"Tiny House Living"! All the amenities of home only smaller. This is a great place! Sit by the creek and listen to the water run or cozy up to the "Tiny" wood burning fireplace to get away from it all. We also have a fire pit out front- please bring wood if your wanting to use. This is a 3 level cabin- there is a spiral staircase to get to the 2nd floor which is narrow and maybe challenging for older/ or not so agile folks. The stairs to the 3rd floor are regular stairs and 3rd floor sleeping area has low ceilings that you may not be able to stand up straight. Fun little place to rest your head and if your looking for something different... then this would be the place for you!
Situated right on the Minnesota State Snowmobile trails. Trails also great for walking/4 wheeling/ biking. We do have chickens & a dog on our property. You are not alone on this property we live in the house off to the left of the cabin.

Be prepared for some coming & going by others that live &/or work on the property. You can be in downtown Winona in 5-10 minutes, the river parks in 15. The state park on the bluff is definitely worth a visit if you like short hikes & views." - "My partner and I stayed for 2 nights, and we had a great time! The place is near enough to town that it never takes long to get anywhere, but far enough that you can enjoy some peace and quiet. Because it is a smaller cabin, I would suggest keeping the guest count to one additional person. It’s a very cool set up, and was perfect for two of us, but much more beyond that and it can get cramped. But for a party of two, it’s a very cozy place. The owners and their friends were very welcoming, and we look forward to hanging out with them again the next time we book. Thanks again!"

Enjoy driftless woodland valley views from this "reimagined rustic", one-room,12 by 16 foot cabin on posts in the trees. Perfect for guests looking for a camping / glamping experience but prefer lodging accommodations. Linens and towels provided. Corner bunk with 3 twin mattresses. Couch converts to a full bed.Heat, A/C, wi-fi, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Hanging hammock chairs outside underneath the cabin. Private firepit with cooking grate and 4 chairs. Shared outdoor seating areas and gas grill. Cabin does not have plumbing. Year-round heated bathhouse with hot water, showers, toilets and drinking water available within 50 feet. Hiking trail and woodland areas to explore on the 14-acre property. Firewood is available for purchase on site.This unit is one of three treehouse cabins available on the property.

The Whitewater Wines Winery is 5.6 miles up the road.

Setting: Aefintyr campground is located in the hilly, wooded, blufflands of the Whitewater River Valley just north of the tiny town of Elba, MN. Views are primarily of the woods and valleys. The campground is off of a 2-lane county highway so there is some intermittent road noise. Cabins are located in the same area so you may have neighbors.

Aefintyr is a peaceful place with chill vibes and we like to keep it that way! It is not a place for parties or rowdy groups. This is a quaint one bedroom cabin, overlooking a valley in the wma in southeast Mn!! There are private hiking trails, a fire pit with a cooking, grill, a compost toilet, covered deck, hammock, small kitchen area, and off grid with a 2 panel solar system. Amazing!!

- "All the joys of camping but with a very comfortable queen bed!" - "If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to rest your head & body, this is it. I told the owner it is the perfect cross between camping & a hotel: you get the beauty, tranquility, views & outdoorsy fun of a campsite in bluff country (firepit with grill right outside the cabin to roast meats & marshmallows, excellent hiking trails, a hammock, and so many birds - cardinals, chickadees, whippoorwills, pileated woodpeckers, red-bellied woodpeckers, eagles, owls) but then….you have a solid structure to sleep in (on a super comfy double bed), eat in (2 burner cooktop inside), do your bodily business in (solid compost toilet) and enjoy a thunderstorm in (laying in the bed watching it rain & lightning thru the huge skylight overhead was mesmerizing!). Lorne is accommodating, readily available (he lives up the hill) and has the most amazing dog, Hopps: he will greet you, hike with you (there is close to 2 miles of hiking trails on the property) and lay outside the door of the cabin to rest and happily accept scratches whenever you have time to give them. Hopps was a truly wonderful bonus! I am already planning a fall trip for another spectacular weekend. Thank you Lorne, for creating such a peaceful, beautiful place for us to rest, relax and recharge."

We just did a major renovation and excited to share with you this amazing space! We hope you enjoy it!!!

You will have the entire cabin to yourself. Parking is to the right of the cabin next to the garage.
The spiral staircase will take you to the 2nd floor and another staircase to reach the 3rd floor bedroom area. Low headroom on 3rd floor bedroom due to A frame style cabin.

Guest access
You can walk around the grounds. We have chickens, a dog and a creek to relax and listen to the water

Cabin does not have indoor plumbing. Year-round heated bathhouse with hot water, showers, composting toilets and drinking water available within 50'. Wi-fi is through AT&T cell network, great for checking in on email, social media or placing internet calls but it is not high speed.

The campground is located off County Highway 26 (aka West Center Street) so there is occasional traffic noise.
