We do have animals which include 4 cats (3 ragdolls) and 2 golden retriever. The cats may come and say hello as very friendly. As there are not street wise, please watch out when reversing!

The Old Stone house offers comfortable Self catering accommodation in the picturesque village of kloof. The main house was built from stone in the late 1940s and features a large rock pool and ample secure parking within the main property. The Guest suite has a smart TV with free access to a bouquet of streaming channels, a cleaning service is provided every three days to change your linen and towels and we have included a few additional surprises to make your stay unforgettable. Within a radius of 5km you will find a Spar, P&P and Woolies Foods and, for those guests who would prefer to dine out, there are lots of great restaurants and take away options. If you looking for some fun and a few drinks, Stokers Arms, Stumpnose, Kloof Country Club and Tinas hotel are all within the vicinity.

Avonlea Guest House is a charming self-catering unit nestled in the heart of beautiful Kloof near Durban, situated right next to Memorial Park. Avonlea is a newly renovated studio apartment, fully furnished and all appliances are brand new, which include a smart TV (full DSTV bouquet &Netflix), washing machine, iron, fridge, microwave, mini oven/stove, kettle, toaster and airconditioner. Inverter so there will be lights and TV during load shedding. It is suitable for a single person or a couple.

Situated right next to beautiful Memorial Park in Kloof. Kloof is on the Comrades Marathon Route and about 29km from Durban (half an hour's drive to the beach). Memorial Park has ample birdlife, the property is quiet and peaceful.

The largest of the rooms is "Casablanca", our Master Suite, located on the ground floor, featuring a king-size bed, glass stacking doors onto its own patio, and a full ensuite bathroom with shower and large bath fed from rainwater reservoirs.

"Marrakesh" the second bedroom on the ground floor, offers a king-size bed that can be made into two single beds by arrangement, with a private ensuite bathroom and stunning views of the Krantzkloof nature reserve from the shower. Sliding doors open onto the patio for an immersive outdoor experience.

"Fez", our downstairs bedroom next to the Koi pond on the lower floor features a Queen size bed and its own private outdoor sitting space. The ensuite bathroom boasts a Moroccan-styled shower and bath combo with a view of the Krantzkloof nature reserve.

Le Chemin's fully appointed kitchen is stocked with everything you need to create your own culinary masterpieces, however, this is strictly for private use, and the use the space for events must be by prior arrangement.

Take a refreshing dip in our infinity pool on the patio, where you can stretch out with a cocktail in hand and enjoy the sunsets and relaxing views of the Krantzkloof nature reserve, or take a stroll through the gardens to the stream picnic area to enjoy the sights and sounds of African birdlife.

Our property features backup water and solar electricity supply, so you won't be dependent on grid availability to operate. While most of our capacity is covered, certain high-demand items such as washing machines and air conditioners may be temporarily unavailable when we are off-grid.

For long stays, the guesthouse is serviced weekly by an on-site housekeeper. Should you require additional cleaning during your stay, this can be arranged for an additional fee.
