A wall cupboard which was stocked with general crockery, cutlery and cups etc and cooking utensils such as a frying pan and pan. Toiletries were provided free of charge. The owner also sold bottled water, which was reasonably priced. - "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria’s house. It was well appointed and in a super location just a few minutes walk to the lovely village of Katelios and it’s long, clean, sandy beach. There was a large terrace with awning that we used every day and this have a panoramic view down to the sea. We liked the accommodation and found the air con very useful at night. The bathroom and shower were a bit small but this was not a problem. We like to cook on holiday so looked specifically for a property with a good cooker. We hired a car and found Katelios a good base to explore the island and found the driving to be generally relaxed; the roads are not particularly good and this seems to keep the speed down. We met Georgios and his family who were very friendly and welcoming and always pleased to help. Kefalonia is a lovely island with plenty of greenery and we thought the area around Katelios was particularly pleasant. We enjoyed finding some of the more remote, hidden beaches. We would have no hesitation in recommending Maria’s house"
