This private little gem could be a world away. It offers a private, safe, fully- fenced courtyard with an abundance of plants and a separate entrance, as well as off -street parking. It has views over Canberra, with its backdrop of the Brindabella mountain range and is attached to a working Knitwear and Textile Art studio which may be toured by appointment.
There is a compact space for relaxing with a well- equipped kitchenette featuring Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Induction cooker, Crockery, Cutlery, Fridge, Pots and Pans, Bowls, Condiments, Tea, Coffee and Milk. There is an iron and ironing board, broom, bucket and mop. The leather sofa folds out to a double- bed, there is a TV, Heater, Fan, Board Games, Books, extendable dining- table seating 4-6, Ensuite Bathroom with Hairdryer, Shower and Toilet and a separate Bedroom with Double bed and Electric blanket.
Many fixtures and features are hand- crafted by a local artisan, and may be commissioned by arrangement.
Breakfast ingredients for two adults are provided for the first day including toasting bread, butter, milk and assorted spreads.
Extra Breakfast, Gourmet or BBQ hampers with local produce may be provided if requested a minimum of 2- days in advance of arrival, at moderate cost.

The sunny Courtyard is fenced, secure and private, with a craftsman -built lockable gate, and features gas BBQ, dining setting for 6, herb garden, an abundance of plants, goldfish and views over Canberra. It is a lovely place to relax, read a book and take in some sun, away from the cares of the world.
The courtyard is fringed by tall trees which add to privacy and provide shade on hot days.
The property is located in Queanbeyan's light Industrial estate, it has views towards Canberra and the Brindabella mountain range where snow can be seen in Winter

This listing is back after a hiatus while we renovated out house.

The space is fairly small (it's in our garage). We have plenty of space for parking, including in the garage if you'd like. We're happy to share access to our large deck, backyard and pet chickens - yes there is often eggs.

Comes with creature comforts and negotiable access to our house for extras (e.g. Washing machine).

Lounge folds out to a sofa bed with mattress topper. We can also throw in a porta cot if needed for a bub.

Small housetrained pets considered and it's best suited for single night stays. Note that we do not have a dog and have not tested whether yard is fully dog proof. Supervision of any pets at all times is a must.

Tastefully appointed with quality beds, linen, electrical heated blanket for winter season, welcome basket including a bottle of quality wine, chocolates, coffee capsules, tea bags and snacks, free WIFI, Netflix and AC. This granny flat is comfortable, warm in winter and air conditioned in summer. It is recently renovated and your every need has been considered - instant gas hot water, wifi, chromecast & TV, a kitchen to cook in, workspace to set up your laptop, dining table, and even a recliner to put your feet up.

You will have access to the entire granny flat and bathroom pod. While you are here, the driveway up the side is yours to use, but please don't park inside the front gates as it is a narrow space and is a liability issue.

We have a dog ("Spooky"). He is friendly, but you're in his yard, so he might think he has to bark at you. He will not bite you. Just be confident and walk past him. Please do not feed him. If he comes up to you, please DON'T offer your hand for a sniff. For some reason this offends him. Just treat him like you've known him for 10 years and go straight in for a pat on the side of the neck.
