This log cabin is on the edge of Lake Kathlyn in the beautiful Bulkley Valley near Smithers; the town of four seasons. Smithers offers all amenities and outdoor winter and summer sports.
Our three bedroom cabin offers two Queen rooms and a small room with two single beds. The house accommodates up to 6 people. There is also a heated room outside the kitchen for use as a drying room in the winter. All windows are double glazed. Lake Kathlyn freezes in the winter for all forms of XC skiing and skating and in the summer months has abundant wildlife hummingbirds, Canada geese and loons. The cabin is 4km from Smithers and 1km from the airport. The lake is a sanctuary and no motorised boats are permitted. The downhill skiing and XC ski club are open for five months of the year. Highlights in the valley include the steelhead fishing season, hunting and hiking.
