- "We booked this room for a Monday and Wednesday night. When we arrived we realized that the room was not even close to what was advertised. We were very disappointed with the quality of the room and told the host later that evening that we wanted to cancel our second night. Even though the ad said that there were free cancellations we were told that he would have to find another renter in order to refund our money. He later said he was unable to find another and we need to talk to Expedia to get our refund. We are unable to find a way to discuss this with Expedia."

Located just steps away from your apartment, you can access Cobalt Lake to enjoy swimming in the summer or winter activities, small local shops/boutiques, museums and a beach area.

In the winter there is so much to do in the area as you are in the boreal forest such as ice fishing snowmobiling, ski trails and more.

You are right in the middle of the Boreal Forest where nature is at your doorstep - Whatever you are in the mood for our area has to offer: hiking, skiing, swimming, canoeing, fishing, site seeing and more.

There's many local shops and grocery stores minutes away in Cobalt or a short 15 minute drive to Haileybury. You can also stop on the way to the apartment if you are visiting for a short while in North Bay where there is various stores, grocery stores, restaurants, fast food.

We suggest you have a vehicle or quad to get around as you are in rural Ontario.

This is a no smoking space - if there is smell of smoke in the apartment, the $500 fee will be charged.

Please let us know if you are bringing a pet during your stay as an additional $50/pet fee will be charged. Please pick up after your pet outside.

- "This apartment is in a really bad area of town. The apartment itself is okay, nothing special there is no air conditioning so you need to open all the windows. The 3 windows in the front of the apartment were broken with the screens cut out. Therefore in order to have the apartment not be grossly hot we would have to prop the windows open and have the bugs come in. The back windows do not have curtains so anyone could creep in at night. We were not happy with the broken windows and contacted the owner who said she would refund us. After getting off the phone she decided she would only partially refund us, we asked for the entire thing back since the apartment wasn’t up to standards with broken windows. She refused and stopped talking to me."
