The space
Fox Heaven Bed and Breakfast has 2 spaceous double bedrooms both en-suite with wonderful views to the hills and open land. One of the bedrooms is downstairs with walk-in shower which is convenient for the guests who can not or just do not want to go up the stairs. If you book in for 2 people (a couple), you'll get the large bedroom upstairs. To get both the bedrooms, you need to book in for 3 or 4 guests.
The entire house is surrounded by quite a big garden with about 80 rose bushes and other plants so you can enjoy them in beautiful bloom in late spring, summer and autumn months. You can be a vitness of different scenes of sheep and chickens life.
Fox Heaven is located in such a place you can easily commute everywhere throughout Northern Ireland. It is close to Belfast with all its tourist attractions, and it is just in 80-90 minutes of drive to the Giant's Causeway one of the most famous UNESCO World Heritagec Site. Folk and Transport Museum where you can spend all day is in 30 minutes of drive from us. If you do not like to drive you can use public transport. Trooperslane train station is in 3-5 minutes walk.
The closest town to Fox Heaven is Carrickfergus where you can spend your time and find places to eat and drink.(URL HIDDEN) Carrickfergus Borough is a diverse and immensely attractive area of East Antrim, a truly unique mixture of history, scenic beauty and modern living.
The town itself is dominated by the famous Carrickfergus Castle, built in the 12th Century, and is Ireland’s oldest and best preserved Norman citadel. The historic town walls, built by Chichester in the 1600’s, illustrate the quality and consistency of the Jacobean builders and are worth a visit in their own right.
Other places to visit include the Andrew Jackson Cottage and U.S. Rangers Centre located at Boneybefore, Flame the gasworks of Ireland based at Irish Quarter South and the 800 year old St. Nicholas Church with its famous stained glass windows.
