The only point I’d mention is anyone taking their dog to hawks nest be wary of the dingos. Even though some beaches are off leash I’d recommend you keep your dog on leash. Dingos were everywhere! Myself and my golden retriever were stalked on the beach . It was terrifying. We also had a run in with one roaming the streets near the caravan park. It stopped in front of my husband and growled. They are persistent and intelligent. Locals told me to carry a stick! Not inducive to a relaxing beach holiday with your pet!"
