Sea Foam Cottage is a recently renovated villa in Corindi where guests can make the most of the garden and terrace. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi. Kitchen, lounge and dining are open plan with lovely view of the park, the estuary and boat ramp. The master bedroom features a queen bed and spacious cabinet with views of the park and river and is joining the living room. We have a queen bed in the second bedroom and 2 single beds in the third. There is a bathroom with a toilet, shower and vanity and a separate toilet and sink.. The covered verandah faces park, boat ramp and estuary. The BBQ area is out the back.(gas bbq has wheels, can be taken to front verandah if preferred)
The yard is fully fenced. Well behaved pets are welcome. Pet owners are asked to clean up after their pets if needed. If you intend to bring a pet please let us know.
Please give us at least 48 hours notice if you intend to stay.

At present the house behind us is being renovated so there can be noise associated with renovating a house during week days.

Red Rock

Red Rock is a lovely quiet village in a very picturesque setting. There are two beaches, the 'Big Beach' with a bit of a surf for the more adventurous or the 'Little Beach' with a pool at low tide for the little ones and lovely shaded spots protected from southerlies to enjoy and relax. The beaches are patrolled at weekends and in school holidays (observe signs at beach)
The estuary is great for kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, swimming.....
If fishing is your passion you can choose from fishing off the rocks at the headland, fishing on the beach, along the broad walk in the river or from a boat in the estuary or the ocean.
Along the river is a park with a children's playground, electric BBQs and tables and a great local store for essentials and great take-aways.
Kayak hire etc. is also available from the shop.
Red Rock is a bird watcher's dream with a lot of rare birds to be spotted along the river or in the heath. In spring the flowers in the heath are worthwhile a visit.
From July to November the headland is a great place for whale watching.
There is a bowling green and tennis courts. The bowling club has a bar and bistro for those who want to eat out. A bit further away (6km's) is the Amble Inn in Corindi. A pub with a great atmosphere and a very good restaurant.

Surrounding area

To the north Red Rock adjoins Yuraygir National Park with beautiful pristine beaches and rock pools.
Red Rock is situated in the Solitary Island Marine Park, there are very good dive sites at the nearby islands where divers can enjoy encounters with mantas, eagle rays, grey nurse sharks etc. and a multitude of fish.
The closest dive operators are situated in Mullaway (10 min. drive) and Coffs Harbour (30 min drive).
Woolgoolga (15 min drive) is the closest town. It has a large Sikh Punjabi community and the pure white Guru Nanak Sikh Temple is an outstanding feature of the town. There are supermarkets, lovely coffee shops, vegetable and spice shops, curry restaurants, a lively pub and markets near the beach once a month and several festivals throughout the year.
Another 15 min down the road you get to Coffs Harbour, a large town with shopping centres, cinemas, a theatre, lots of pubs, hotels, tourist attractions etc.
Further afield along the waterfall Way are Bellingen, a trendy and touristy town with lots of music events, coffee shops etc. and Dorrigo with a 'skywalk' in the National Park, waterfalls, etc.

Heritage House, 14 Ford St, Red Rock NSW 2456

Enjoy your coastal getaway at Red Rock's oldest, heritage listed house, (circa 1880). Lovingly restored the property is located centrally in the Red Rock village less than 100 meter's easy walk to the park like reserve, ocean beach, bowling club and fully equipped general store. Go to sleep at night where the only sound you hear is the sound of the ocean.

The house accommodates a maximum of 6 with 2 queen beds and 2 single beds in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 outdoor eating areas where you can enjoying the open air in the back yard or under cover of the front verandah and the property is pet friendly with fully fenced back yard. Your pets house movements are restricted to the back verandah only.

You will need to bring your own sheets and towels as linen is NOT supplied and in the interests of water conservation please limit water usage to shorter showers and not leaving taps running unnecessarily.

Please note that Heritage House is someone's home, not a motel, and expect guests to leave the house in the condition they found it. Cleaning products and equipment are provided. If the house is left in disarray or not cleaned a minimum $120 cleaning fee will apply.

Keys are available via a key safe located at the property. Access Code will be provided to guests no later than 48 hours before check-in.

Our cute little beach shack is the perfect spot for a coastal escape. Offering the ultimate in privacy, away from the crowds, and nestled in a completely secluded bush setting. The ultimate bird watchers paradise! Only a short walk to beaches, the estuary, shop, and an even shorter roll to Red Rock's main social venue - The Bowlo!

Fully self-contained, it comfortably sleeps up to four adults. A maximum of TWO canine friends are very welcome!

Away from the bustle of caravans and only a five minute walk to the beach, creek or boat ramp, our secluded cottage offers sun-kissed privacy behind a bush garden filled with native birds. Our front and back yard are both fully fenced, providing a safe place for your dog to relax.

The house features a queen master suite with two singles in the second bedroom.

Guests are welcome to all facilities.

We live offsite but can be contacted by email or phone at any time. We have a caretaker who looks after the property, however she is unavailable at short notice and often out of town on weekends and school holidays. For this reason we are also unable to accommodate back to back bookings on weekends (i.e. same day check-out/check-in on Saturday or Sunday) as she is unavailable to prepare the property for the next guests.

Please note blankets and pillows are available however sheets and towels are not provided.

Check-in/check-out is firm unless alternative times requested at time of booking. As we do not live on site and rely on our caretaker check-in is 2pm and check-out is 10am. The town of Red Rock relies on tank water. We ask that you use water wisely. If there is a power outage you will not have access to water until the power is restored as the pump is electric.

For a good feed you can walk across the street to the One Rock Bistro at the Bowlo, catch the courtesy bus to the Amble Inn, or drive 10 minutes to Woolgoolga for a restaurant meal.

For all your shopping needs Coffs Harbour is only half an hour South. There is a large Woolworths in Woolgoolga, or you could organise online delivery from Woolworths or Coles online.

Everything in Red Rock is within walking distance of 5-10 minutes. The local pub in Corindi offers a courtesy bus, but a vehicle is required to travel to and from Red Rock.

Red Rock is a quiet seaside hamlet with a variety of beaches at your doorstep. Play cricket or relax along the Corindi River in the park. The Sandbar Holiday House is a renovated 1950's beach house located front and centre among the houses with river frontage at Red Rock NSW - see Map. This cute little holiday shack features 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and remote controlled ceiling fans, and a front enclosed sunroom and dining room with full length opening bifold windows. The Sandbar sleeps a maximum of 4 guests in total.

This property emphasizes location being centrally located within very short walking distance to all of the Red Rock attractions. Red Rock is a quiet coastal hide-away situated 35km north of Coffs Harbour in NSW. "The Willows" beach house backs onto a vegetated sand dune with a path leading straight onto the back beach. It's just walking distance from the Red Rock Estuary, bowls club and caravan park kiosk.

If you are after a perfect relaxing holiday destination, it is great for quiet walks, fishing, picnic/BBQs, bird watching, boating, swimming in the surf or floating down the river.

The house can easily cater for two families with its three bedrooms (2 x Queen bedrooms plus 1 x bedroom containing 2 bunks - double bed bottoms and single bed tops). Red Rock is close by and a great place for swimming, fishing, kayaking and snorkelling with it's fresh, clear water.
The Woolgoolga 18 hole Golf Course is also a short drive and is situated at Safety Beach.
Corindi is a 10 minute drive to Woolgoolga where there’s Woolworths, restaurants, coffee shops, clubs and some boutique shops and the famous Woopi Beach.
This area offers some of the North Coast’s best beaches including Arrawarra Headland, Moonee, Safety Beach and Red rock. Coffs Harbour is a 30 minute drive away.

- "House was so tastefully-decorated and the owners made sure we had everything we needed. Pool was great for the kids and the owners even provided pool toys and beach bags and toys for the beach. Fully-equipped modern kitchen was fantastic and filled with nice dishes, cutlery and pantry supplies. Only downside was we were not told the dishwasher was unusable so we loaded it up (family of 5 and we had meals at home) and then had to unload everything and clean up the food spills inside the machine. We have no problems doing the dishes by hand but would’ve been nice to know. All rooms were excellent, beds (thank you for having proper beds!) were extremely comfy and felt clean, carpets and bathrooms all clean which we really appreciated. There is also a Webber BBQ plus two long fold-away tables and plenty of chairs to take advantage of the comfortable climate - perfect for a long afternoon of entertaining.

The Blue Swimmer is the perfect escape for families.. The garage is packed with bodyboards, stand-up paddle boards, noodles and even a Cool Cabana so you can get outside and enjoy the beach. Grab a noodle and walk less than 100m to jump in the creek and float down pristine turquoise waters to Little Beach, or take the paddle-boards for a spin around the island.

Only a stroll to Red Rocks River, general store & kids park it has everything you need for the perfect family holiday at your fingertips. This beautifully appointed 2 storey family home is spacious & filled with light. Take a break and unwind at the peaceful oasis of Red Rock. A short walk down the road will take you to either the lovely Corindi river for a swim or fish, or Red Rock Beach and the Headland, with beautiful views and walking trails.
You will have a private room with a double bed. You will be sharing the entire downstairs area of the house with myself (25 year old working male), and my very friendly Labrador cross.

Located in the coastal village of Red Rock in Gumbayngirr Country, The Blue Swimmer is an original 1940’s fibro beach shack with sweeping views across the water and the pristine Yuraygir National Park.

Nestled between the Corindi Creek and the Sea, the town of Red Rock lies surrounded by the untamed wilderness of the Yuraygir. With fishing, surfing, and magnificent coastal walks right on your doorstep, The Blue Swimmer provides the perfect base to explore the natural wonders of the area.

The space
Inside the shack, relax and unwind between the frangipanis with spectacular views of the estuary from the fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar. Sit back in our comfortable living area and watch the Spoonbills and the Oyster Catchers while away the afternoon on the sandbank out the front.

Both bedrooms are furnished with a touch of luxury including a generous king size bed, a queen with king single bunk, comfy new mattresses and quality linen.

The Blue Swimmer is the perfect escape for families.. Kids can kick a ball around the big backyard, cast a line in the creek out the front, or roam freely at the park and playground in direct view from the shack. On a rainy day, snuggle up inside with plenty of books, toys and boardgames to keep everyone occupied.

The garage is packed with bodyboards, stand-up paddle boards, noodles and even a Cool Cabana so you can get outside and enjoy the beach. Grab a noodle and walk less than 100m to jump in the creek and float down pristine turquoise waters to Little Beach, or take the paddle-boards for a spin around the island.

Despite its laid-back, peaceful vibe, the sleepy village of Red Rock offers a few fantastic options for convenient eats and supplies.
A few steps down the road, the Red Rock store slings coffee, takeaway and the world’s best hot chips. You can also organise a Woolies delivery from the nearby town of Woolgoolga.

For something a little more upbeat, take a short walk to the Red Rock Bowls Club for an afternoon game of barefoot bowls, beers, or the most delicious Middle Eastern dining at Afrin Restaurant.

Don’t forget to keep an ear out for ‘the prawn man’ who regularly drives around town offering locally caught prawns and fresh seafood. Or better yet, head out onto the creek and catch a flatty for dinner yourself.

Other Activities:

For intrepid hikers, the shack is located at the end point of the Yuraygir Coastal Trail, a spectacular 65km hike that passes from Angourie to Red Rock through age-old coastal landforms, littoral rainforest, eucalypt forest, woodland and wetlands. It also marks the beginning of the Solitary Islands Coastal Walk, which continues South along another 60km of stunning coastline to the town of Sawtell.

For boating enthusiasts, Red Rock is the perfect launch pad to explore the wild upper reaches of the Corindi Creek or venture further offshore to explore the wonders of the Solitary Islands Marine Park.

There is even a free Community Tennis Court just down the road if you feel like a hit of tennis, no need to book, just bring your racquet.

This house relies on tank water and an on-site sewerage system so care must be taken with water usage and waste disposal. See house manual. There is a post office/general store in Red Rock for urgent supplies but the closest large supermarket is 10 minutes drive south in Woolgoolga. House deliveries from Woolworths in Woolgoolga or Coles at Moonee Beach are available should you wish to make online orders.

The property is newly renovated throughout - two bedrooms with queen size beds and one smaller room with a king single. Kitchen has gas cooktop, air fryer and microwave and a large fridge. There is also a Weber BBQ for outdoor cooking. Wifi speaker and television are included with free wifi. Netflix and Kayo are also included. The spacious deck has views to the creek and fully fenced yard. The creek is approx 100m walk level out the back gate and across the grassed park. The boat ramp is also a short walk from the house.

Red Rock has a general store which sells basic groceries and fish and chips and burgers. There is also a bowling club with bar and restaurant and tennis courts. Woolworths also deliver.

Sans souci beach house @ red rock aims to capture the quintessential Aussie beachside experience. Remembering our own childhood holidays in sleepy coastal villages we have aimed to create a relaxing and welcoming beach house that provides for beachside action as well as relaxation. The house has been updated (Sept 2021) to include 2 brand new bathrooms, repainting inside and out, cosy nooks for the bunk room, new reverse cycle. Red Rock is on septic and tank water which provides all of the usual comforts while also making you feel even closer to nature! The house has all the mod cons and at the same time maintains a quirky retro vibe that tries to help you return to simpler times. If you enjoy a morning swim, kayak, or a beach walk, followed by a bbq lunch and then want to kick back with a book, a puzzle or a 90's VHS movie, we've got you covered :-)

Guest access
The whole house is yours! You are welcome to use the bikes, canoe, kayak and all of the beach equipment as well as the books, movies and games. These are our cherished belongings and we hope that our guests enjoy sharing them with us, as well as looking after them as we do!

Keys are on-site and a code is provided to registered guests. This means you can check in anytime after 2pm as suits your arrival time.

Other things to note
I don't know about you, but arriving to a house where I have to bring absolutely everything, or when I get 2 dishwasher tablets and one chux cloth and tea towel for my whole week stay really bothers me! That's why we provide the essentials for your whole stay! We also provide lots of the fun stuff, noodles, bikes, kayak etc, so you don't need a trailer to bring all of yours from home. We don't supply personal toiletries such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner as these are such a personal choice!

To avoid wasting time grocery shopping, order online from Coles or Woolies. Both deliver to the house. To avoid disappointment, allow for substitutions on your choices. If you want to shop in person head to Woopi Woolies.

Len's Retreat is located just minutes from the beautiful Red Rock river, beaches and the boat ramp this home away from home is set-up for the whole family.

The space
The property features 3 bedrooms with queen bed, two singles and two set of bunk beds, and fourth area for the kids with a further set of bunk beds. With plenty of space to sleep the kids, you can be sure entertainment for them hasn't been missed with board games and a DVD player.
There are two bathrooms, one with a separate toilet, plus a full-sized kitchen, front and back covered outdoor areas and TV in the living/dining area and in the third bedroom.
There is also a Webber BBQ plus two long fold-away tables and plenty of chairs to take advantage of the comfortable climate - perfect for a long afternoon of entertaining.
Parking for one car is located under the carport however there is plenty of room for extra cars or even the boat trailer on the extra-large front lawn.

Only a stroll to Red Rocks River, general store & kids park it has everything you need for the perfect family holiday at your fingertips. Red Rock Beach & Corindi Beach are also only a short drive away unless you don't mind a 5 – 10 minute walk.

This beautifully appointed 2 storey family home is spacious & filled with light. On the lower floor you will enter into the front living area, continuing through this level you will find the large open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining & second living. There is also a fully covered alfresco area out the back the perfect space for a summers afternoon barbeque after enjoying a day floating in the red rock river. On this level you will also find the long garage big enough to fit a car & your boat in. The laundry & second toilet are also located at the back of the garage.

On the upper floor you will find 4 large sized bedrooms, all with ceiling fans, queen beds & access to a balcony. The two northern facing bedrooms have large smart tv's. Rinse of the salt water in the large bathroom offering an open shower & bathtub.
