Really spectacular site. This accommodation is located in the basement. A large window in the kitchen provides light but not a view of the river. You can, however, go out into the yard and have direct access to a long walk along the waterfront. Close to many activities (garden, museum, hiking, skiing). We are on the arts route, lots of art galleries, a few restaurants and bistros and a craft brewery. (no304573)

In an ancestral house, located right on the shoreline of the sea in Sainte-Flavie. Charming country apartment for 2 people, very spacious.
The exterior was refurbished in 2021 and the house is now RED. The interior of the home was renovated in 2017. Beach access and BBQ on site. 3 km from downtown Sainte-Flavie, 5 km from Mont-Joli and 30 minutes' drive from Rimouski town. The cleaning is done by a cleaning company.
The space
This apartment occupies the GROUND FLOOR of an ancestral home. And there will probably be neighbors on the 2nd floor.
High speed internet available on-site.
The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is VERY LARGE. All floors were renovated in 2017. The walls are made with small wooden boards, which contributes to the country character of the house. The bedroom is large and has a laptop workspace. There's a wood-burning stove in the living room. And we provide the firewood. The bathroom was renovated in 2017. The accommodation is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave oven, tea maker, iron, dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. Bedding is provided as well as to towels and towels in the bathroom.
Cleaning is done by a cleaning company at a cost of $110.
The land is accessible to guests and the beach is at a distance of 15 meters behind the house. A descent makes it easy to get in. A BBQ is available outside, as well as picnic tables and chairs near the fishmonger. You are welcome to use them.
**Please note that since the house is over 100 years old, the soundproofing is a little outdated. There may be guests on the 2nd floor. And you may hear noise coming from the 2nd floor. In addition, you will hear noise from large road vehicles running on Route 132.**
The roof, windows, exterior insulation, and exterior cladding were renovated during fall 2021 and the house is now RED IN COLOR.
For spices we provide salt and pepper.
Guest access
Ground floor of the house: Access is BACK through the north entrance (on the sea side).
The key is in a box that will hang on the handle of the front door. The code to open the box will be sent to you a few days before your arrival.
The entrance that is ahead, on the south side (next to the road), is reserved for guests who rent on the 2nd floor.
Other things to note
*pets = a one-time fee of $25 extra for the stay;
**when checking out, the premises must be clean and the dishes must be washed. Otherwise a $25 fee will be charged.
***Please note that since the house is over 100 years old, the soundproofing is a bit poor. And you might have other travelers on the 2nd floor, so respect their need for peace and quiet. And you will hear the noise of vehicles traveling on Route 132.

We are located on the river side, the beach is your backyard. You have your private entrance and a balcony on the side of the sea, to have a cocktail or breakfast. A dream location where you can relax! Lots of activity: hiking, vineyard, submarine, Jardin de Métis, Mont-Comi (ski). We are directly on the arts route, so there are many galleries nearby. Your accommodation is on 2 floors, on the second floor is the master bedroom with full ensuite bathroom, you have gables on the street and gables on the sea. On the ground floor you have a very comfortable living room with a pull-out bed (2 single beds) and in the kitchen is a sofa bed (single). The kitchen is friendly with the accessories you need. The bathroom including shower-bath is in the master bedroom which is on the 2nd floor, so it must be shared with your friends or family who sleep in your apartment, however on the ground floor there is a shower room (toiletilet) and a laundry room (washer-dryer). You have your private balcony. During the summer period, there is a charcoal briquette BBQ (you must bring your briquettes) and picnic tables that are available to all apartment guests. There are sidewalks for pedestrians on our street and the beach runs along the street, so you can also walk on the beach to get from one place to another. Some ride on the beach on a bicycle with big wheels.
