This three bedroom home offers character and, charm. Situated on one and a half acres opposite bushland and only a few minutes to the village of Kendall. It's just 10 minutes to Laurieton township, the Queens lake, a selection of beaches, Gogleys lagoon and the beautiful Camden Haven river. If you crave a bit more, then Port Macquarie is only 30 minutes away!

The home offers three good sized bedrooms; with a queen size bed, double bed and, two single beds. It also has an updated kitchen and, bathroom which includes laundry facilities. There is no bath or fences so, it may not suit very young children/toddlers.. The limit is probably four to five as six may be a bit tight although a night or two would probably be fine. The dining area leads to a small deck overlooking the paddock.

The home is around 100 years old. It certainly isn't perfect and, has a certain quirkiness to it. If you love old homes you will probably enjoy this one (I hope!). If you are after something fancy then, its probably not the holiday home for you. The Camden Haven is a wonderful area surrounded by beautiful water ways. Kendall Village offers all that you need really. There is general store, Miss Nellie's coffee shop, Liquor Store and a good old fashioned take away if you fancy some fish and chips or, a burger. The Kendall Citizens and Services club has river frontage is a great spot for a drink over looking the river and, the Bistro offers a reasonably good selection too. There is a great thrift shop, local swimming pool and, tennis court.

If you want to take in some stunning views, the Comboyne Plateau is an easy drive over the mountain. While some of the trip is on dirt road it is very well maintained and, quite an easy drive. The stunning views when you reach the top are very much worth it.

Laurieton & North Haven townships are only 10 minutes with restaurants, cafe's, the gorgeous Plaza Cinema (which shows all the latest releases) and, more. There is a choice of beaches; North Haven, Pilot beach or Gogley's lagoon which is great for children. Queens Lake offers boating opportunities as does the beautiful Camden Haven river with boat hire at Dunbogan Boat Shed. Lake Cathie and, Bonny Hills are just a little further. It is also only a 30 minute drive to Port Macquarie if you feel like a lot more hustle and bustle. So much to see and do.

Downstairs spacious third bedroom has sliding doors that open up to the back yard. In summary, river views and outdoor excess available from all bedrooms!. Downstairs laundry is adjacent to bedroom 3 and features another bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet.

- "The rooms were neat, tidy and all the basic necessities were catered for. It had a large yard for our dog to roam around and explore." - "An older house that suited us with a dog. We did not require modern facilities and liked the old beach house feel. The original booking was the flat which was too small and offered no relaxing feel. Trouble was more than several teens who did not reside there were using the private grounds for hanging out and skipping school. We called the real estate and we’re told the property manager would get back to us but we didn’t get a call back and we had to confront the group ourselves.. we notified real estate again by txt but never heard back. - "Clean, spacious house with ample room for our family of 6 adults and 3 toddlers. Set on a quiet street overlooking a peaceful and shallow bay. The location is only a few minutes away from three boat ramps, and two minutes away from Laurieton centre hence very convenient. The entire river system is full of life, with yabbies found on every sand bank. Oyster leases came into sight throughout the river as we journeyed through. For those who are unaware, make sure protect yourself from sandflies as they are very rampant in the warmer coastal sandy banks. All in all it was a great getaway and fun experience!"

- "We liked everything, but specifically we would like to mention about our enjoyment of the lake view, forest walk in the morning, BBQ in lunch time and our gathering outside fireplace in the evening, where plenty of Woodstock was available." - "We found the house to be more than suitable for the people staying there. Bed 6 had no flyscreens to the windows and no air conditioning and there were plenty of mozzies due to the location of the site. Evacuation Plan shows an exit from the laundry, however the single key supplied did not unlock it."

We are in walking distance to the gorgeous village of Kendall, but tucked away in a quiet street. Our lush, local beaches are a short 10 minute drive and Port Macquarie is 20 minutes north of us.

Plenty of parking on our private driveway and rooms all have queen size beds. Two rooms have ensuites. Kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances.
