The check-in was simple and easy, and communication with the host was flawless. He even provided a parking spot behind the apartment, upon request. We also brought our dog, who was also welcome. There is a small park about a 10 minute walk away for kids. Just to note (as I must have missed it in the listing) that this apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator and since it is on a busier street, if the windows are open, you do hear the traffic. But all in all, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others."

The holiday flat is located in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Meissen porcelain factory and the old town, right next to the neo-Gothic-style Luther Church in the middle of the Triebisch Valley, surrounded by the town forest.

The quiet holiday flat is located in a three-storey, fully renovated town house built around 1890 with only two tenants. The flat is 77 m² in size and comprises the following rooms: two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with 32-inch flat-screen TV, dining table and seating area; a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven as well as a seating area, and a bathroom with bathtub, washer-dryer and WC. Both bedrooms, the living room and the hallway have laminate flooring, the kitchen and bathroom are tiled.

It is possible to use the quiet garden behind the house. There is a small playground with a swing and sandpit, garden furniture and a barbecue. The property is fully fenced and has its own car park which can be used free of charge. There is also a lockable parking space for bicycles.

The space
My small apartment was renovated in Nov. 2022 & 80% newly equipped. It has 1 room with sleeping and kitchen area and a mini-bath.
It is equipped with a stable bed 160 x 200 cm, comfortable mattresses incl. allergy covers. As well as a flat-screen TV incl. Netflix and Co., as well as free Wi-Fi.
The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, mini oven, a coffee pad machine incl. pads, kettle and everything you could ever need (oil, pepper, salt, sugar)
There is also a small bathroom, with shower and washing facilities, including a hairdryer. You have a view of the garden area, which is populated by our small flock of chickens.
For departures on Sunday, I offer a free late check-out at 12 pm.

Towels, sheets and dish towels are provided by the apartment.
They are therefore part of the cleaning fee.

A baby/toddler bed incl. Bedding is possible for an extra charge.
As well as the use of the private, separate washing machine/dryer & iron on request.

You have access to the key via my key safe (code from about 10 hours before check-in), which is located at the central front door, left under the doorbells. The vacation rental is located after entering the hallway, behind the first door on the right.

The bike path is only 2 minutes driving time & a 5-minute walk away. From here you can reach Radebeul (Wackerbarth Castle), Weinböhla (Zentralgasthof concerts & cabaret), Coswig (lakes), Dresden
(Film nights on the banks of the Elbe/Semper Opera House, Frauenkirche), as well as Riesa (noodle factory).

With only a 5-minute walk to Albrechtsburg Meissen, as well as an 11-minute walk to the beautiful old town, nothing stands in the way of an evening visit to a restaurant of your choice, with a glass of Meissen wine or beer.
By train you can reach Dresden, as well as the wonderful Saxon Switzerland, which invites you to hike in all seasons.

Exclusive apartment overlooking Lutherplatz on the 3rd floor (unfortunately without elevator) of a stylish Wilhelminian-style building in the green district of Cölln, a twelve-minute walk from the historic old town and 300 meters from the Elbe. The apartment is well equipped, with a small bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, modern equipped kitchenette, shower/toilet and hallway. The city of Meissen charges a guest tax of €1.50 per adult person/night, which is payable in cash upon arrival.

The space
The bedroom has a romantic, custom-built sleeping berth (comfortable bed between two walls) with the size 156 x 200. The view from the headboard goes directly through the skylight up to the stars if you leave the electric shutter up. The small room is complemented by a tall cabinet with various compartments and a small armchair.
The living room with couch and dining table has a smart TV with cable connection and Internet as well as a soundbar with which guests can connect their Bluetooth-enabled devices to enjoy their own music, audio books, etc.
The kitchen has a toaster, kettle, Senseo pad machine, French press, two-burner stove and an oven with microwave function. Of course, a fridge with ice compartment and a dishwasher are also included.

The S-Bahn station Altstadt is 5 minutes away. Parking in front of the door is subject to a charge of €5 per day, but if you drive 500 m further, it is free of charge.
