Our apartment features two main rooms and a bathroom.

Bedroom - This main room of this apartment includes a queen size bed, sitting area with couch, Smart TV with Netflix, desk and large closet. Get comfy in soft sheets with plenty of pillows and a warm blanket. You'll be able to dim the light with window shades and blackout curtains.

Kitchen - Make yourself a meal grab a local foodie find to munch on at the table. You'll have access to a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave and toaster. We've also created a coffee and tea station to enjoy your favorite morning beverage.

Bathroom - All the essentials...plus a little extra. The bathroom has a tub with shower, washer and dryer with detergent, fresh and fluffy towels and we'll provide toiletries to make your stay more comfortable.

This is a private apartment just for our guests. You have your own door with a lock and access the entrance through a shared hallway in our home.

Other things to note
Please note: We live on the bottom floor of the home with our toddler and baby. There is a chance you may hear them and we like our guests to be aware of the possibility.

Our property is located one block from train tracks. You may feel a gentle swaying sensation when a train goes by a few times a day.

A roomy, but cozy upstairs loft with den, kitchen, bedroom with new queen bed, and full bath. The futon couch in the den can be made into a full size bed. Guest wifi and television with cable included. Shared entrance with homeowner but completely private space with locked door at top of main stairs.

The space
The most common description guests have of our loft is clean, comfortable, and cozy. It could be called "modern rustic." The den and sleeping area is an open design, with a 3/4 wall separating them. The kitchen and bathroom both have doors for privacy--if you are an early riser, go into the kitchen, close the door, and make your coffee and enjoy the view out the kitchen window overlooking the nearby bluffs!

In order to make your extended stay as comfortable as possible, we have provided many amenities in this apartment.
You will have access to a full kitchen with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, stainless steel appliances (full stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator).
The living room has a leather sectional couch, 55in HD TV with Hulu TV (45 cable channels) , Apple TV, and fast free Wifi.
The bathroom is a truly special retreat. It features a cast iron soaker tub, double sinks, and walk in tile shower with glass enclosure. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, epsom salts, and bubble bath.
The bedroom has a nice queen size mattress, high thread count sheets, and fine decorations.
Finally, feel free to use the stacked laundry just off the kitchen. laundry detergent will be provided.

This beautiful main level apartment (NO STAIRS) is located in the heart of downtown Winona MN! In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we have provided many amenities in this apartment.
NOTE: The 2 windows and front door in this suite have frosted privacy glass and are NOT see through. City of Winona mandated that we use privacy glass due to this suite being located on the main level.
NOTE: There is a private/off street parking space located right next to the entrance to the front door of the suite- in front of the windows. It is a good size space that can accommodate most vehicles. X large vehicles like Suburbans, large trucks, etc will not fit entirely on the space and will poke out a bit into the alley. There is a large public parking lot located directly behind the building/across the alley from this suite. If you vehicle is too large, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you with finding a parking space in the lot or other close by parking options.
NOTE: This building and suite are located in the heart of downtown Winona. It is a URBAN AREA with many activities, people living/working/etc in it. If lodging in a URBAN AREA is NOT for you, we do have other options outside of the downtown that may be more to your liking. Please don't hesitate to ask!

NOTE: The 2 windows and front door in this suite have frosted privacy glass and are NOT see through. City of Winona mandated that we use privacy glass due to this suite being located on the main level.
NOTE: There is a private/off street parking space located right next to the entrance to the front door of the suite- in front of the windows. It is a good size space that can accommodate most vehicles. X large vehicles like Suburbans, large trucks, etc will not fit entirely on the space and will poke out a bit into the alley. There is a large public parking lot located directly behind the building/across the alley from this suite. If you vehicle is too large, please contact me and I will be happy to assist you with finding a parking space in the lot or other close by parking options.

The space
This beautiful apartment has been recently finished in the heart of downtown Winona MN! In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we have provided many amenities in this apartment.
You will have access to a full kitchen with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, stainless steel appliances (full stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator).
The living room has a full size couch, 55 in HD TV with Hulu TV - 45 cable channels, Apple TV can be used for Netflix, HULU, Amazon Prime, etc and fast free Wifi.
The bathroom features a wall- to -ceiling tile shower with glass enclosure and a full size vanity.
The bedroom has a nice queen size mattress, two walk-in closets, and a dresser.
Finally, feel free to use the stacked laundry just off the kitchen. laundry detergent will be provided
* This unit has two skylights which provide natural light into the apartment. They have remote control blinds that close to darken the space. NOTE: Due to the design of the building, these are the only windows in the apartment.
** This unit does not have access to a thermostat for temperature control. The heating/cooling system keeps the temp at a consistent 69-71 degrees at all times for multiple units. If guests would like the temperature adjusted, I can adjust it for them upon request.

NOTE* : We want to disclose that there can be some light vibration noise inside the unit from time to time from above. The noise comes from a deck/walkway/entrance that is built on the roof above the unit. There are permanent tenants that live in the buildings second and third levels that use this to enter/exit the building.
We have done our best to minimize this noise but a certain amount of light noise is unavoidable.

The parking space is located in the back of the gravel lot just next door to the west of our building- behind Peter's Beer Garden. There a three parking signs designating parking for three of our units. Please park in the space that corresponds with the unit you are staying in. In case of snow, someone will plow out the spaces once per day if they are open. There will be detailed instructions for parking in the self check in guide. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Treetops for 2 is located in the heart of Winona. The upstairs apartment has a secure, self check-in entrance located at the back of the house, has 1 BR (double bed), bathroom (shower), kitchenette and living area. It has a remote controlled heating/cooling system, cable and internet-enabled TV/DVD, and Wi-Fi. Guests share the driveway, back entrance, laundry room, and back patio. The steps up to the apartment are steep. The space is 3 blocks from a charging station.

The space
Treetops is a cozy apartment in the house built by John Dobbs for his family in 1871. Dobbs was a pioneer of Winona, he ran its first newspaper, the Republican Herald. The house is in the the center of town, close to the downtown area and next to Winona State University. It's at the hub of what's happening in today's vibrant cultural scene. Treetops is a great place to stay to take in the many wonderful attractions Winona has to offer. Stay for a weekend, a week or a month and attend one of our many festivals as well as enjoy all the culture, scenic beauty and outdoor recreation in the area.
