There is a good bus service to Wurzberg (25 minutes without too much traffic!) and to the Real Hypermarket (10 minutes) where any items you will need will be available. The local bus stop is only 200 yards from the apartment up the hill. The buses run about every 15 minutes during the day. Wurzberg is a lovely medium size city well worth a few days' visit. The Residence, Castle on the hill and a boat trip on the Main river are highly recommended. Don't forget to have a glass of wine on the Old Bridge!"

The apartment is located on the top floor of an apartment building and has a beautiful view of the imposing mountains of Garmisch-Partenkirchen through the floor and location. At the heart of the facility are homely colors and natural materials, the connection between modern and rural furnishings. Many of the fittings and furniture were made by hand and were made to match the character of the apartment. The bedroom has an open roof structure with a lot of visible wood and a generous, fantastic view of Alpspitze, Waxenstein and Zugspitze. A 47 inch LCD TV is used for cozy TV hours. There is a large fly screen in front of the window for mosquito and fly-free sleeping.

In the center of the living room is a stylish soapstone stove with a large viewing window to enjoy a lot of crackling, warm comfort in the living room on cold evenings. In addition to the cozy sofa corner with the same 47 inch LCD TV as in the bedroom, there is also a dining area available.

- "Glashütten" - "I stayed at this apartment during my visit to the Bayreuth Wagner Festival. I enthusiastically recomend this option! The photographs do not do justice to this beautiful and wonderfully comfortable apartment. It consists of four very spacious separate areas: - A huge living room with TV and separate “easy chair corner” with direct access to the balcony overlooking the owner’s manicured garden. - An immaculate kitchen-dining room, complete with all appliances and tableware anyone could wish for. I particularly like the fantastic coffeemaker / grinder. - A generously proportioned bedroom with queen-size bed, also opening to the balcony. - A bathroom almost as big as the kitchen, featuring double lavatories, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Everything was meticulously clean and inviting. The apartment seems to have been built yesterday, such is the care and attention to detail the owner has lavished on this unique space. The strong WiFi allowed me to use my Apple TV on the available TV set with no problems. The area is the small residential community of Glashütten, surrounded by the breathtaking landscape of the “Franconian Switzerland” forests and hills The Festspielhaus is an easy 15-minute drive, with supermarkets and other necessities along the way. The location is perfect for exploring the region’s natural and man-made attractions, such as the stunning basilica in Gössweinstein. Of course, a rental car is required. Because of Bayreuth’s accessibility and car-friendliness, driving is both worthwhile and cost-effective. Parking is inexpensive and plentiful. I found that Parsifalstrasse, a residential street on the left side of the Festspielhaus grounds, to be a more convenient -and free- parking option than the official (and crowded) Festspielhaus parking lot, as long as you arrive two hours prior to the performance. A GPS is strongly recommended. Last but not least, I must credit the host. The charming and attentive Fr. Krieg lives downstairs and was always available to advise me on operating the apartment’s appliances and about the area’s sightseeing features. One could hardly wish for a more cooperative, sensitive and hard-working host. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit! "

Although the property is not in the nicest of areas, it is centrally located, 2 tram stops (3 minute walk to the tram station) from the Central Station and entrance to the old town. A bakery, supermarket and a couple restaurants are a couple of blocks away. The only disappointment was the bed. The most awful “mattress”, if you can call it that, was a thin piece of terrible foam on top of a sofa upholstery. For the cost per night, without any cleaning or change of towels or sheets included, I would expect a decent normal bed with a normal mattress."

Our non-smoking apartment "Fink" is located about a 7-minute walk from the town center in the Lower Market, on a quiet side street. The apartment is bright, has a beautiful south-facing terrace, and a garage parking space.

Our rental price includes the cable cars in the summer time (May-October) and covers the tourist tax, which is shown as an administrative fee in the offer (€3.80 per night, per person).

It’s well laid-out and very comfortable. The bed and linens were great. We particularly appreciated the insect screen on the bedroom window - the first we’ve seen in Europe. It’s only a few blocks to the downtown pedestrian area, which is filled with shops and restaurants. The Rewe grocery store is even closer. An e-bike rental to see some of the nearby valleys made a geat day trip. The premium guest card (Allgäu Walser) was a great bonus . It saved us €90 on the Nebelhornbahn and let us travel by bus to a large number of attractions in the area. We hope to be able to return to Oberstdorf and this rental in the future. The only thing we wished for was an explanation of how trash is sorted and where it should be taken. This has been different in every town we’ve visited and the info isn’t very easy to find on the web (for a non-German, at least)."

- "It was really high quality and nice place for a family holiday" - "The parking was very bad around the apartments and if you are "lucky" you can get a spot close enough to walk back. PAID parking is an option, although I do not agree that it should be PAID parking when no parking is available. The staff at the main desk was courteous, but the bar and food service people were not courteous at all. Very curt and short if you asked questions. After hours only the security staff is on duty, so if you have any issues like we did with the air conditioning, it will have to wait until the next morning. They have a "What's app" number, but the staff takes a long time to respond. The dining area is run by a different company than the Lorenz Apartments, so do not expect good service or good food. Breakfast was bare-minimum bread with cheese. Unfamiliar choice juices and lukewarm coffee for all guests. UNLESS you are part of the food staff, which seemed to eat with us at breakfast and eat better than the guests AND and much as they wanted. All while being loud and playing videos on their phones. All in all, the stay was nice, but everything around it was not. Would I recommend staying here, yes. Just sleep here and eat somewhere else. Or being food and eat in your room. "

The hosts are very friendly and always ready to assist with recommendations or explanations; we stayed long enough to meet the whole family, and everyone was so kind and accommodating. The backyard was my favorite! Traveling with a two year old is hard, and having a small petting zoo AND trampoline right outside to keep him busy on both clear and snowy days was amazing! He loved the chickens and would check on them every morning. He would take our scraps and feed the ducks at the bridge across the street. He kicked a soccer ball around the yard or would make snow angels! It is gated, so very safe, and such a hidden gem. Cannot say enough great things about both these hosts and this property. Felt like a home away from home, with friendly neighbors. Would stay here again and again!"

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Füssen. The the historic old town is a mere 10 minutes’ walk away. In summer the first walking trail starts behind the house...

...in winter you will find the cross-country tracks there. What’s more, the most popular sledding hill in town is right by the house. Two very good ski schools are a 10 minute car ride away. For experienced skiers you need 20 to 30 minutes to reach larger skiing areas.

The 25-square-meter room with a tiled stove has a double bed and a wardrobe. Kitchen and bathroom can be shared. The sunroom is my office.

The space
The spacious 2-room apartment is on the first floor of a charming Art Nouveau villa. You can walk to the Wörthsee and also to the S-Bahn in 5 minutes. The nearest Edeka is a 15-minute walk. Several restaurants are within walking distance.

Not far from the apartment is a post office with a stationery shop. The Kirchenwirt is 5 minutes away and has a beer garden and a restaurant. The S-Bahn and Wörthsee are within 5 minutes' walking distance

The apartment has its own entrance. We contribute to social distancing by offering self check-in and check-out. For this, we have free access and the apartment door is already open at check in.

You come from the small hallway directly into the living room with couch and dining table (through room), from there it goes into the kitchen, the shared bathroom and the stairs up to my bedroom. The room is open to the top as it is a gallery apartment, so be quiet in the evening as I sleep on the first floor. We will share the dining table.
Your room/bedroom (see photos) about 8 square meters is separated separately next to the living room by a sliding door. The sofa bed folds out into a bed and measures 1.00 m x 2.00 m and is very comfortable. The room still has a closet, dresser and shelf.

Beautiful, simply furnished yet cozy room with new amenities. In the house is a new shared kitchen incl. plates, cutlery, glasses, microwave, dishwasher and stove set. 2 shared bathrooms with tub, separate toilet, lounge with ample seating and a new 55-inch TV. Wi-Fi.

Right next to the property is an INVG bus stop with the best connection.

Interpark is about 3 km away.

Our place is simple yet cozy, because we want to offer professionals, for example, offer fitters an affordable and pleasant home away from home.
