Silvern Lake Trail Bed & Breakfast offers 4 accommodations with bathrobes and slippers. These individually decorated and furnished accommodations have separate sitting areas. A few acres just minutes from Smithers downtown. The Cottage's vista views up to Hudson Bay peaks. Kathlyn Creek meanders through the property, making for a great summer and winter retreat.
It may be a "wee" Cottage, but a kid's loft and en-suite bedroom make for a cozy getaway for a family or two friends. Kids under 10 are free to stay with their parents. The kitchenette is stocked for your first few breakfasts, including daily fresh eggs. The Cottage for your shorter stay in Smithers.

The space
Travelers can find a casual quiet space in our Cottage, plenty of room for two & children (kids under 10 are not charged). A loft bed space and a separate bedroom with a double bed and a large walk-in shower in the en-suite with heated floors. A classic wood-burning stove for winter nights, outside: two fire pits, and a barbecue for outdoor use will keep you stargazing.
A warm and quiet space to chill indoors or a space to roam on our acres, summer and winter. Kathlyn Creek meanders the length of the property for a perfect family play or just reflection. Freshly laid eggs thanks to our hens, cereals, bread, fresh ground coffee, and fruit are provided for your first few breakfasts in the kitchenette.
Wifi TV, Netflix, YouTube, medium speed Wi-Fi for your lounging pleasure, even a few books and games to relax within the bedroom reading nook (doubles as an infant bed area). Most of our guests review the Cottage as super "chill." We will make provision for your pets. Not in the Cottage though, but in the heated Music room 4 meters from door to door ( $15. per night), we have a fenced area too where our dog loves to hang with new friends.

Guest access
Our guests can park near the cottage in summer only (if needed), albeit in winter, a carport is kept exclusively for guest use, with plug-in power if needed. The back cleared mowed acres, garden and creek are yours to explore. There is a space to park a large RV,s motor-homes, sled trailer, horse float, whatever your requirements, we'll try to accommodate. No pets in the Cottage, sorry (dogs and cats) unless you keep them in your vehicle or our heated workshed/music room just 4 meters from the Cottage (they love it). Storage for skis, bikes, and available too.

Other things to note
Hey kids under the age of 10 (when you arrive) stay Free, no crib on site, but a nook at the main bed for little ones, (just book 1- 2- 3 on the booking page).
Dogs or cats are welcome in "Your" vehicle or the adjoining building, music/record shed.
Never in the Cottage.. Sorry.

Smithers is known for it's amazing all seasons playground. During the summer months the fish are jumping and from late August to November the world famous Steelhead are biting. Hiking, Biking, and all water sports, get you pumped to be out in the great outdoors, breathing in that fresh Northern air. Smithers is known as the "Gem" of the North. Get ready to explore!!
In the winter months, Hudson Bay Mountain alpine ski area is noted for it's champagne powder, no line-ups and great daily pricing. Our Nordic center has groomed trails, that meander the mountainside, and lit trails for your evening outings.
Ski, Skate, Snowshoe or even Icefish right out the Lakedrop Inn's doorstep.

The space
The Murphy Suite is a luxurious space, private and designed for that very special occasion! A comfortable queen bed, large contemporary ensuite with a soaker tub (no shower), and beautiful rain water windows, allow the early morning sun to creep into your mood. A washer and dryer hidden away in the closet keeps the ensuite design simple and the wall art from local artisians showcase the valleys splendor.
A private entrance way, large private deck, and your very own private couples hot tub, awaits your arrival. This suite has amazing views of the lake and mountain too.
A welcoming breakfast on the first morning of your stay, for stays of at least 2 nights, is included, so wake-up time is on your schedule.
A large screen TV (doesn't need to be turned on), Fridge/Freezer, Microwave, Keurig Coffee Maker, Cold water dispenser, BBQ, and all the water toys are included in your stay.
