It was spacious, convenient and had everything we needed." - "Yes, it's in Villeurbanne - a stone's throw from the 6th Arr. - but with the T1 & T4 tram literally outside your door getting around Lyon via tram or metro connections was so easy. It was wonderful to get back after a long day and open the door to a spacious living/dining room area, open the balcony door for fresh air and view the tree tops. A plus was the TV which worked with our ROKU. The complex was quiet. The beds were comfortable and both rooms had blackout curtains and plenty of closet/storage space. We were there for 9 nights so it was nice to have a kitchen for breakfast or late night snacks. We had to buy paper towels, napkins and tissues. Note that the shower room has a vanity, however, the toilet is in a completely separate room near the kitchen. Bring your own soap & shampoo if you don't like using the dispensers provided. The bedside lamps are not meant for reading in case you like to read in bed at night. We highly recommend Divan the Turkish restaurant directly across the street. Our first night we had a fabulous meal there. Followed by a great late night pizza. The T4 takes you quickly to Part Deux train station which was so convenient for our day trips outside of Lyon. We walked through the Tete d'Or park one evening - the lovely botanical garden was right there - to get to our restaurant in Foch. - "This apartment is clean, well maintained, comfortable and charming. The kitchen is very well supplied with dish ware and cookware. It is quiet and felt safe, though the 4 locks on the door gave me pause. The linens and bed were comfortable, and the towels were thick and nice. The pillows are a little flat for some people. No shower curtain like most places, so the floor gets a little wet. A drying rack for laundry would be nice as there is a washing machine. It is close to transit options and restaurants are not far. There is a natural grocery a block away as well as a pharmacy across the street. If you can handle the many stairs, it is definitely a great place to stay! "

- "We loved our stay at Luxezen apartment in Lyon. It was our first visit to Lyon and it is a truly beautiful city. The apartment was just perfect! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and there are plenty of nearby options to eat out. The flat is spacious and well appointed. The options to have a shower or a spa bath was pure luxury. There is an easy access to the underground metro (5 minutes walk ) and 15 minutes walk to our favourite "Les Halles" and major shopping at La Gallery Lafayette. Cinema were less than 10 minutes walk. Clement was very responsive to our enquiries. Luxezen is highly recommended for a great time in Lyon."

- "This studio is priced well for what it offers. It is clean, quiet, and if you lean out the window you can see the mountains. It is also a fourth-floor walkup in a residential neighborhood, with the advantages and disadvantages that brings. On the corner there are a green-grocer, a bakery, a laundromat, and a "tacos" [North Americans would call them burritos] and doner place, as well as a subway and a bus station. The Velo'v bike rentals are two blocks away (in two directions). There is nothing of touristic interest, and pretty much everything closes by 9 PM or so, so if you're planning tourism or nightlife, the Metro or bikes will be your friend. The apartment has everything you need -- pull up and towards you hard on the front of the frame to unfold the futon into a surprisingly comfortable bed."
