Linda has enjoyed growing a small vegetable garden and many of the plants are grown from seed and then moved to the greenhouse until ready for trans-planting.

This second floor apartments are part of a triplex. Linda and her husband Fred live below . The living and dining room are a good size; the kitchen layout is sometimes referred to as a "galley kitchen" - sink, stove and fridge are on one side, the other is the cabinets and counter. The master bedroom's entry is off the kitchen, the front bedroom off the living room.

Guest access
Guests will have complete access to the deck, the apartment and the adjacent laundry room. If they wish to explore the 12 acres, directions will be given as to access and route to follow.

Located four km from the village of Orrville, 24 km from Parry Sound (Georgian Bay). There is a bicycle route from Orrville to Parry Sound alongside Hwy. 518. The Seguin Trail is accessible approx. 3 km away. Depending on the season - hiking, biking, ATV or snowmobiling.

The small front room is a home office space. There is one bedroom with double bed, dresser and chest of drawers, plus closet.

Both units have access to the 12 + acres of property from their decks with a small stream and pond just feet from their doors. Guests have use of the entrance hall and the laundry room.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for touring Parry Sound, visiting with family for special events, and as a stopover for traveling. Beautiful, clean home with full privacy in your suite. which is in the lower basement level of the bungalow. Stairs are involved. Comfy queen bed, spacious private bathroom with rainhead shower and large sitting room with 50" TV with cable.

The entrance is through the main front door, and there is access to the outside sitting area deck also available in the summertime. We have strict cleaning protocols between guests. there is a workout area with a weight machine, free weights, a stationary bike, yoga mat, and a workbench. your 3-piece bath is private for your use only. All linens, towels, and toilet paper are supplied. There are yogurts, breakfast cereals, coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied. There is a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig machine, glasses, wine glasses, plates, bowls, and cutlery supplied. Space does not include use of host's personal kitchen.

Entrance is through common area used by hosts as well. Parking available in the long driveway in front of the home and can easily accommodate guest vehicles.

We are a pet-free zone, so no allergy concerns. The town of Parry Sound is criss-crossed with railroad tracks and trains run regularly through and can be heard from our home both day and night... in fact, there's not a home in town that can't hear the trains! It's just a fact of life in this small town.
There is ample room to park two cars in the driveway - please park on the right side of the drive, but do take care to stay off the grass as there is an inground sprinkler system.
We do have a security video system focused on the outside of the front door and the back door. There are no other devices within the household.

The space
The apartment is a charming and vintage space, located at the back of split house, with an office space located at the front during the day. On entry there is a sitting/reading area as well as washer and dryer. A large, full bathroom with tub and shower, toilet, sink and vanity. The apartment has a full kitchen with electric stove and oven, fridge, microwave and plenty of cupboard space with a fully stocked kitchen. Off the kitchen is a dinette that seats 2-4. The first bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, is off of this dining area, and separated by classic French door. In the upper loft area you will find the second queen bed with bachelor style living space, sofa, reading area, smart tv and dedicated work space.
It is air conditioned, as well as two oscillating fans provided, if needed. A separate closet with hanging space is off the loft. There is a privacy door that separates the upstairs from downstairs. The stairs to the loft are a bit steep-part if that era’s charm and the older homes from Parry Sound. Please be advised, likely not suitable for someone with mobility issues.
For your outdoor pleasure there is propane bbq and a sitting deck with bistro set.

It is an older home with lots of old town Parry sound uniqueness. Newly renovated to give it a modern feel, without losing its character. The stairs are a little sleep so not really ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, super comfy space and great location
