The location of the hotel is excellent for visitors as it is near the bazar quarter(10 minutes walk) the coast (20 minute walking) an kültürpark and its museums (5 minutes). Bed was uncomfortable. Slept on sofa. Office help was responsive to a few things like a hot water pot but unable to correct anything else. These are only few bit there were heaps more,cruel unit is full of old clutter then having useful stuff for the people to stay there. On top of all that my baby also caught bed bug as he had little red spots on his arms and face we took him to hospital and turned out to be the dirty linen he provided us with Jad fleece."

Temper your expectations and adapt to the way things are in Izmir. This apartment is on the hill up from the waterfront, so it does require stair climbing; it is Izmir after all! Being in an older section of the city means that you aren't paying touristy prices for high end hotels. The apartment requires one to climb 60 stairs, but the payoff is the view. Magnificient. The furnishings were fine, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Main bedroom has air conditioning as does the kitchen area. Decently equipped. There are stores located nearby for basic necessities, including a bakery. The Izmir Historic Elevator Building is a 5 minute walk, and surpise! You'll need to descend some stairs to access it. Use it. I'd recommend taking the free elevator down, and walking towards the water to Mithatpasa Cd. Turn right, take a 10 minute walk and you'll find all sorts of doner, kebab and bakery shops. You can even find fishing gear if that's your forte. Very affordable meals to be found in this area. The one downside is parking and driving in the narrow streets; it's an "adventure" for sure. The trick is to always look for the next pullout in case you meet someone. Stay calm and it will work out. You cannot be a timid driver. There is an OtoPark about 1km away. It's a good idea to park there and walk to the apartment. Cheers!"
