In a 1200's building in mellow stone, part of an antique castle, between Florence and Lucca's area, you will be accomodated at the first floor a private suite composed by a central sittingroom with fireplace, satellite smart tv, sofa and armchairs, a double bedroom, another bedroom with two single beds. The building is a lovely cottage in mellow stones that was the bishop's residence during the medieval time and set in a peaceful and secluded castle of Lanciole, a small mediaeval village in Tuscany, between Lucca and Florence area. The area made by a patchwork of medievals villages and green land with wonderful views and surroundings, chestnuts, olive trees, vinyards, famous for porcini mushrooms and many other specialities, wild boars, beans, olive oil, chestnuts flour.....
Renowned for an elegant/country atmosphere and the warmest of welcomes, this 800 year old house, now has every modern conveniences but still mantain the charm and features of the past time. The house has been providing by quality accomodation setting in an area considered from the guests a real jem, for the calm and tranquillity a place where the time has stopped.
Coming through the front door you will access to the shared entrance, from there taking the stone steps on your right you will access to the suite floor that will be at your exclusive use either if you are alone. The Montalbano hill is permeated with paths that can be traveled on foot or by mountain bike that allow you to travel this territory far and wide in tranquility in the midst of nature with valuable landscapes

The room belonged to my paternal grandparents who married in 1923 and is located on the second floor.
Since it is located in the back of the house, it is quiet. The double bed with wooden slats and orthopedic mattresses measures 170 x 200 and allows for comfortable relaxation.
The bathroom, cozy but functional, is equipped with essential amenities.
A mat on the window keeps insects away and the room cooler.

A third bed cannot be added!

In the room there is a wardrobe and a chest of drawers to arrange clothes and where guests can find blankets necessary for their rest, in case they need them.
