Unique location - unobstructed house right by the barn trail with stunning lake views. Underfloor heating and brand new. 100 meters to bus stop and walking distance to the city center (35min)

Bedroom is up the ladder (se pictures). Low with sloping ceilings. Window perfect for watching the stars and sometimes the northern light!

The other doublebed is behind the sofa and can be pulled up/down.

Welcome to our home at Kystad, Byåsen, west of Trondheim in a quiet residential area. From the property it is a 5 minute walk to the bus that goes to the city center, St Olav's hospital and/or NTNU Gløshaugen. Bus takes about 15-20 minutes to the city center. From the property it is also easy and quick to get out in great Bymarka with several hiking and swimming opportunities. 2,5 km to Granåsen ski center (15-20 min walk). There are several grocery stores in the immediate vicinity and only 10 minutes to drive to City Syd if you wish.

The space
The property is a half of a semi-detached house. Plenty of room for parking in front of the house. We have 1 electric car charger that can be used for an extra fee. The room we rent out is newly renovated and is on the second floor. You have access to a great bathroom with toilet, sink and shower on the first floor. The room has a good double bed (150 cm), dresser, single desk and chair. Bright curtains and exterior screens. Coffee and tea is available. There is a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher in the room and fire ladder is fitted externally.
We have a lovely garden with lots of flowers and garden furniture in the summer.

Guest access
Shared entrance with hosting. You/you have your own room on the second floor and bathroom on the first floor. Good breakfast is provided. Coffee and tea are available at the time of your choice.

During your stay
The host, Signe and John, live in the house and can be contacted at any time during your stay. Another bedroom in the house will also be rented out during certain periods such as the World Ski Championships in Trondheim.
