Grande Plaisir (protea) is the perfect small home with a beautiful garden. Enjoy the pool and braai area with your eye on the splendid mountain views. Around the pool, you'll find pool chairs, umbrellas, pool towels and a wonderful dining area in the shade. The apartment caters for 1 couple. The apartment has a comfortable living room, with tv and a fireplace and open plan kitchen. Everything you'll need, you'll find here. From a bottle of local wine, a garlic crusher to tinfoil.
The bedroom has air-conditioning, is spacious and lovely decorated with our national flower, the Protea.
We have Egyptian cotton on the queen size bed, with a homemade quilt made by Marlicia.

Located centrally in the Winelands of the Western Cape, the Golf Estate is the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday. The focal point of the resort is the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course as well as the breathtaking mountains that surround the resort. The club house is an architectural master piece and offers many facilities for non golfers too. It has immaculate change rooms, a modern gym and a restaurant with a large patio. The bar serves anything from cocktails to the wine for which this region is renowned for. A day spa offers a variety of treatments.

The golf lodges at the Golf Estate are located around beautiful, interconnected dams with views of the surrounding mountains. This Golf Estate is one of the top holiday resorts in South Africa for golfers and non-golf playing guests. The secure estate has won numerous awards and has walking, running and cycling tracks. A 42km mountainbike trail has been built with some really enjoyable single tracks. There is a swimming pool with a poolside bar area and the children’s splash pool has water slides to entertain the kids. Next to the club house are two tennis courts and cricket batting nets and on the outskirts of the estate is an equestrian estate.

- Hiking – the mountainous surroundings have some breathtaking (both visually and physically) hiking trails. Paarl mountain is one of the more popular destinations, with its 360° panorama views on top of the famous granite dome.
- Cycling – both road and mtb cyclists can cycle along some of the most scenic roads and trials. Numerous organised events both on and off road are held in this area.
- Canoeing – the crystal clear Berg River forms one of Pearl Valleys boundaries and only a few kilometres downstream sees the start of the annual Berg River canoe marathon.

The Golf Estate is located in the Winelands of Cape Town, between Paarl and Franschhoek. This region of the Western Cape is home to many of the well known wine estates as well as award winning restaurants. The estate is a mere 65 km from the V&A Water Front in Cape Town and 55 km from the Cape Town International Airport.

The simplest route from the airport, is to travel on the N2 towards Somerset West. After approximately 5 km keep left and turn onto the R300 in the direction of Bellville/Paarl. A further 10 km later this freeway merges with the N1 north. Keep driving for approximately 30 km in the direction of Paarl then take the off-ramp onto the R301. Turn towards Franschhoek, after 10 km the estate will be on the right.

To travel to Cape Town is very similar. After leaving the golf estate, turnleft into Wemmershoek Road (in direction of Paarl). After 10 km turn left onto the N1 and then continue along the freeway for 55 km which continues into central Cape Town.

There is one step up the pathway to the Entrance of the Suite. The patio affords Guests a Magnificent view across the Manor House Garden and a Mountain Vista.

Free Wi-Fi is available to Guests throughout the Common Ground. Being Rural, we have ADSL Wi-Fi.

This is an ideal, Affordable, Studio-Style Suite, in the Heart of the Cape Winelands.

The space
Bellingham Homestead is a Serene, Spacious and Privately owned Venue, set within a separate, Privately Owned working Vineyard.
To that end, we request that Guests who wish to take walks use only the Ring Road (this will be explained to Guests on Check-In) and the Route between the Homestead and the Security Gate, for walks.
The area is also outlined on the Guest Information Sheet in each Suite and Cottage.
Walking in and through the Vineyards is strictly Out of Bounds, however walking the 1.2km Ring Road which encircles Bellingham Homestead, is permitted.
We do have a number of spaces throughout the Garden for Guests to relax in to read, Bird Watch or to simply sit and spend time together.

Guest access
Guests have full use of the Studio Suite, that is Four Poster Suite, for their Exclusive Use.
There is one step up the pathway to access Four Poster Suite.

Other things to note
All Adult Guests will be required to provide a copy of their ID in the form of a Valid Passport, ID Book, ID Card or Driver's Licence.
The Copy must be clear and legible.
Were an ID Card or Drivers Licence is provided - please ensure that BOTH sides of the Card are sent to us.
Guests will also be required to complete COVID19 Health forms and Guest Registration ahead of their stay with us, these will be emailed to You.
COVID19 Health forms are to be completed by each Guest 16 years and older in age.

This beautiful, two bedroom, top floor apartment is comfortable and quirky and just minutes on foot from the Franschhoek high street. Situated in the "Le Bourgette" gated development it is furnished to a high standard including Electrical Inverter, SMART TV with DSTV and designated parking. The apartment has all amenities required for a relaxing stay. The second bedroom can be configured to either two singles or one queen bed. Bedding will be supplied as per the number of people booked.

The space
From a small staircase the front door opens up onto a fully equipped covered patio with amazing views to the surrounding mountains. The patio has a comfortable sofa, table and Webber brai for lazy evenings with a glass of wine. Straight off the patio through double doors is the comfortable lounge area with large sofa and flat screen TV with a full satellite TV subscription ensuring a constant supply of TV programmes, movies and live sport. The recently installed inverter system will keep the lights, TV and WiFi all running during load shedding.T he spacious open plan kitchen / diner boasts a large dining table and the kitchen itself is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine / dryer etc. We have also added a Nespresso machines for those that love their coffee in the morning. Off of the main living area is a small corridor leading to the two bedrooms. In the corridor is the communal bathroom which also serves bedroom two. Bedroom one has it's own on suite bathroom complete with a tub and standalone shower. The master bedroom houses the king bed and has plenty of storage with its built in wardrobes. The second bedroom comes with two single beds, again boasting plenty of storage with its built in wardrobes.
Located within a gated apartment complex security is well taken care of.

Other things to note
Check in is at 4pm, check out is at 10am. This is to allow us enough time for same day changeovers, however, we can be flexible on these times dependant on how busy the apartment is.
