The Garden Studio is in exceptionally quiet and peaceful surroundings in a magical setting, far away from the madding crowds at the foot of the Son Moragues Natural Mountain Reserve, just 2 kms from Valldemossa. It is a superb location for hiking, rock climbing, cycling, bird watching, nature, and is an artist's paradise. Within a short and lovely stroll, amid olive groves, you may look down on the ancient fishing settlement of Port de Valldemossa, at the foot of impressive cliffs.
The space
The stone faced Garden Studio is 30 sq. mt in area. It has a nice sized bed/living room, and from here an open arch way which gives access to a small, but very attractive, well equipped kitchen with a 2 burner electric stove, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, and dining area. The large bathroom, which is attractively tiled, has a full sized bath/shower over, sink, bidet and loo.
The beds are made up as a super king sized double, unless 2 singles are requested on booking, and have electric blankets for those chilly nights.
There is a heater/air conditioner for use in the winter/summer, when necessary.
The Studio looks across a lawn towards the house, and has lovely vistas of trees, garden flowers and mountains. Bird song, frogs and nature abound.
Please note that there is a 40 euros cleaning charge on bookings of 5 days or less. Electricity costs are payable at the end of the stay - the Studio has it's own meter which you can read at all time, and is charged at the current rate. The tourist tax is 2 euros per person/day from 17 years and over. These are cash payments.
Guest access
The Studio is secluded and completely independent, with it's own private access, being approx. 40/50 mts from the house and has it's own parking. There is a large patio of 20 sq.mts , shaded during the summer months, with table, chairs and BBQ. The newly made gravel garden of some 100 sq.mts to the rear of the Studio, is very private and attractive, and has 2 sun loungers, a sun shade, coffee table and chairs, which are for your use only. Please note that my garden is private, but you are welcome to have a tour, should I have a moment.
Other things to note
The village has a well stocked supermarket, excellent bakers, banks, pharmacy, restaurants/cafes and boutiques offering a wide range of goods - clothing, jewellery, artwork and gifts. There is a market on Sundays. Also there is a Tourist Information Centre.
