HISTORY
The old bakery was built in 1905 as a corner building in the typical factory building style of the Wilhelminian period. The baked goods produced here were sold in the shop in the front building. A car repair shop in GDR times, the small yellow clinker brick building fell into disrepair in the post-reunification period and in 2006 was literally saved at the last minute from demolition. The renovation, which was carried out in accordance with the preservation order, received a commendation from the Leipzig Cultural Foundation. Today, the old bakery is a listed building and was expanded in 2014 to include a puristic, generously glazed annex and a high clinker wall on the street side.

Our beautiful ground floor flat is located in the new trendy district near Eisenbahnstraße. The flat is bright and warm due to the floorboards and parquet flooring and the light wooden doors. From the kitchen you can go directly to the terrace, where you are welcome to smoke.

The flat is also very well connected to public transport (the Eisenbahnstraße/Herrmann-Liebmann-straße stop is 3 minutes away). Even at night you can always get there by tram/bus!
A grocery shop, an Aldi and fruit shops are also just around the corner (max. 5 minutes' walk).

In the flat there is a cat living! He wont be walking around in your room, but in the kitchen and the bathroom. He's rather shy and of corse very very cute and peaceful ;)
