Breakfast is served in the cozy sitting room in the morning. Here you can possibly use one side and clear meal. There are plates, cutlery and glasses. The B&B is small and nice and has a beautiful roof terrace. If needed, you can also smoke a cigarette or cigar there.

The bedroom has two single beds. For a possible third party, there is a so-called fairground bed. Also there is a fold-out crib and high chair available.
In the "sitting room" is a dining table where the breakfast tailored to you is served in the morning. The roof terrace is south. On sunny days, you may want to have breakfast here.

The space
In our large yard and adjoining bush you can always hear birds and our own chickens and two goats; sheep and cows from the neighbors graze at an almost touchable distance. Inside there are 3 spacious double rooms, each with a shower and toilet. Plus a very cozy conservatory with French doors to porch and terrace. Here you can have breakfast, meet others or just relax and enjoy a drink. If you want to cook for yourself, the well-equipped kitchen is at your disposal; in Beetsterzwaag, Drachten and Bakkeveen, many restaurants are also available.

Our chalet for two people, behind our house, is located in a rural area on the Compagnonsvaart, on the outskirts of Gorredijk.
You have a view over the meadows, where cows and sheep graze during the summer months.

The space
Our old-fashioned cozy chalet is well insulated. It has a simple decor, with mostly second-hand or family items. The chalet has a wood-burning stove, which can heat the entire chalet.

There is a kitchen where you can cook yourself. It has a small bathroom with shower and toilet.
The bedroom is on the second floor (via steep stairs). There is a comfortable double bed, but it can also be used as two single beds.

Guest access
We try to be present at every arrival to welcome you. Should this not work, you have access to the chalet through our key safe.

Other things to note
We provide clean linen, enough wood for the wood stove and remove the waste if necessary.

We do not provide breakfast.

The space
Our cozy apartment is located above our garage. You have access to the apartment via a private entrance. On the ground floor is the bathroom with washbasin, toilet and a nice rain shower. Bath towels and towels are provided.

Via the stairs you reach the landing with a kitchen equipped with every comfort. Including a dishwasher, refrigerator, combi oven-microwave, induction cooktop (2-burner), kettle and Nespresso machine with milk frother. Towel, tea towel, dishwasher tablets and dishwashing detergent are provided.

In the apartment with Wi-Fi Access Point, a dining area, a sitting area with TV and a comfortable double bed are at your disposal.

Outside, two comfortable bucket seats with a lovely sheepskin are ready for you to enjoy the panoramic view. Feel free to find a nice spot in our large garden!

The rate listed does not include the cost of breakfast. Breakfast for 2 people is €29.50 per day and can be ordered separately as desired.

For a fee of €5 per day, you can also rent a bike from us.

In our B&B, you can relax in nature, and it is cozily furnished. It has a kitchenette with a 1-burner electric hob and a terrace at the back. We live near Franeker, on the Eleven Cities Route for cyclists and hikers. You can go anywhere from here, to the sea dike, the Wadden Islands and visit nice towns. You can use an outdoor fireplace, for 5 euros you have a basket full of wood. Breakfast is not included. This can be booked for 10.00 euros per person.
