- "I thought this was so much fun. As someone travelling solo to Oktoberfest, I was a bit nervous to be on my own, but within the hour of arriving I had an entire group to go to the halls. I had such a great time, big shout out to the staff who really look after you and get involved. " - "At check-in, we (two young women) were asked if we brought our own mats and sleeping bags, if not, we could rent them for 10€ per item, so an additional 40€. There was no mention of this in our reservation, which included a "double bed". Having already paid 120€ for 2 nights, this was an unpleasant surprise. Considering the chill temperatures at night, the staff recommended we take at least the sleeping bags. We took one of each. And the tent we were assigned was much smaller than the one advertised on our booking. This was very disappointing. Thirdly, we were told that if we wanted to secure our bags in the tent, we would have to buy a padlock from a shop onsite. We were also told that we would have to pay to use the showers and we would have to negotiate to get toilet paper from a guy for the WC. Considering all this, we were clearly unsatisfied, but still agreed to stay for one night, considering we had already paid when making the reservation weeks before. However, sleeping in this campsite was a nightmare. Due to the cold (9-10°C), it was impossible to sleep even with a mat, sleeping bag and many layers of clothing. The worse part came at 4am when 4-5 drunken guys, talking and making sexual noises in the neighbouring tent, almost crushed ours with their stumbling around, causing us to exit in a rush. We felt so upset and unsafe, we just left the campsite to walk 20min in the dark to the train station. This was an awful experience and a terrivle value for 120€."

The space
The apartment is located directly on the historic city wall and offers a beautiful view of the countryside.
In the cozy studio for a maximum of 2 people you will find a box spring double bed (180 cm, already occupied on arrival), a dining table with 4 upholstered chairs, a sofa, TV and music system, a spacious wardrobe and a fully equipped kitchen.
The bathroom offers a sink with mirror cabinet, toilet and shower and has a window. Towels are available.
On the small balcony you can enjoy the afternoon sun in the countryside. A dining table, two loom chairs with cushions and an umbrella are available.

Other things to note
A travel crib with bedding and linens and a highchair can be provided free of charge upon request.

Silvia vacation home

The space
Lovingly renovated, cozy vacation home for approx. 4 people for rent. The property is completely overgrown and in summer hardly visible from the outside. When the weather is nice, you can relax undisturbed on the terrace. In cool weather, you can create a cozy ambiance with the wood-burning stove, which heats the entire house as a heating source. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Slightly steep stairs to the bedrooms (not suitable for disabled people). In one bedroom there is a double bed, in another bedroom there are two single beds. For undisturbed sleep, screens are attached to the windows. On the upper floor there is a bathroom with toilet and bathtub, on the first floor there is a bathroom with toilet and shower. In the living room, you can make yourself comfortable on the couch in front of the TV or listen to the radio. From the dining room you can look directly at the idyllic garden with a small garden pond. From spring to fall, garden furniture is available on the terrace.

Rödelmaier is a small, peaceful place at the foot of the Bavarian Rhön Mountains. The place is located in the administrative district of Lower Franconia, which directly adjoins Hesse and Thuringia. Due to the proximity of the Bad Neustadt highway junction, Rödelmaier is very easy to find. The Rhön Clinic Campus Bad Neustadt and shopping facilities can be easily reached after approx. 3 kilometers. The district town of Bad Neustadt with its old town invites you to stroll or visit the swimming pool. Bad Königshofen, with its health and adventure pool of the Frankentherme, can be found about 18 km away. Münnerstadt, also about 18 km away, is always worth a trip with its historic old town, the Riemenschneider altar and in autumn the local play. The Rhön Nature Reserve invites you to hike and cycle. A stop at Kreuzberg Monastery, on the highest mountain of the Rhön, is highly recommended. There is typical Franconian cuisine and the famous monastery beer.

Welcome to our apartments, in the beautiful Bavarian Forest in Waldkirchen. With attention to detail, our apartment has been redesigned and our guests are happy to provide it.

The Straubinger Volksfest attracts, the Unesco World Heritage Regensburg, skiing or hiking in St. Englmar or on the Arber.

The space
The living room is equipped with a fireplace, the wood is charged according to consumption. The stairs to the bedroom are relatively steep and the attic of the bedroom is very low. There is only 1 small window there, so the room is a bit darker, but additional light falls into the room from the bathroom. The bed is 1.60 mx 2.00 m and has a rather hard mattress and a shared duvet. The bathroom has a shower with a shower curtain and a hairdryer, hot water bottle, shower gel, handsoap and handcream and toilet paper. Wifi is currently not the best.

Guest access
In summer you can use the covered area next to the bred oven as a terrace, as well as an area of ​​the garden behind the house and the cozy, rural seating area under vines behind the barn and a seating area by the forest. This is a great place for yoga and meditation. Ask the host for yoga mat and meditation cushion if required.

Other things to note
Since we have three cats, which live mainly in the barn, it may happen that they visit you. Please do not let them into the house, as other guests may have allergies to cat hair.
If you don't want to be disturbed or the begging becomes too bad - please scare them away vehemently! ;)

Apartment on the ground floor (Ferienhaus Talblick)

The space
The holiday apartment on the ground floor of Ferienhaus Talblick has an area of about 80 square meters. Comforts include a satellite TV and internet access. From the apartment you can directly access the terrace that boasts garden furniture. Parking places for our guests are of course available. A washing machine is available to you in a separate basement room. The apartment has three bedrooms (2 double bedrooms, 1 children's room with bunk beds). You can feel comfortable in the large living space with a dining area and Swedish stove. The kitchen is well equipped for your stay There is a shower and the toilet in the bathroom.

In our cozy cottage there are two apartments for a total of 10 people to relax and feel good. The quiet and sunny southern slope location offers guests an impressive panoramic view over the village of Fladungen and the mountains of the Rhön. Due to its central location in the middle of Germany, our holiday home is ideal for meetings with family and friends through short arrivals from all directions. Located in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve, Fladungen is the perfect starting point to all excursion destinations in the Rhön. You can find a well-signposted and well-kept cycling and hiking trails network around Fladungen. On themed hiking trails such as the premium hiking trail 'Museumstour,' Friedensweg, 'Friedensweg,' Cultural Landscapes', get to know the history and nature of the Rhön. On the stretches of the "Balance-Nordic Walking Park" around Fladungen, you can relax and hide everyday life. Supply and shopping in Fladungen: food and beverage market, doctor's and dentist's office, pharmacy, banks, baker, butcher and various retail shops. Within walking distance you can reach the local outdoor swimming pool. The Franconian Freiland Museum with the Museum Railway and the historic old town.

The space
The apartment Naabhofblick is awarded 3 stars. It consists of 2 bedrooms, each with divisible double bed. Each bedroom has a couch for a cozy television evening. A reading nook with comfortable armchair invites you to rest. The kitchen-living room includes a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. The apartment is in the main house and the view from the window goes directly to the Naab. Great sunrises are guaranteed here. Bed linen, towels and shower towels, kitchen towels are available. Baby and children's equipment will be made available upon request. We also provide a washing machine (3.- EUR per wash cycle) and a dryer (4.- EUR per wash cycle). You are welcome to bring your dog for an extra charge by arrangement. Covered parking place is at your disposal. On the day of your arrival, the apartment will be at your disposal from 2 p.m. On departure day, we ask that you vacate it by 10 a.m.
