We are set in a pine forest and on the Lions river.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to walk to our picnic spot on the Lions river and even pre order a picnic basket at your own cost. Our guests have access to walk in the pine forest.

During your stay

Our guests love making fires in the fire pit under the stars. Wood can be arranged for R50 a bucket.

Beautiful stone cottage located down original Farmhouse Lane. Set on the secure Gowrie Golf Estate, SKYFALL COTTAGE is the perfect country stay for easy access to local schools, wedding venues and Midlands Meander attractions.
MAXIMUM of 2 adults and 2 children (8-17years) can be accommodated.

The space
A ground floor bedroom with 2 super comfy 3/4 beds, white linen & luxury towels is suitable for 2 singles or a couple.
A loft dormitory room with single beds is available for families - up to 2 children between ages 8 - 17yrs
No kitchen is available and no self catering facilities. Only a kettle is available. All meals are eat out.

Underfloor heating & electric blankets ensure a cosy night in the Notties winters.
A steep staircase provides access to the loft and is strictly not suitable for adults or children younger than 8yrs. Restricted height in the Loft.
Additional children can be accommodated on special request at an additional cost per child.
Hot water bottles & extra blankets are provided for cold nights.
A beautiful white tiled bathroom with copper fittings, underfloor heating, bath, shower, hand basin & WC.
Luxury bath sheets are provided for adults guests and bath towels for children are supplied.
A small tea/coffee area is available in the cottage and has the following amenities for guests use:-
* Long life milk on arrival;
* A kettle + glassware, crockery & cutlery are also provided for drinks only - no self catering permitted in the Cottage;
* Tea, Coffee & Sugar are supplied on arrival
Private entry is available, allowing guests freedom to come and go as necessary.

There are 2 resident pets on the property, who are very friendly and will be very eager to greet our guests & gain access to the Cottage. Please feel free to say hello but please do not allow them inside! We also kindly ask that the gate be kept closed at all times to keep the dogs from running onto the farm.

One-bedroom cottage with a lounge area, kitchenette and shower room. There's a kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee and a bar fridge for the essentials. The cottage geyser runs on gas so you never need to worry about the water being cold! A hot shower awaits. A perfect weekend getaway spot.

Fields Cottage is a self catering 2 bedroom cottage on a large property with a beautiful garden in the centre of Nottingham Road. This is the perfect spot to get away from it all, situated 1.5 km from the village. Live for the little pleasures!

The space
Fields Cottage is set on a a beautiful 30 hectare kikuyu surrounding. Pastures surround the cottage with easy access to the main road, Gowrie Village and Gowrie Farm. The cottage is a private dwelling with an area behind to have private dining.

Guest access
Guests are able to access the immediate property surrounding Fields Cottage. There is an outside area to braai and enjoy the view.

Other things to note
The 2nd bedroom is upstairs in a loft. It is advisable that only children over the age of 10 be allowed to sleep upstairs due to the accessibility (please review pictures). If stairs are an issue with smaller children please reconsider your stay. We do have available mattresses for children only.

Gowrie Farm ,In the heart of Nottingham Road , on the Midlands Meander. We offer a One bedroom ensuite with its own private entrance, queen bed, fitted kitchen. Ample parking and easy access to shops and restaurants as well as all major schools and wedding venues in the Midlands.

This newly built suite offers a comfortable and spacious ensuite bedroom with its own private entrance on the ground floor. We are situated on a safe and secure estate in the Natal Midlands with golf, running, walking, fishing and mountain biking facilities.
There is a small gym in Gowrie Village which offers daily rates to visitors.
Easy access to the local Spa's which offer a full range of beauty and relaxation treatments. Gowrie farm is just a few kilometers from most wedding venues in the area.

The beautiful cottage is discreetly attached to the Manor House but has a private and separate entrance. You won't even know when it's Load Shedding- the property is backed up by a solar system! While the owners might be right next door, you have a sense of having the whole property all to yourselves. Original paintings, fine bed linen, bone china, fireplaces...comfort in abundance.
