It is owned, managed and operated by three friendly, helpful, and pleasant brothers, who speak English and German. One of them stays there overnight in a private unit, so it is very safe. They accommodated my specific requests (such as airport pickup/drop off, tour and other local info; exchanging Euros – better rates than nearby; laundry; late departure), and prepared delicious daily breakfasts with coffee/tea. There are 10 units in two buildings. My well-lit upper floor unit had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and entrance, and included a spacious living room with a large wardrobe, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Sheets and towels were replaced every few days or upon request. There are fruit trees, flowers, and a small garden. The dinners that I had there (chicken filet with greens; fish and chips) were well prepared and delicious. There is a bar area near the pool, and alcoholic and other beverages are reasonably priced. The property is only a few minutes walk to Ladies Beach and the promenade along the sea with its restaurants, bars, stores, etc… Carrefour, BIM and small food and other stores are close by. I own a holiday company and can go anywhere free of charge but for the last 10 years I pay to take my family here ( and have already booked for 2015) It is totally safe, being surrounded by Olive Groves; very very friendly as the homes are often occupied through the summer by the owners, and not too large, consisting of 80 private apartments. The quality of accommodation is matched by the outstanding planning that has gone into providing for all you need on site at the community, for all ages. Even down to a shaded swimming pool for young children. Here goes with what you have on site. in brief. A bar, restaurant, shop, children's play area. Covered children's pool, main pool, indoor restaurant with dance floor and live music and free entertainment in the evenings, wifi, Sky TV, full time manager, floodlit soccer pitch, children's outdoor play area, large children's soft play area and more. There is a gym, sauna.

- "I have been taking my family to WHISPERING SANDS for the last 5 years . In my experience being in the holiday business there is nothing quite like WHISPERING SANDS . So friendly, safe, and well run by a Uk manager, his wife, 3 adult children and other family members that are always on hand to help. The afternoon children's club is so popular and gives me time to relax. Then every evening there is a show of some kind, such as the firework show which is spectacular and like all the shows , totally free to residents. The community offers everything you might get in a large hotel yet there are never more there than about 150 persons on site peak season when we go. Being small and gated i can let the children make friends, play in the pool ,etc, knowing they are not out of sight and it is totally safe whilst I relax and prop up the sports bar. i gave the children other options for our holiday in 2015 and needless to say they insist we go back next year ( great) where no doubt they and I will meet old friends once again."

To ensure you of a luxurious and comfortable stay, all your requirements have been anticipated and provided for in a very modern design setting: air conditioning, hot water, TV / Satellite with domestic and foreign TV channels, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kitchen utensils, dining area, iron and board, hair dryer,. Towels and sheets are provided and there is free wireless internet connection.

- "Just back from a lovely stay at the Lavender Residence in Sogucak. The resort was lovely and the staff managing the resort were extremely helpful and responded quickly and positively to any requests. Our apartment 1B was very comfortable and well equipped for self catering including a washing machine. It had its own garden area with sun beds for our personal use (not sure all apartments have this) and a table and chairs. The pool area was beautiful and the pool very much needed to cool down as it was very hot during our stay. We did not try the onsite restaurant so cannot comment on this. Shops, bakery and the fruit/veg market in the village a short drive away catered for everyday needs and there were plenty of supermarkets within a 10/15 minute drive. Whilst we did see a food delivery van delivering from Migros Supermarket, it is important to note that the apartments are not within walking distance of the village and you therefore really need a car when staying here. My only other concern would be for people who are not fully mobile as the resort is build on a hill and has steep slopes and stairs. Would definitely recommend and would certainly look to return for a relaxing holiday."
