We are located 40 km south of Adelaide. in amongst approx 80 wineries, close to several nearby beautiful beaches, Heysen trail, walking & bicycle trails and the Fleurieu Peninsula

The Linear Way is a Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the McLaren Vale Winery Town. There is one room at the moment which is called The Willy Wagtail Room. It is a private ground floor room with its own entrance. There is an attached private and secure pergola at the rear of the room. It has a private en suite bathroom. Queen bed. TV. Airconditioning, heating. Tea and coffee making facilities, port, biscuits and chocolate are in room. Easy chairs and a large wardrobe are also in the room. A fully cooked and continental breakfast is included.

The Linear Way Bed and Breakfast is a fully hosted B&B located in the Winery Town of McLaren Vale. With the Shiraz Trail adjacent to the property, it is a short 4 minute walk to the town centre where you will find award winning restaurants and some of the area's cellar doors. Our Willy Wagtail Room is a Ground Floor private room with private entrance with views to grape vines. There is also room for guests to park their bicycles securely .

Air Conditioner

Honey Retreat is located 5 minutes walk from the local shops. The shiraz trail is within walking distance and bikes can be hired locally. The studio contains a queen size bed with bathroom and kitchenette. New hardwood flooring and pet friendly.

The space
Guests have their own private garden accessed to the right of the property. Please note pets are welcome but the studio garden is not secure for them.

Access to Honey Retreat is located on a shared driveway with plum cottage. The entrance to the studio is on the far right down the driveway to the red door (studio)

There is a flow hive located behind the property ( the garden of plum cottage). If allergic please stay away from hive.

Situated on top of a hill the studio is completely private. Nestled amongst some of the country's premium wineries and vineyards, it is only a short drive to beaches and acclaimed eateries.

The space
The Studio in the Vines is a rammed earth building, open planned, self contained accommodation with separate bathroom. Seated on top of a hill, the expansive 90m2 studio has views out to the coast and nature on the back door step. While only 20 metres from main family home, the direction of the magnificent views and strategic screening allows for the feeling of complete privacy enjoyment.

Guest access
Guests can be met on arrival and shown though the property, depending on arrival time. Otherwise keys are left in a security box for guests to retrieve and return on departure.

The Studio in the Vines is self-contained, with linen, towels, beach towels and basic condiments provided. All you need to bring with you is your food.

Other things to note
The Studio in the Vines is a spacious, open plan room and with separate bathroom. There are ceiling fans and a reverse cycle air conditioner.

The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery, glassware and pots. There is a selection of local teas from the Fine and Dandy Tea Co as well as some basic condiments. The kitchen is well appointed for those guests that wish to take advantage of the fabulous choice of regional produce and stay in and cook and there is a Webber BBQ on the terrace for alfresco dining.

Each bed has new luxury bedding with linen, towels and beach towels supplied. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.

There is free wifi and a wireless audio speaker provided. Some books and games are available for your enjoyment.

A Port-a-cot, high-chair and stroller are available on request.

The living space opens out onto a terrace with views of vines and the occasional kangaroo. Here you will find a 4 seater table with an umbrella. On the verandah, we have placed a couple of chairs and a side table for you to enjoy the stunning sunsets over McLaren Vale and the surrounding area.

There is plenty of room for parking on the property.

Other things to note
We get lots of questions about our pool: yes, it is temperature controlled year round! We have solar heating which regulates the temperature of the water; the warmer the weather is, the more temperate the water will be.
We have recently upgraded to a Magnesium Salt pool, which is a more relaxing experience - kind to skin, eyes and hair, unlike traditional chlorinated pools.

Please note: while our villa is detached from the main house, it is adjacent. You will have your own driveway (part of it is shared) and private use of the pool. We are a quiet duo nextdoor, and the neighbours enjoy the ambience also. We trust you will enjoy your stay, and it is important to us that we ensure we are providing an adequate description of our property.

To provide you with ultimate sweeping views of the vineyards, we have decided not to make alterations to the pool fence that borders the main house. As an alternative, we have installed blockout blinds that border the villa and the main house. Your privacy is our priority - *we cannot see you through these blinds*. You will have tranquil and unadulterated views.
