A warm welcome awaits you at Rhuellen. Rhuellen is a recently renovated Victorian house set in the middle of Broadford between the river and the sea.
We are situated a few minutes walk from the supermarket, shops, restaurants fuel station and pharmacy.
Enjoy Highland hospitality in one of our comfortable and characterful en-suite rooms. There is off-street parking as well as outdoor seating for guests. We offer a self service continental breakfast overlooking the river.
The space
The 'Blue Room' overlooks the river and trees. It has a standard sized double bed, an en-suite with toilet, shower and sink. Towels, soap and toilet roll are provided. There are hooks and hangers for clothes and drawer storage space. A hospitality tray with tea, coffee, filter coffee, UHT milk and sugar is in the room.
Guest access
WIFI - We have WIFI access and SMART Tvs in each room. However, the house is old with thick walls, so the signal may not always be strong enough to cope with multiple streaming devices. We have a range of DVDs in the lounge for you to watch, should the signal be a bit iffy!
Hot food - Snacks and take away meals can be eaten in the kitchenette where plates, cutlery and a communal fridge and microwave are available. We politely ask that you don't eat hot food in the rooms.
Outside space - we have a vast garden that runs next to a river. Please be aware there is a drop down to the river - signs in situ. Seating is available outside the front door area.
Other things to note
Rhuellen is a beautiful old house that has been lovingly restored. We look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy the space and relax within it's walls.
The outside of the property and grounds are still a work in progress and a wee bit scruffy in places. Scaffolding is still erected at the rear of the property. This will not affect the quality of your stay and may even have been removed by the time you arrive :)

Stay on the Bay is a lovely cabin right on the edge of Broadford bay on the Isle of Skye. Our cabin is the perfect space, for two, to relax and enjoy simply stunning sea and mountain views.
As well as being within walking distance of local restaurants and bars, the cabin is also very central for exploring all corners of our beautiful island.
Stay on the Bay is a self check in property however Norma can be contacted via mobile at any point.
The space
Our cabin has an open plan living / dining space with a fully equipped kitchen. Patio Doors open out, from the living and bedroom areas, to the sea where you have a decked area to sit and enjoy taking in the views (and if you are very lucky the local otter).
We have a spacious bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room. Lie in bed and watch the boats leaving from the local pier and listen to the sound of the waves. The bedroom also has patio doors and a decked area.
Other things to note
Please not that due to our Short Term License we can only accept bookings for up to two people maximum. We can not accept any additional guests including children under one.
