This bright and cosy studio apartment (25m²) is located on the 2nd floor (WITHOUT lift/elevator) of a superb Belle Epoque town house in the much sought-after Montgomery neighbourhood, two metro stops away from Schuman station.

There are two parking spaces reserved for Airbnb guests in front of the residence. You can park there for free.

Our home is a simple, lived-in apartment full of life and character, located in Ixelles near Place Flagey and the EU institutions. It’s not a hotel — it’s a real home shared with travelers who value authenticity over luxury.

The property offers private or semi-private rooms, including a budget-friendly mezzanine accessed by a steep ladder. Some spaces are separated by curtains instead of doors, but visual privacy is respected. We have a small private garden where guests can enjoy breakfast, a coffee, or just relax among the plants and flowers.

The kitchen and bathroom (folding door) are shared with a few respectful guests and occasionally with me, my girlfriend, or my family when they are visiting. We are a a modest family doing AirBnb to help pay bills and support our family abroad — no professional staff — we clean with care, avoid heavy chemicals, and value a human, eco-conscious approach. Since the house i permanently lived there is always something going on, its not a ice cold deseted airbnb you see now more and more. SO if you fear any speck of dust or some laundry drying better opt to an hotel.

We’re located near parks, tramway (81), and local shops, in a lively but residential neighborhood but our street is very calm. Light smoking is tolerated near windows or in the garden so if you are intolerant please dont book because smells of cigarettes or Hookah can sometimes persist .

BUT If you value good vibes, human connection, and affordable comfort in the heart of Brussels, you’ll feel right at home with us.

This is a real home, not a hotel. You’ll find a lived-in space with books, music, shared areas, and sometimes other guests. The stairs are steep and may not suit guests with mobility issues. garden has plants, flowers and a banana tree, this attract butterflies, small insects and some wondering snails. Sometimes this tiny little creatures wonder in the apartment, please don kill them and just depose them outside.

I m not home often so my cousin will be there for you; important to note he smoke cigarettes in his room so please make sure you are ok with this before you book.

We are renting our beautiful flat during our holidays.

It is very well located in Ixelles, between the famous "Place Jourdan" and "Place Flagey".

Many shopping places around (bio shops, Delhaize, Carrefour, Colruyt etc) within 5 to 10 minutes walk.
We have a small terrasse for sunny lunches or sunday chill-outs :)!

The space
We will be on holiday so you will be staying in the main room. Someone else is staying in the second room. Each of you have their private toilet but the shower, living room and kitchen are shared (although the other person is rarely at home).
The main room/your room is super bright and quiet and has a view on the garden (pretty green in spring/summer). Closing the shutters will make the room 100% dark.
