Marbella is about 15 minutes drive and San Pedro de Alcateraz is only 2km away. The apartment has 2 terraces. We used mainly the one connected to the lounge. It benefits from the morning sun and is lovely all day round with views of the sea in the distance. There is a nice breeze mostvof the time, which meant we hardly used the aircon as we opened the windows and doors. The bedrooms were comfortable with bedient mattresses and all have aircon. The swimming pool is lovely, however separate from the apartment at a 1 minute walk. Access is via a gate. The pool is beautiful and large enough to never feel too crowded. It's about 20m x 8m so a really good size with stunning surroundings and trees, shrubs etc. and.its all very nicely kept and gardeners were busy tidying and cleaning on a daily basis. We would definitely stay in this apartment again. Only thing we'd change is the roof top terrace and make that homelier and fit an outdoor kitchen, add plants (on both terraces), and put a blind outside the master bathroom window as the bathroom gets very warm from the sun. The table on the roof top terrace could also do with replacing as the table top was losing its lamination. Other than that we've had an amazing, wonderful stay in this apartment in a great part of the Costa del Sol and would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely apartment."

Location: The apartment is very conveniently situated a few kilometres up the main road to Ronda from the coast. It is one of the largest apartments in the Las Jacarandas complex and is located on the first floor (of 3) in a front line golf position with views of the golf course and surrounding hills. The apartment enjoys a large communal swimming pool (situated right behind) and childrens' pool and a few minutes away at the club are golf, tennis, paddle tennis, squash, sauna and gym facilities, together with an excellent bar and restaurant with great views to the coast. San Pedro is the nearest town with a local supermarket, and Puerto Banus has a huge hypermarket 'El Corte Ingles' where you can buy anything you desire!

Attractions: San Pedro, a quiet Spanish resort, is the nearest beach and shopping centre. Puerto Banus is just a few more minutes away (about 10) with its numerous bars, restaurants, marina, beaches and sophisticated night life. Marbella itself is about 20 minutes away and you can take a slow drive through the mountains to Ronda in about an hour. Some of the best restaurants along the Costa are in Benahavis (a gourmet town), which is situated in the neighbouring hills and is a picturesque 25 minutes from Los Arqueros. The historical cities of Seville, Granada and Cordoba are all within a few hours drive.

Getting there: The apartment is very conveniently located about 40 minutes from Malaga airport off the main Ronda road. It is an easy drive along the new 'autopista del sol' (for a small toll) and then a very short climb into the hills above Marbella. A secure underground car park, with remote garage entrance is provided. A car is essential, unless, of course, you just want to soak up the sun!

- "We had an excellent week at the condo @ Los Arqueros Estates - Las Jacarandas building. The unit is spacious, tidy & very comfortable for 4 adults (although sleeps 6). If you enjoy antique furniture, this is your place. Our favourite aspect of the space is the outdoor terrace which includes three seating areas, lounging chairs, eating area, & coffee table section. We enjoyed breakfast, coffee & beverages on the terrace daily. For plant lover the terrace includes a good selection of mini palms(?) & flowering plants. A very short walk from the unit is a large & very well kept community swimming pool. We loved our daily visits to the pool & seating area. Also, the owner of the unit was highly responsive to all our questions & requests."

San Pedro is also a mere 5 minutes from the property and Marbella 10-15 minutes away. Each quaint in their own right and all offering the authentic traditional Spain. SWIMMING POOLS
There are 2 separate pool areas on Las Jacarandas. One is accessed at ground level outside the block in which this apartment is situated, and is visable from the solarium of this property. The other, offers a larger pool with the addition of a children’s pool. This is accessed through a gate on the other side of the complex.

GETTING THERE:-

Malaga airport and Gibraltar airport are approximately equidistant from the property. Both 45-60 minutes away depending on your route. Los Arqueros is accessed just off the toll road “autopista Del sol” (AP-7) which can be used for a small fee. This road has less people on it and can also be quicker, especially during the busy months. It is also possible to take the coastal road, which follows the coastline for the majority of it from the Malaga airport; this road spans the Costa Del Sol (A-7) and will take you anywhere along the coast within this area!

Taxis are easy to order, and generally don’t take too long. The operator speaks some English, enough to order a taxi to our development if you require.

However, we really do recommended a car, so you can explore the surrounding areas of Benhavis, San Pedro, Marbella and further afield; unless you wish to just soak up the sun that is!

GOLF

Our apartment over looks the 7th Tee on Los Arqueros Golf Course.

Within a 5-10 minute drive there are many many golf courses; La Quinta being only a few minutes drive. There is also Los Naranos, Magna Marbella, Aloha, Atalaya, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina to name a few.

A little further, (15-20 minutes) you have Santa Clara, Marbella Golf, Cabopino and about 30-40 minutes away is Valderrama.

SUPERMARKETS & RESTAURANTS

Supercor is a 2 minute drive, situated on the opposite side of the Ronda Road. This is a small supermarket, offering all the essentials.

Mercadona is a 5 minute drive, situated in San Pedro. This is more appropriate for those wishing to eat in, buy more for their stay.

There are lots of restaurants in the surrounding areas; if you need help, please ask us for recommendations.

SURROUNDING AREA

During certain months, different villages hold a festival, known as a Spanish feria, they are a fantastic experience for both adults and children. They often have stalls selling local food, drinks, clothing and trinkets; and some also have entertainment, such as singers & spanish dancers.

Benahavis, known for its Gastronomy, is home to some amazing restaurants, beautiful white washed streets, cafes and quaint bars (only 10 minutes drive away - accessible if you drive to the other exit/entrance on Los Arqueros, past the club House).

Marbella - offers a beautiful walk along the front, known as the paseo. It’s possible to walk from Marbella all the way to San Pedro. Along the way, you will find many restaurants, bars, cafes, beaches, clubs and shops. Orange Square is particularly nice for an evening meal; especially during the warmer months when you can sit outside.

San Pedro, is a 5 minute drive from the property. It’s typically Spanish, where you will find many local bars, restaurants, shops and cafes.

Gibraltar, “known as the rock” is a 45 minute drive from the property. If you wish to explore the history behind some UK territory, there are many tours to choose from; dolphin watching boat trips, exploring the World War II tunnels, Gorham’s & St Michael’s cave, visit the macaques (monkeys) on top of the rock (the original inhabitants of Gibraltar!), ride the cablecar, bird watching & many more.

Ronda is also a lovely historical mountaintop village, offering jaw dropping views from a stone bridge spanning the gorge. It is famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and views.

Malaga itself is well worth a visit. Loaded with history and brimming with things to do, it’s a spectacular place to explore. With art galleries, a port, shops and food, as well as a Roman amphitheatre, a Moorish fortress and a Pompidou centre, it’s clear you’ll never be bored!

Seville, Granada and Córdoba, are all easily reached from the apartment within a couple of hours.

The province of Andalusia really does have it all; sun, sea, sand, food, drink, beauty and history!

10 minutes from Marbella, near the village of Benahavis, the port of Puerto Banus and 4 km from the nearest beach, the apartment is in the heart of the private domain of the 'Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club.' This area guarded day and night, is composed of several residential apartments and private houses, winding around the course in a lush environment, well maintained and very quiet.
The apartment is located on the 2nd and last floor of a small residence, El Lago ', very close to the club house (7 min walk). For your pleasure, the south-facing lounge terrace offers magnificent views of the golf course (holes 16 and 17) on one of the pools of the residence and the mountains surrounding the area .From solarium on the roof You can enjoy a sea view.
The accommodation comprises 6 beds, its surface is approximately 100m and includes:
• a bedroom (double bed) with its own bathroom and fitted wardrobes and overlooking a small private balcony;
• double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, overlooking the terrace;

I gave check-in and communication each a 4-Star rating because the suite was not ready at the agreed check-in time of 4:30 PM. Neither the property manager nor the host were aware of our arrival that day or time even though we had received confirmation of same the day before from VRBO. The suite was available some hours later after the cleaning staff had been summoned by the host to clean the unit. When we returned from dinner in Malaga with friends at 11:30 pm, the suite was ready and in perfect order. After that frustrating glitch our stay in the suite went without further incident and we enjoyed ourselves from then on. As per Title above, the suite is top notch and you can't go wrong staying here. Just call ahead to the Property Manager to confirm your date of arrival at least a day or two beforehand to ensure a worry and hassle free check-in."

4. Our check-in and check-out times are subject to availability. The check-in time starts at 17:00h and ends at 20:00h. If you wish to check-in later, please request a late personal check-in. Additional fee of €25,00 is applicable.

6. For this accommodation the guest needs to pay a security deposit of €1000,00.

8. Because of the water shortage in Andalucia, it is not allowed to refill swimming pools. For this reason, they might be forced to close the pools. Sorry for the inconvenience.

TEMPORARY: A general nighttime reduction in water pressure is to be implemented across the western Costa del Sol from 21 February to comply with a reduced limit of 160 litres per inhabitant per day as set by the regional drought committee. The cuts, which will be in place from midnight until 6am - with the exception of Saturdays. The regulation issued by the Junta de Andalucía also enables the imposition of penalties on those users who consume excessively, irresponsibly and unscrupulously, given the shortage situation. This beautiful 3 bedroom apartment features panoramic sea views from it's large south facing terrace, stylish and comfortable furnishings throughout, A/C in all rooms, underground parking, large communal swimming pool, and is located less than 2 minutes from the Los Arqueros Golf Course. Situated in the Los Olivos community, the property enjoys a relaxed and calm environment, while being conveniently close to the excitement of Puerto Banús, the beach and amenities!

The space
The south facing property is located on the first floor of the Los Olivos community in Los Arqueros. Through the front door of the apartment, guests will find the doorway to the kitchen and the corridor to the bedrooms on the right, and the living/dining room, with the windows onto the terrace, located in front.

Due to the orientation of the apartment and the large windows to the terrace, the living/dining room is flooded with an abundance of natural light. The room is spacious and features modern and comfortable furniture. Along with having strong wifi connection throughout the property (200mbps), the living room TV is also equipped with an IPTV system (international channels). From the living room it is possible to access the terrace, which not only enjoys incredible views of the Mediterranean, but is also well furnished with al-fresco dining table and chairs, and several quality sun loungers. A coal BBQ is also provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances and utensils expected of a quality holiday property, this includes; fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 3 is the first room on the left following the corridor after the kitchen. It is a large room, offering a single bed with sea views. The next room is the master bedroom (Bedroom 1). This room offers a queen sized bed, also has sea views, and has an ensuite bathroom with bath/shower. The final room is Bedroom 2. This room shares a bathroom (with shower) located in the corridor with Bedroom 3. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and enjoys mountain views from its north facing window.

Rental of the property includes one underground parking space located underneath the apartment block. The Los Olivos community is fully gated and has 2 swimming pools (1 for adults and 1 for children) (Seasonal availability).

The Los Arqueros golf club, located 5 minutes walk away, offers a number of additional services other than golf. There are several restaurants, a bowling alley, hair dressers, and top of the range gym.
