Summer is beautiful but the town gets packed best times of the year are spring and Fall unless like me, you enjoy the sea in winter time

Restaurants all along the promenade were fantastic and affordable - and the fact that we were able to take a 1/2 hour train to Rome for the day and be back in our cozy beachside abode at night- was such a bonus. Wonderful visit the clear beach of the Torre Flavia Swamp Natural Monument (wwf oasis) 3 km from the house, at the bottom of the sea, just across the tower, lies the wreck of an ancient Roman ship still with its load of amphorae.
Here you can also take beautiful horseback riding on the beach or surf lessons.
Lately in the sea in front of Ladispoli, it seems that a small coral reef is appearing. This phenomenon, certainly exacerbated in recent years due to the warming of the Mediterranean waters, represents a sort of "unique fact". There are many divers who offer the opportunity to see this phenomenon very unusual for the Mare Nostrum.

In April you can not miss the gastronomic weekend of the artichoke festival "Romanesco".

In summer, standing by the beaches and the lively central square of the town. The train station is 5 minutes walk away from the house, passing trough the lively "boulevard" of the town. Trains go to Rome every 20-30 minutes and in just 20 minutes you will be in front of the world famous-award winning Couple of St. Peter!
No stress, no need to use a car! And in Rome, you know, it could be very difficult!

Coming back home, i'm sure you will appreciate the attention i put for many details that make your stay a pleasant experience. The kitchen, entirely renovated in september 2018, the naturally fresh rooms with comfortable beds and darkening tents, the climate control for hot and cool air, the fast internet provider, to permit you to stay constantly connected with your home, your work and your habits, the bathroom with washing machine and linen heater, facilities as hairdryer, flat iron, coffee machine and microwave oven. Most of the tourists think that to visit Rome, they have to stay in Rome, possibly in the neighborhood of the monuments. Expensive, full of "tourist traps", chaotic sometimes. Ladispoli offers the unique chance to live by the seaside and move to Rome comfortably, without stress and quickly, at fares that mostly are very lower than Rome city. Guests can visit Rome every day if they want to, but Ladispoli is not just a place to stay and relief the fatigue of a tourist tour in Rome. Ladispoli and its hinterland offers much to see and discover. 2 km far from the flat there are two natural reserves, Torre Flavia and Palo Laziale, two beautiful corners of sea and nature. This part of the region is the "land of Etrurians", an ancient population who lived here before Rome was built! Cerveteri, Tarquinia and all the town surrounding Ladispoli are so rich of history, don't stop to Colosseo and Trevi Fountain.
