This spacious newly renovated two storey Quaker Barn has everything a family would need for a comfortable stay.

We have put a lot of thought into the safety aspect and made The Barn as safe as we could for children (a copy of our risk assessment is available on request), however you know your children best, please only book if you are comfortable with the accommodation noting the stairs and the handrail in the kids open plan bedroom.

The accommodation is set in a rural area. There are various wildlife who call this part of the world their home. This includes (but not limited to): possums, birds, skinks, lizards, mice, rats, snakes, spiders, midges, mosquitoes, flied, beetles, native bees, wasps and rabbits. We provide a can of insect spray in the laundry cabinet if you see an insect you don't like. If you make a booking at The Barn, we assume you have read this information and agree to our policy with regards to "pests" Cancellations by you before, during or after your stay due to "pests" will not be refunded.

We (the hosts) live next door (separate property) and are available to assist in person on short notice if required.

- "The barn is a little piece of paradise within the city limits. It is extremely well set up and has literally everything you will need for your stay. It is very neat and comfortable. My kids loved the trees in the yard and had a lot of fun playing hide and seek. It is close to Ipswich and easy to get around. You can still hear general city sounds like traffic and trains but is a lot quieter than right in the city. The hosts were wonderful and instructions on where the property is and check in and out was super easy."
