Ofcourse we felt lucky and we enjoyed our stay. Especially because it was way outside of our budget limit. The pueblo is very quiet, but there are other pueblos nearby where you can have fun with the native folks of Malaga. The rooms at The Westin la Quinta were adjust to a nice cool temperature suited for healthy night rest. And my apologies for my son who took a shower in the bad instead of in the shower. We had to dry up the floor with clean towels from all the water. Conclusion, way out of our budget, but definitely worth the price. "

Our host, Inga, was really amazing. We had a very late check-in, which she accomodated with style, with a welcome drink and even a life saving meal. She made us feel so welcome and provided special warm bedding once she realized the spring temperatures were a little cool for us (visiting from the Gulf region). This boutique hotel is truly fantastic with large stylishly-appointed rooms, each with exceptional elevated sea views. Inga also shared some good tips about what to see and do in the area. The villa is located on the exclsuive and gated Monte Mayor estate and is located within a fifteen to twenty minute drive of all local amenities (beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, golf, tennis and kids activities etc).
The villa offers the perfect combination of being close to the action and yet far from the madding crowds of package tourists. Prepare to be amazed by the sheer beauty of the location and the privacy and quietness this ensures!
The villa's ground floor features an open plan very large, double height reception room. There is a 55 inch flat screen QD television with IPTV TV system including Sky and TNT Sports, Netflix, Amazon etc, ipod/iphone speaker dock. Guest Cloakroom. Dining area seating ten. The elegant, black tiled pool is the perfect size - 10 x 5 metres and has a uniform depth of 1.6m to maximise useability. With a salt, not chlorine, based system, the pool is also much more comfortable to swim and lounge in - you'll love the difference! Sun loungers and beach towels are provided.
Apart from splashing about in the pool, there are plenty of activities for the kids along the coast - including water parks, the nearby Selwoo safari park, Fuengirola zoo and the opportunity to take golf, horse riding and tennis lessons locally.

With the ideal climate for all year round golf, the area is the perfect destination for both golfing couples and groups. In recent years the following courses have hosted major professional tournaments, all within 45 minutes drive from the villa: Aloha, Finca Cortesin, La Quinta, Los Flamingos, San Roque and of course Valderrama, the spiritual home of Europe’s Ryder Cup resurgence.
- "This property was perfect for our recent family holiday - 7 adults and 3 children. The villa is huge with plenty of room to relax inside and outside and allow everyone to have a little space if they needed it. The house was in great condition, very well looked after and fully stocked with everything you'd need. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for a big group, which is ideal if you're eating in. Having 2 fridges in the kitchen really helps with a large group too. The lounge area was lovely, very relaxing and room for the whole family to sit down. Having the UK satellite channels was a godsend for the children too! Bedrooms all had ensuites and we were offered flexible set up of the beds with twins vs doubles in all rooms. The outside space was perfect - plenty of shade during the hottest part of the day in the patio area and under the huge parasol - and plenty of space to run around and play games outside too. In the pool storage room we found a great variety of toys and games - loads of ping pong balls and bats too, for the table. Pool was great and a good size for our group. As others have said, the drive is pretty steep and you do have to be careful with the timings of driving up/down and the gate automatically closing. We had 2 cars and there is just enough room to drive down and manoeuver around, to avoid reversing down if needed. The views are absolutely incredible from the house, and there's a little seating platform just down from the pool area which was a lovely surprise to find. The house is about a 15-minute drive to the main road through the mountains, but fairly easy to navigate once you've done it once. We visited Benahavis (20-minute drive) for dinner a couple of times and there are plenty of restaurants there (although not all are open on a Sunday). Communication with the owner was excellent and prompt from the point of booking, through to the trip. The information he provided about the house and the local area was very thorough and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay at this house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

The apartment is in a hilly location and no shops directly close by, so a car is required. Marbella is about 15 minutes drive and San Pedro de Alcateraz is only 2km away. The apartment has 2 terraces. We used mainly the one connected to the lounge. It benefits from the morning sun and is lovely all day round with views of the sea in the distance. There is a nice breeze mostvof the time, which meant we hardly used the aircon as we opened the windows and doors. The bedrooms were comfortable with bedient mattresses and all have aircon. The swimming pool is lovely, however separate from the apartment at a 1 minute walk. Access is via a gate. The pool is beautiful and large enough to never feel too crowded. It's about 20m x 8m so a really good size with stunning surroundings and trees, shrubs etc. and.its all very nicely kept and gardeners were busy tidying and cleaning on a daily basis. We would definitely stay in this apartment again. Only thing we'd change is the roof top terrace and make that homelier and fit an outdoor kitchen, add plants (on both terraces), and put a blind outside the master bathroom window as the bathroom gets very warm from the sun. The table on the roof top terrace could also do with replacing as the table top was losing its lamination. Other than that we've had an amazing, wonderful stay in this apartment in a great part of the Costa del Sol and would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely apartment."

Los Arqueros is situated between the Golden Mile and the new Golden Mile near San Pedro. This is a gated urbanisation, with 24 hour security, offering spectacular views down to the coast and golf course.
The development boasts a challenging 18 hole golf course, which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and has an excellent club house. The club house (5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk) offers a restaurant and bar, with TV, wi-fi, a pro shop and children’s area with playground. Ten Pin Bowling. Additionally, for those wanting to be active, there is a gym, tennis, and paddle tennis courts, there is an additional cost. Las Jacarandas, has 2 separate swimming pools (one with a children’s pool). The pools are gated, so are extremely safe; one is situated behind our apartment, the other across the way, which is accessed using your gate key. Both offer a place to relax with shade and sun loungers, or why not stay on our roof terrace and soak in the rays?
A short 10 minute drive away, is the exclusive Puerto Banus, which offers a range of excellent cafes, restaurants, shops, beaches, beach clubs and activities. For those wanting to experience the real Spain, the beautiful white washed town of Benahavis, a 5-10 minute drive. San Pedro is also a mere 5 minutes from the property and Marbella 10-15 minutes away. Each quaint in their own right and all offering the authentic traditional Spain. SWIMMING POOLS
There are 2 separate pool areas on Las Jacarandas. One is accessed at ground level outside the block in which this apartment is situated, and is visable from the solarium of this property. The other, offers a larger pool with the addition of a children’s pool. This is accessed through a gate on the other side of the complex.
GETTING THERE:-
Malaga airport and Gibraltar airport are approximately equidistant from the property. Both 45-60 minutes away depending on your route. Los Arqueros is accessed just off the toll road “autopista Del sol” (AP-7) which can be used for a small fee. This road has less people on it and can also be quicker, especially during the busy months. It is also possible to take the coastal road, which follows the coastline for the majority of it from the Malaga airport; this road spans the Costa Del Sol (A-7) and will take you anywhere along the coast within this area!
Taxis are easy to order, and generally don’t take too long. The operator speaks some English, enough to order a taxi to our development if you require.
However, we really do recommended a car, so you can explore the surrounding areas of Benhavis, San Pedro, Marbella and further afield; unless you wish to just soak up the sun that is!
GOLF
Our apartment over looks the 7th Tee on Los Arqueros Golf Course.
Within a 5-10 minute drive there are many many golf courses; La Quinta being only a few minutes drive. There is also Los Naranos, Magna Marbella, Aloha, Atalaya, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina to name a few.
A little further, (15-20 minutes) you have Santa Clara, Marbella Golf, Cabopino and about 30-40 minutes away is Valderrama.
SUPERMARKETS & RESTAURANTS
Supercor is a 2 minute drive, situated on the opposite side of the Ronda Road. This is a small supermarket, offering all the essentials.
Mercadona is a 5 minute drive, situated in San Pedro. This is more appropriate for those wishing to eat in, buy more for their stay.
There are lots of restaurants in the surrounding areas; if you need help, please ask us for recommendations.
SURROUNDING AREA
During certain months, different villages hold a festival, known as a Spanish feria, they are a fantastic experience for both adults and children. They often have stalls selling local food, drinks, clothing and trinkets; and some also have entertainment, such as singers & spanish dancers.
Benahavis, known for its Gastronomy, is home to some amazing restaurants, beautiful white washed streets, cafes and quaint bars (only 10 minutes drive away - accessible if you drive to the other exit/entrance on Los Arqueros, past the club House).
Marbella - offers a beautiful walk along the front, known as the paseo. It’s possible to walk from Marbella all the way to San Pedro. Along the way, you will find many restaurants, bars, cafes, beaches, clubs and shops. Orange Square is particularly nice for an evening meal; especially during the warmer months when you can sit outside.
San Pedro, is a 5 minute drive from the property. It’s typically Spanish, where you will find many local bars, restaurants, shops and cafes.
Gibraltar, “known as the rock” is a 45 minute drive from the property. If you wish to explore the history behind some UK territory, there are many tours to choose from; dolphin watching boat trips, exploring the World War II tunnels, Gorham’s & St Michael’s cave, visit the macaques (monkeys) on top of the rock (the original inhabitants of Gibraltar!), ride the cablecar, bird watching & many more.
Ronda is also a lovely historical mountaintop village, offering jaw dropping views from a stone bridge spanning the gorge. It is famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and views.
Malaga itself is well worth a visit. Loaded with history and brimming with things to do, it’s a spectacular place to explore. With art galleries, a port, shops and food, as well as a Roman amphitheatre, a Moorish fortress and a Pompidou centre, it’s clear you’ll never be bored!
Seville, Granada and Córdoba, are all easily reached from the apartment within a couple of hours.
The province of Andalusia really does have it all; sun, sea, sand, food, drink, beauty and history!

This luxury 2-bedroom apartment is set in the exclusive surroundings of Capanes del Golf. Amid stunning landscaped gardens, our guests can indulge themselves with access to an indoor heated pool; 5 outdoor pools; a gym; jacuzzi and sauna.
Furnished with great attention to detail for your every comfort, the apartment is ideal for holiday guests with high expectations. A peaceful escape from the tourist bustle, it has nevertheless easy access to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona, Benahavis and the main resort areas.
The fully air-conditioned apartment boasts idyllic views of the golf course, lake and mountains. The extra large (100 sq/metre) terrace enjoys the sun from morning until night, and can comfortably accommodate dining, lounging and sunbathing with plenty of areas to relax. The outdoor sun-blinds keep you cool, providing shade in the summer months in the dining and sitting areas of the terrace.
The 2 bedrooms both have en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized Vi-Spring divan bed and the 2 single Vi-Spring divan beds in the second bedroom can be pushed together if required. Both have access to the large terrace. The master bedroom is large enough to accommodate at least one other bed if required. There is a separate cloakroom off the hallway.
The spacious lounge offers high-speed fibre optic WiFi and a large flat screen TV with 450+ channels including full Sky package (sports, movies etc.), a full BT Sport package, in addition to all UK and European terrestrial channels. There is a Bose sound dock in the kitchen, and a Bose stereo in the lounge with a connected iPad, offering a large music collection. Alternatively you can connect your own device.
The apartment is fully equipped to make you feel at home during your stay. In the kitchen you will find a Nespresso coffee maker; a Nutribullet blender and juicer, along with a variety of other amenities to suit your needs.
Easily accessible by car and foot, you will have access to a private parking space in the underground garage, with an elevator up to the apartment floor. The development is gated, offering 24-hour security, available on-call to you during your stay.

Capanes del Golf is situated on a 9-hole golf course known as El Higueral. There are other excellent golf courses in the immediate area such as Atalaya Golf & Country Club; El Paraiso Golf; Los Arqueros; Monte Mayor and Marbella Club.
The nearby village of Benahavis is a short drive from the development, offering an array of bars and first class restaurants.

This beautiful penthouse with marble floors has a beautiful roof terrace over the entire surface. It has two tastefully decorated bedrooms and two bathrooms. The 1st bedroom has patio doors to the terrace on the living floor, plenty of closet space and an ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, double sink and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. The entire apartment is equipped with air conditioning. Wi-Fi internet available. The living room is attractively furnished and has patio doors to the terrace with views of the mountains, golf course and pool. This terrace has a dining table with 4 chairs and a large retractable awning. Via the stone stairs you reach the roof terrace.
This 87 m2 roof terrace is fully furnished with a luxurious teak Boretti outdoor kitchen with mini fridge and sink with cold running water and drainage and drawers with crockery and cutlery. There is also a comfortable lounge set, four sunbeds, a large parasol and a round teak table with four chairs.
There are two storage boxes for the cushions and covers. The large earthenware pots with plants and trees give the roof terrace a cozy atmosphere. The trees are watered by an automatic irrigation system. On the roof terrace is a pergola with sun blinds. The roof terrace has panoramic views over the golf course and the mountains. The view is especially fantastic at night. Around a beautiful starry sky and beautifully lit villas against the mountains. Prepare something delicious on the Boretti outdoor kitchen at the setting sun, drink a glass of wine and watch a nice movie in the dark with lovely outside temperatures and a beautiful view.
The living room has two comfortable sofas and a dining room set with four chairs. There is satellite T.V. with Dutch television (HD/3D LED T.V. with the channels of the CanalDigital family package), a Blu-Ray/DVD player and a CD player. You can also stream your own content to the Chromecast "Family room" connected to the television. The luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment, such as a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, ceramic hob with extractor hood, a microwave and an oven.
