The apartment is brand new, build and furnished to meet the highest standards, stainless steel appliances, washer and drier, Queen size bed and high end mattress. Despite being located on the main street, the apartment is facing the back yard with incredibly beautiful view and is very quiet. Large private deck allows you to relax and watch the birds and the squirrels chasing each other on the beautiful pine tree in front of you.

The guests can use BBQ and the large back yard all the way down to our creek.

I think that it should be mentioned that not only we take cleaning and disinfecting the place very seriously, but also that each apartment is self contained and doesn't have any air exchange with the others. The heating is not by furnace and air ducts in which case the same air circulates everywhere in the house. The heating is by modern hot water aluminum radiators separately for each apartment . The cooling is also by AC for each individual unit.

Beautiful Studio atop a century home. Climb the cast iron stairs to the top of the home and overlook our quiet neighbourhood. It's a birds eye view. Newly renovated studio apartment is the perfect space if you are visiting Orillia. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a keurig machine with plenty of coffee to start the day. A full kitchen and bathroom as well as a fridge, stove and microwave. No need to worry about linens or towels, we provide it all. Only Available for 28 days or longer.

Capacity:
With effect from January 1, 2024, only 2 people can be in this space between 10 pm and 7 am, in line with the new regulation by the City of Orillia.

Taxation:
My prices include a 13% sales tax, which can be deducted from your sales tax payable. I can provide my HST number when needed.

This apartment can sleep up to 4 when the living room couch is turned into a sofa bed. Make sure your reservation includes the correct number of people, and linens will be provided for the second bed.

Fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, microwave, toaster oven, drip & Keurig coffee makers, and kettle. Use the tables & stools as an eat-in kitchen, a makeshift office, or simply an extra prep space. We are happy to loan you extra kitchen equipment if you love to cook as much as we do.

The apartment is heated by two natural gas furnaces that keep the apartment warm and cozy in spring, fall and winter. In the summer, there is an AC unit installed in the living room to keep things cool (this apartment is already normally very pleasant, with very limited direct sun).

ENTERTAINMENT

Unlimited high-speed Internet. We have a Roku device so you can use our Netflix, or add your own subscriptions (Amazon Prime, Apple, Crave, Disney+, Paramount+, etc.).

LOCATION

As of 2025, Airbnb has us automatically listed in their "lake" category. Please note we are across the street from Lake Couchiching and not directly on the lake.

You have dedicated access and use of the entire apartment. In nice weather, you can also enjoy meals al fresco on your private outdoor patio!

Access to the backyard is limited to our personal use as we live on-site and have a young son.
