Then the smoke alarm started to beep so we had to take it off the wall. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen are broken. Fridge and microwave were useful and included little extras like plates/bowls/plastic utensils. I’m not a coffee drinker, so was happy to see tea included with coffee supplies. Within minutes of beautiful views of the Chugach Mountain Range and a cozy fire pit to enjoy the land of the midnight sun all year round with no neighbors in sight! This apartment comfortably sleeps 4 with a king size bed in the bedroom as well as a futon in the living room area. Enjoy use of a washer and dryer, a full kitchen as well as a full bathroom. Located in half of our lightly used shop, you don’t have to worry about people or noise during your stay! We do have some baby items if requested.

This apartment has amazing panoramic views of the Chugach mountain range. It’s a quiet location on a peaceful woodsy lot, yet conveniently five minutes from the center of Wasilla with quick access to restaurants, shopping centers and highway access.
In the two bedrooms are a queen and single bed, therefore, most comfortably suited for three guests but could accommodate a fourth on the couch or air mattress on request.
Washer and drier are located in the apartment with fragrance-free detergent provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and drip coffee pot.
Apartment has private, upstairs entrance. Plenty of parking.
We have occasional visits from moose passing through the yard and regular visits from the neighborhood bald eagle in our tallest backyard tree, and chickens in the coop.

We are one of the few with a PAVED DRIVEWAY! (Another rarity in Alaska.) There are a few rock steps that lead from the paved driveway to the paved walkway … directly to the private entrance of The Wolf’s Den. A hi-tech Wi-Fi lock and keypad allow access to the Executive Suite with a custom code sent prior to check-in.

Parking spaces are available directly in front of the walkway. We have lots of room for parking.

The Wolf’s Den is completely separate from the upper levels of the house. The main den, office area, dining area, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom are all private!

A very nice front-loading washer and dryer set on the same level are available for use upon request. Just ask!

The apartment is nestled around the back of a home on the side of the garage. Only a small part of the upstairs apartment overlaps this apartment, making it a very quiet space. The living space is on the first floor, with one step up and one step down for entry.
The inviting electric fireplace provides extra warmth or just extra ambiance for our many Alaskan nights. The blackout curtains help to get a good night's sleep with the summer's midnight sun.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking with all full-sized appliances and utensils including a dishwasher and a Keurig coffee maker.
The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom with fragrance-free laundry soap provided.
We provide luxury-quality bath towels and bedding for the most comfortable stay possible.
Our location is rural and woodsy. We receive regular visits from the neighborhood bald eagle in the backyard tree and an occasional moose passing through the yard. The hens usually stay in their coop :) but like to lay extra eggs to gift to guests!
