- "Hosts couldn't do enough for us..keot us safe by telling us how to travel and cheapest way..we travelled to Glasgow. They were at the end of the phone if needed..they even picked us up shopping to save us carrying. We had a nice relaxing holiday..would definitely do it again" - "We didn’t initially notice but the filth became evident the longer you were there. Bathroom has dog hairs and dust in very corner and surface. Kitchen also had dog hair, dust and crumbs on the ground. All the glassware was filthy and stained. Fridge had moldy food. Bread bin, also filthy with old bread crumbs. Couldn’t even clean them because even the sponges were old, dried and dirty! Main bedroom, carpets have not been vacuumed, dust and hair everywhere. The rug has dried food or saliva? The bedside table, more hair and dried in dirt, upon opening a drawer, dried up food. Worst of all, the sheets looked, felt and smelt dirty, covered in dog hair, human hair and other particles. I have no doubt the sheets were not clean, could not smell any kind of softener/soap/cleaner. Due to the conditions we had to leave for fear that the bed may even have bedbugs."

Recently refurbished 3 bed first floor apartment situated in the centre of Wishaw.
Close to local shops, bars, restaurants and amenities. Only a 5 minute drive from the University Hospital and 10 minute walk from the train station.
The two larger bedrooms each have super king zip and link beds that can be made into singles, and the smaller room has one single bed. All rooms have wall mounted TV's.
Free on street parking is available outside the property.

- "Overall it was fine with the space available in the unit and all but there’s a few things that I believe could’ve been better:- they had a mini iron with a mini ironing board that didn’t stand straight and no real place you could stand it without it falling over every 2 seconds, that was really annoying- the mattresses were non-existent for the most part, they have been used so much that once you laid on them or even sat the springs would poke. For all the beds in the house it was the same, really need to replace those.Other than that, location was accessible to nearby retail park etc so that was fine, the steps and all had trash on the sides and no one had really cleaned that up so walking up to the unit it scares you how clean it will be but the inside was doable. WiFi and entertainment worked fine so no issues thereKitchen amenities from the kettle we used mostly was fine as wellBathroom and shower was good as wellJf they would replace the mattresses I think we might rent again if we are in the area since overall everything else worked out for us."

beautiful modern,stylish entire apartment A lovely Modern Property close to Motherwell Town Centre in a quiet development which offers a great base for guests, whether travelling for business or leisure. Lots of places to eat in the town centre. With Strathclyde theme Country Park on our doorstep for adults and children lots to do there and easy access for public transport, railway station round the corner from the apartment and motorway links, it is easy to explore further afield.

The Ferns is a newly decorated, bright, ground floor self catering apartment in the heart of the Irvine Valley. Featuring an open living plan area with fully equipped kitchen and tv with Roku stick, a large double bedroom with reading nook and dedicated workspace area, a laundry room with washing machine, a bright, fresh bathroom with electric shower and a shared garden to the rear. Off street parking for one car is also available. Max 2 well behaved pets welcome.
THE SPACE:
The Ferns has been fully renovated and is a bright, airy apartment despite it's size. The open plan living area spans the full width of the front of the property and the bedroom spans the full width at the rear. Nestled in the middle is the hallway which leads to the bathroom and to the laundry room.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. There is a range of pots, pans, baking trays, utensils, cutlery, crockery and glassware to cover most needs.
LIVING AREA:
The living area has a 32 inch tv equipped with a Roku stick so you can watch all your usual streaming subscriptions (you will need your own streaming accounts) or you can watch the inbuilt freeview channels. There are blankets to snuggle up in if you fancy a cosy movie evening and a sideboard houses a few fun games you are welcome to play along with a bluetooth speaker.
There's a fold down table and 2 stools where you can enjoy your own home cooked meals with perhaps a nice glass of chilled wine.
HEATING:
The apartment is heated by gas central heating and via a Nest thermostat which is located in the lounge area so you can be in control of the temperature of the apartment. Fibre broadband means that streaming movies, music or games is a breeze.
BEDROOM:
Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in the spacious bedroom which overlooks the rear garden. The double bed is equipped with a 1000 pocket sprung encapsulated foam top mattress and 600 thread count Egyptian Cotton bedding. Extra pillows are stored in the ottoman and thermal blackout curtains ensure you wont be woken up by the sunshine. A nightstand at either side of the bed is provided along with some hot water bottles, phone chargers and a hairdryer. There are bedside lamps and mood lighting strips if you enjoy relaxing in bed with a book. A double wardrobe with hangers and drawers gives you somewhere to store your clothing and a large 8ft x 4ft mirror throws light around the room. There's a reading nook with comfortable chair, footstool and a few good books to get you started along with a foldaway desk, chair and some basic stationary if you need to do any last minute work.
BEDROOM:
The bathroom is located in the centre of the apartment and has an electric shower and ample shelving for your own toiletries. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided along with bath towels, hand towels and face cloths. A separate laundry room houses a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner as well as somewhere to hang your coats and store muddy shoes.
GARDEN:
The garden is to the rear of the property and has a washing line you are welcome to use, a little peace garden under the bedroom window you can use for reflection and a lawn to the rear along with a small bistro seating set. Please note that the garden is shared with the apartment upstairs.
PARKING:
There is ample on-street parking available outside the apartment but if you prefer, parking is available at the bottom of the driveway next door. This driveway is owned by my dad. Access is needed to the building at the top of the driveway so please park tucked in to the gable end of the little white house at the front as much as possible so that access is still available for cars driving up to the building at the top.
PETS:
Well behaved pets permitted by request. Please note that no pet care items are provided at the apartment so please bring your pet's own bedding, towels and bowls. You are welcome to use the garden for dogs but please be aware that the garden is shared with the apartment upstairs who owns a cat. If bringing pets, please be mindful of the cat potentially being outside before letting any pets run loose as she is very frightened of dogs. If she is outside then the door of the apartment upstairs will be wide open for her to run back inside. So it's nice and easy to know if she's around or not! Please be considerate and pick up any dog toilet mess.
Unfortunately the apartment is unsuitable for very small children who may spill things.
GUEST ACCESS:
The entire apartment is yours for the duration of your stay with self check in via a smart lock. The communal entryway from the street to the apartment front door is shared access with the flat upstairs as is the rear garden.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Please note that the apartment is situated on the main road of the village. A video doorbell is located on the outside door of the apartment. There are no security cameras or listening devices (Alexa/Google Home) located inside the apartment.

Boasting gorgeous views of the park, large dining balcony, central location, huge living/dining area with pool table and bar, this six bedroom (10 person) apartment makes for a wonderfully relaxing holiday stay. It is located in the historic market town of Strathaven, South Lanarkshire. The town was granted a Royal Charter in 1450 and is located on the edge of the strath of the Avon Water. It's around 18 miles from Glasgow and on the A71, which connects to Edinburgh.
The space
Entrance:
The entrance to the apartment is at the side of the building just to the rear of the large bike shed (which is for exclusive use of guests and can store up to 6 bikes). The entrance porch is a large area with hanging and organising space for many jackets, shoes and even several more bikes.
Living Area and Kitchen:
The very large living space incorporates dining area to seat 10, very large L-shaped sofa, bar area and pool table area. There is a large covered balcony area adjacent to the living area, with seating for 10. The kitchen is ex-commercial and so very spacious and well-stocked with open stainless steel units that make it easy to see where everything is. The kitchen area includes a large walk-in larder and also a foosball table area. There is also a W.C. on the ground floor.
First Floor:
Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, and a laundry room with washing machine and separate tumble drier. Two bedrooms have kingsize beds, one has a shower and the other a bath. Two rooms have single beds with trundle beds underneath to form twin rooms if required. Two further bedrooms are single rooms.

Guests have exclusive use of the 6-bedroom apartment including balcony overlooking Strathaven park and sole use of the side entrance to the property.
The lawn area is not for use by guests, to protect the privacy of basement flat occupants, but guests are free to access the park through the garden gate which is overlooked by the balcony. The park offers a huge area for children to play in and explore.
