Then the smoke alarm started to beep so we had to take it off the wall. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen are broken. The suite is at ground floor level with its own private entrance, driveway, parking and yard to enjoy. Fridge and microwave were useful and included little extras like plates/bowls/plastic utensils. I’m not a coffee drinker, so was happy to see tea included with coffee supplies. Within minutes of beautiful views of the Chugach Mountain Range and a cozy fire pit to enjoy the land of the midnight sun all year round with no neighbors in sight! This apartment comfortably sleeps 4 with a king size bed in the bedroom as well as a futon in the living room area. Enjoy use of a washer and dryer, a full kitchen as well as a full bathroom. Located in half of our lightly used shop, you don’t have to worry about people or noise during your stay! We do have some baby items if requested.

This apartment has amazing panoramic views of the Chugach mountain range. It’s a quiet location on a peaceful woodsy lot, yet conveniently five minutes from the center of Wasilla with quick access to restaurants, shopping centers and highway access.
In the two bedrooms are a queen and single bed, therefore, most comfortably suited for three guests but could accommodate a fourth on the couch or air mattress on request.
Washer and drier are located in the apartment with fragrance-free detergent provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and drip coffee pot.
Apartment has private, upstairs entrance. Plenty of parking.
We have occasional visits from moose passing through the yard and regular visits from the neighborhood bald eagle in our tallest backyard tree, and chickens in the coop.

We are one of the few with a PAVED DRIVEWAY! (Another rarity in Alaska.) There are a few rock steps that lead from the paved driveway to the paved walkway … directly to the private entrance of The Wolf’s Den. A hi-tech Wi-Fi lock and keypad allow access to the Executive Suite with a custom code sent prior to check-in.

Parking spaces are available directly in front of the walkway. We have lots of room for parking.

The Wolf’s Den is completely separate from the upper levels of the house. The main den, office area, dining area, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom are all private!

A very nice front-loading washer and dryer set on the same level are available for use upon request. Just ask!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would. My kids loved exploring outside and the "kids" cave area. I loved having a cup of coffee with my husband while overlooking the lake. Our location is rural and woodsy. We receive regular visits from the neighborhood bald eagle in the backyard tree and an occasional moose passing through the yard. The hens usually stay in their coop :) but like to lay extra eggs to gift to guests!

The tiny home boasts custom finishes including loft cable railing, pine and aspen interior trim, quartz countertops, high end cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, heated towel rack, and an all-in-one space saving washer/dryer. Tremendous thought and consideration was taken to make the indoor space feel welcoming and warm. Plush pillows and soft floor coverings add a cozy touch. Large picturesque windows invite the beauty of nature into the space, making it feel expansive. Remote control operated blackout shades are provided for your privacy and for those amazing sunny days in the summer.

The bedroom space is lofted and accessible by a beautifully handcrafted stepladder. Waking up here to enjoy the views of the small lake and mountain range from the loft brings peace and comfort to your soul. Manufacture recommendations limit the loft ladder to 250 pounds.

The loft offers a high end queen size mattresses, equipped with high quality linens and a water proof mattress protector.

If your not comfortable climbing the ladder, our couch in the main living area pulls out to a full size hide-abed. The full-size mattress features a memory foam type mattress with comfy mattress cover to ensure a great nights sleep.

Enjoy the evening watching our 32" Smart TV (Netflix streaming included) while accessing your own accounts (Hulu, HBO, ESPN, etc ).

The kitchen is mini but mighty; we provide all the essentials to cook a lovely meal during your stay. It’s fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, blender, chopping boards, measuring cups, baking dishes, pots and pans, blender, skillet, basic spices, and cutlery set.

For the coffee lovers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it be a flavored cup of Keurig coffee, hot chocolate, and an assortment of teas. Our compliments to you!

Towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided for your convenience! Not to mention we've added in soft and comfy robes to make the walk to and from the hot tub an enjoyable experience. Plan ahead and put your towels on the heated towel rack and you'll be sure to love wrapping up in warmth. We are taking extra precautions to protect you and your family. Our cleaning team sanitize all the high touch areas such as door knobs, light and lamp switches, remotes, counter and furniture tops, etc.

Easy to access the dwelling through self-check in. Details for access are provided prior to your arrival. You have access to the entire cabin, decking, hot tub along with access to the private lake/pond, dock and upon request; kayaks. The small lake is a shallow body of water with no fish. We provide life jackets and will give basic instruction with using the kayaks as requested.

The home itself is located near the parent home property, down a separate private driveway. Entry to the home does requires going up a flight of wooden stairs, with stairs entering both sides of the home to access the parking area or hot tub decking. This listing is NOT handicap accessible.

We enjoy talking with our guests! We have tremendous knowledge of the area, including tips and recommendations for fishing, hiking, berry picking, biking and more! We want to make your Alaskan experience very enjoyable!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier!

This unit is a smaller studio attached to our main home. There is a queen size Murphy bed that can be put up if you’d like more space during the day. There is a loveseat couch with a twin pull out bed, best suited for children or smaller adults. Small kitchenette with a small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, toaster oven (available upon request) and Keurig coffee maker.

Coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks included

There is also a TV with a Roku. If you log in to any of your personal streaming apps don’t forget to log out when you leave! We have Netflix and Hulu for you to use, just please make sure you use the Airbnb profile, not ours. Thanks!

The entrance is up the stairs on the right side of the house/garage. There are two parking spaces off to the side in the trees, look for the sign. Please do not park in front of the stairs to the Airbnb, right next to it, or in front of the gate to the backyard.

Other things to note
We have a very friendly dog you may run in to in the front yard at times if we are taking her out. She loves to say hi and runs right up to new people for pets. You may also see her through the gate and she would love it if you said hi to her. Her name is Shyla.

Please make sure to turn off interior lights when you are not present and when you check out.

If you have small children please be mindful that the heater can be hot to the touch when running so keep a close eye on your little ones when near it.

Basic spices and sugar are also provided. We provide a Keurig, with coffee pods and individual creamers. We also provide a moka pot OR a reusable Keurig insert if you choose to bring your favorite ground coffee, instead.

This cozy Alaskan-themed private suite is located in the lower half of a split-level home, down a short flight of stairs. The first bedroom has one queen bed. The larger family bedroom has one full-sized bed and two twin-sized loft beds that can each accommodate up to 250#. There is one full private bathroom. The living space includes fireplace, TV, and free WIFI. The kitchenette includes a breakfast bar/dining area, cook-top, microwave, mini-fridge, k-cup coffee maker with complementary tea and coffee bar. Laundry area is also available.
The dogs play in a large area fenced around the house where they may peek in your windows.
I also have a 2016 Jeep Renegade with manual 6-speed transmission available for rent at $50/day for guests. Let me know if you are interested and I will have it fueled up for you!

My four well-mannered Alaskan malamutes reside on the premise. They are working dogs and not just house pets. All of these dogs are AKC/UKC champion or grand champion show dogs, AKC Canine Good Citizen certified, and AKC Temperament Test certified. They also have trick dog, agility, and dog mushing titles! We were 2022 and 2023 Iron Paws mushing challenge bronze medalist, a 2024 Iron Paws silver medalist in the pentathlon division, and gold medalist in the 2025 Iron Paws fatbike division!!!

Dog feeding time here is twice a day and is always a chorus of howling.

Furnished with a comfortable traditional queen bed that 100% of our past guests have commented on their ability to get amazing rest. The sofa bed has a comfortable mattress that surprises guests with comfort and a great night sleep. Soft Berkshire blankets complete the cozy sleep experience.

The kitchen contains essentials to prepare meals, a 4-cup coffee maker, an electric kettle, full-size refrigerator with freezer, and towels.

The large spacious private bathroom has a large walk-in shower, vanity, washer/dryer, towels, and washcloths.

The large bedroom hosts a walk-in closet and an exterior door with a view of the pasture. Sheets are provided. This room was previously converted into a classroom space and the bed was in the livingroom as pictured.

The spacious living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa, recliner, television, bookcase, and wool area rug.

Guests enjoy the option to interact with the dwarf goats, horses, or chickens. Guest pets must be controlled at all times to protect the livestock that live here. There is a farm dog on site that is unrestrained. Livestock graze the entire property.

I receive many compliments from guests on the atmosphere and security they feel. There is a gate on the driveway that must be manually opened and closed. The gate keeps critters in and unwanted guests out.

Snow removal is provided for the common drive areas. You are responsible for removing snow off your porch, steps, and vehicle. I use a 5 foot snowblower to clear the drive areas.

Note that the pictures are of this unit, however, the bed is pictured in the living room area from when the bedroom was set up as a meeting room. The suite is converted back to a traditional apartment in October 2024. placing the bed inside the bedroom/meeting room.

Guest access
Guests have private entrance access to the apartment. It is part of an owner occupied tri-plex.

Guests are free to come and go without contacting others within the apartment.

This is a gated 5-acre property that guests can feel very safe on as they enjoy the farm environment.

If you love the outdoors, Seymour Lake is considered the best in the valley for Rainbow Trout. Trophy-sized catches happen right here! Guests are free to access the lake directly from our driveway / ramp. Other activities: swimming, boating, hunting in nearby hotspots, ice fishing, cross country skiing, and more! Let us know if you’d like any excursion recommendations.

There are several great restaurants in the valley! Ask us for our suggestions.

We love pets! However, sorry, no pets (or smoking/vaping) allowed indoors.

Guest access
We are one of the few with a PAVED DRIVEWAY! (Another rarity in Alaska.) There are a few rock steps that lead from the paved driveway to the paved walkway … directly to the private entrance of The Wolf’s Den. A hi-tech Wi-Fi lock and keypad allow access to the Executive Suite with a custom code sent prior to check-in.

Parking spaces are available directly in front of the walkway. We have lots of room for parking.

The Wolf’s Den is completely separate from the upper levels of the house. The main den, office area, dining area, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom are all private!

A very nice front-loading washer and dryer set on the same level are available for use upon request. Just ask!

Queen-size air mattress available for use upon request.

WE ARE PHOTOGRAPHERS! Several of our own prints are on display around The Wolf’s Den. Enjoy them and let us know if you’d be interested in any for yourself! Prints (canvas, metal, glass, etc) can be shipped practically anywhere.

It has three separate bedrooms along with a futon couch in the living room if you need an additional sleeping option. you can access lake and dock/lawn chairs and fireplace out your front sliding glass door. In the summer, there is three kayaks available for use and fishing equipment as well. Enjoy
