A luxurious loft space with skylights above and opposite the Queen bed , showing mountains or stars, a deep Victorian bath, and a kitchenette with bar fridge and microwave. Down the external staircase you have exclusive use of an enclosed courtyard with outside shower and barbecue area.
We do not let out the house below you to someone else but we do use it as an art studio.

The space
On the Heritage Walk, and in easy walking distance of the art galleries, antiques shops, and a variety of restaurants. You can set out on several good hikes right from the house, short or long, including to the famed Hot Springs or the waterfall. Bring your bike and ride one of the many marked cycle routes in the surrounding mountains and valleys. Then sit in the shady courtyard after a long hot or cold outdoor shower (depending on the season), under the leafy pepper tree or night sky ... A place to rest, a central base, sheltered from the town.

Caroline or Lucy will meet you at the guest house and help you get settled. You have your own off-road parking behind an electric gate, and access to the loft is up an open steel staircase from the private exclusive-use courtyard.

Other things to note
We are currently following the AirBnB recommendations for sanitising and airing the loft between guests, on top of our cleaning routine. The rooms have hand sanitiser, masks are available on request, and we do routine temperature checks before entering the premises or greeting guests.
Outside the town there are road works in progress so the traffic going past is currently regulated by Stop/Go lulls and busy patches.
