Hawks Nest is a beautiful, unspoilt seaside town 2 hours drive north of Sydney. Its main beach (Bennetts Beach), with white, squeaky sand, was recently voted 5th best beach in NSW and 15th in Australia. Our unit is 100m from this beach and has direct access. 5 mins drive away is Tea Gardens, that is on the Myall River that connects the Myall Lakes to the north to Port Stephens in the south. It has nice restaurants and a pub that are literally next to the river where you often see dolphins and always see pelicans.

The unit is set in a modern apartment block that has great facilities. U have a 2 car parking spot under the building and access to keys is via a key safe in the car park.

The Stay
Our price includes basic linen and towels, private use of the entire house and wi-fi access.
Your dog is welcome to stay, with strictly prior approval, but we recommend bringing a favourite bowl and bed to make them feel at home. You need to be aware that access to the roof is via a spiral metal staircase, so many dogs need to be carried upstairs. Dogs must be on a lead at all times on the common property stairs, carpark and gardens. Other pets are not permitted.
Check-in is from 3pm and check out is by 10am sharp.

The house is located towards the Southern end of Myall Street, close to the Visitors Information Centre and Boatshed restaurant. It's an easy stroll over the Singing Bridge to Hawks Nest for access to the famous beaches, golf course and headland walks. - "Only comment is some tea towels would have been handy. " - "Our only disappointment was the lack of consumerables basics to get us through our 1 night as we didn’t arrive until 7pm. No soap in the bathrooms or kitchen, no tea towels, salt & pepper, no dishwashing liquid or tablets for the dishwasher. When the agent confirmed our booking, they said linen was supplied, so we didn’t pack linen. To arrive & find this out at 7pm was extremely annoying. I have to say the next morning the agent was apologetic & provided us with a pack of goodies that included soap, shampoo, tea,sugar, garbage bags plus linen. For $380 per night I’d expect this to be a standard. Cleaning was $200 & we had to take our own rubbish out & empty all the bins. It’s the smallest things that can make a good weekend to disappointing"

Our lovely 2 bedroom unit has a level entry into the living room at the front and also level entry at the rear into the laundry. Guests can park right at the front door.

The bathroom and laundry are also on the entry level. The lounge converts to a comfy queen sized bed.

Upstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, verandah and two bedrooms both with queen sized beds. The only bathroom is downstairs.

The washing machine and laundry are dedicated to the unit. The clothes line is near the back door.

Lockbox is at the front. The code will be given out on the day before arrival so check your phone on the day.

Guests have access to the entire unit, the fenced front and back yards and the common areas outside.

Other things to note
