The Village House is a fully restored farmhouse nestled at the foot of the bluffs in beautiful Winona. The house has been completely remodeled but still has loads of character with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and gracious furnishings. The outdoor spaces are equally inviting, especially the patio which is surrounded by gardens with a view of our charming neighborhood. Each bedroom has a full private bath so no one has to share. We are inspected annually by the MN Department of Health and licensed by the City of Winona. We have cameras facing only our parking lot. The cameras are on for security and safety of our guests. "Tiny House Living"! All the amenities of home only smaller. This is a great place! Sit by the creek and listen to the water run or cozy up to the "Tiny" wood burning fireplace to get away from it all. We also have a fire pit out front- please bring wood if your wanting to use. This is a 3 level cabin- there is a spiral staircase to get to the 2nd floor which is narrow and maybe challenging for older/ or not so agile folks. The stairs to the 3rd floor are regular stairs and 3rd floor sleeping area has low ceilings that you may not be able to stand up straight. Fun little place to rest your head and if your looking for something different... then this would be the place for you!
Situated right on the Minnesota State Snowmobile trails. Trails also great for walking/4 wheeling/ biking. We do have chickens & a dog on our property. You are not alone on this property we live in the house off to the left of the cabin.

The space
The Driftless Retreat is located along Gilmore Valley Road. There is a steep shared driveway and the cottage is first home on the left. The space includes two bedrooms with a king and queen bed. There's also a pull out bed in the sofa in the living room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a coffee and tea bar along with typical cooking items. The bathroom has a rain shower and hand held shower head. We supply all natural Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap. There is a medicine cabinet and storage closet in the bathroom where you will find towels for each guest. A washer and dryer is available for guest use at no cost. There are two televisions on the property in the living room and master bedroom with access to Netflix. Finally, there's a beautiful wood burning fire place in the living room for small fires on cold evenings.

Setting: Aefintyr campground is located in the hilly, wooded, blufflands of the Whitewater River Valley just north of the tiny town of Elba, MN. Views are primarily of the woods and valleys. The campground is off of a 2-lane county highway so there is some intermittent road noise. Cabins are located in the same area so you may have neighbors.

Aefintyr is a peaceful place with chill vibes and we like to keep it that way! It is not a place for parties or rowdy groups.
