- "This is a gorgeous hotel that has recently been updated under new management and they have done a wonderful job. The buildings and grounds are immaculate. It has great views in all directions and the town of Valldemossa is a short 5 minute walk. The town is quaint and has multiple places to eat as well as a few shops. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, providing great information about the surrounding area, recommendations on restaurants, and nearby activities. The concierge made dinner reservations for us when needed. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished with all necessary amenities. It had a bedroom, separate indoor seating area, and private outdoor terrace. There was plenty of storage for luggage and our personal belongings. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good. There was coffee in the room and a mini-bar. We did visit the spa (sanctuary) for a massage session which we thought was nice and relaxing. We also spent time at the pool which is peaceful and has plenty of chairs with a mixture of sun and shade. We hope to return to Mallorca and Hotel Valldemossa will certainly be on our list of places to stay."

It matters not whether they are children or adults: we are family friendly. The 6 vacancies are divided into 3 guest rooms with comfortable double beds: one with views of the pool, and two with more privacy.Can Ganesha has an en suite bathroom by the master bedroom, another full bathroom and a WC in the garden. A very beautiful phenomenon occurs with the pool: during the day it's blue and at night, when the lights are on, the water turns into a shaded green. Can Ganesha has a 600 mb optical fibre connection and satellite TV with Netflix, enabling you to work or enjoy your favourite series. Can Ganesha is in the mountains and very close to the sea, so the house is cool. Even so, the 3 bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Our house was extended and remodelled by award winning architects .It is close to Valldemossa village some 10 mins by car ( with great restaurants and a small grocery store)and around 25 mins from Palma. Deia with many great restaurants and a small beach is 20 minutes away by car. A car is essential to experience the island to the full and to access our house in the mountains.

OUTSIDE
Ample outdoor furniture is available to sunbathe with 9 loungers and padded cushions and beach towels.Retractable electric sunshades over the main patios and 3 parasols complete the shading.
An outdoor sofa and chairs on the main terrace with coffee table is a super place to chill. A large cushion storage box is adjacent to the outdoor shower for easy access.Small drinks tables are next to the loungers.
The unheated pool is 2.3m deep with easy access steps in the shallow end.The water is salinated and serviced every week

You have 3 outside dining area choices! A large outdoor table on the terrace outside the kitchen seats 8 comfortably.A side terrace also has an 8 seater table for breakfast in the morning sunshine.The end sunset terrace also features a further table for late evening drinks & food .

The well equipped kitchen has latest appliances from Neff/Siemens etc.An induction hob and retractable extractor system are in the kitchen island with overhead lighting.Ample glasses, dinnerware and cutlery is available to avoid constantly using the integrated dishwasher.A twin sink and kettle, wide slot toaster and 2 Nespresso capsule coffee machines complete the drinks making.Full instructions on how to operate are included in by holding your camera on the mobile phone over QR codes to watch YouTube videos or reading the manual in house.Microwave and induction oven are also available.A walk in pantry and cupboards have super space for groceries. Twin fridges and small freezer will amply cope with storing all fresh food.A round 8 seater dining table with chairs is an option for inside dining.

The lounge area has a large corner sofa and stools and square glass coffee table. The 65inch Loewe tv on a swivel bracket has Fire TV to access Netflix/Prime etc... .A blu ray DVD player is also available and hundreds of DVDs are on shelves in the adjacent office.
The Home cinema sound system will give real surround and super bass to add to the thrill of films.There is also an additional DVD built into a 22 inch TV which can be placed in any bedroom perfect for kids.

All bedrooms feature comfortable beds with superior bedlinen, pillows and reading lights.All have aircon with additional ceiling fans and table fans.Windows are shaded with blackout curtains or blinds and some have additional shutters.Towels, bathmats and hairdryers are available in each of the bathrooms.All linen is changed each 7 days.

The second (and actually much larger) bedroom & bathroom is identical to the master in all aspects but also has a 2 seat sofa.

Bedroom 3 has a superking bed which can be separated into 2 singles, with 2 double fitted wardrobes with internal lighting and ample hangers.
The bathroom features a single sink and rainwater shower with handheld additional shower and a concealed mirrored bathroom cabinet for storage.

Bedroom 4 on the ground floor has a double bed . There is a large 5 drawer unit and sliding double wardrobe. A small study is available off the main living room with desk and access to high speed fibre broadband.Booster signal wifi extenders in garden and upstairs also ensure good signal coverage throughout the house and garden.No computer or printer is available for guests.

Summary
Our house is close to cafés, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket. It is in the heart of Valldemossa, although in a very silent street, with cosy little alleys and their flower pots. Easy access to public transport, and carpark is 3-4 mins walk.
Valldemossa is a perfect village for relaxing and within easy reach of Palma and other places on the Island (15mins to Palma and 25mins to the Airport).
Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families (with kids).

The Space
The house is lovingly decorated, with nice features, a mix of rustic and modern style; and there are 3 levels connected by stairs.
It has 3 Bedrooms, with comfy beds; 2 Bathrooms and a TV room. The Kitchen is very well equipped with brand new appliances, and a cosy Living Room, which gives access to the balcony and outside area, where you´ll be able to see amazing views of Serra de Tramuntana, declared World Heritage, by Unesco. The Patio is very quiet and a great place to have breakfast, lunch or a romantic dinner!

Valldemossa's temperature in Summer time can be more pleasant than Palma City's temperature. We also provide electric fans throughout the entire house and each bedroom.

In Winter, there is underfloor heating, which is set up automatically (living areas such as TV, living and dining rooms are turned on during the day, then they turn off at night, and the bedrooms will turn on). There is a portable parafin heater and a dehumidifier as well, that also work as heating.

Guest Access
For those who come with children, we provide you access to a travel cot with its mattress, sheets etc. There will also be available a box of toys that your kids can play with.
We give our guests space, but we are available when needed. We have been living in Mallorca since 2008, we can give you very good recommendations about beaches, restaurants, villages and walking treks.

Other Things to Note
There are beaches you can visit nearby, where you can swim and find some of the best seafood restaurants in Mallorca: Sóller Beach, Valldemossa Port Beach, and Cala Déia.
Frederic Chopin Piano Festival is held each year in summer. This is a series of concerts given by internationally renowned performers. A large number of people that love music and culture attend it; as well as Artdemossa, a fantastic night with concerts and art exhibitions throughout town. For updated events on Traditional Mallorquín Festivals, "La Beata", etc, please check online sites.
Spring, Autumn and Winter seasons are also very magical times to visit the village, either you can see flowers blooming throughout the enchanting little streets, watch the changing colours of leaves or visit the traditional family bakeries, where they serve up the local ‘coca de patata’ translated to ‘potato cake’, a sweet cake made with boiled potatoes to form a soft bun, commonly eaten with thick hot chocolate in winter time, a favourite amongst the locals.
Walking or hiking are ultimate things to do in all Seasons, you will find plenty of trails in Serra de Tramuntana with stunning views: Ermita de la Trinitat, S´Estaca, GR221 Son Moragues, hike from Deia to Valldemossa etc.
Cyclists also love to be located in Valldemossa, easy access to Deiá or Sóller towns. Golf Players have the Golf of Son Termes at only 10 minutes away.

The Neighbourhood Overview
The cultural and historical site The Real Cartuja (Royal Carthusian Monastery) is the focus of any visit, other places to visit include the Palace of King Sancho next to the Cartuja and the Cultural Centres, the Costa Nord and Coll Bardolet, with concerts and art exhibitions all year along. You can also visit Just Art Gallery in the main street Calle Blanquerna.
Besides, another main reason to stay in Valldemossa is to enjoy the countryside. You can admire the views from your bed or get out there and explore first hand. There are many well signed posted trails in the hills - ask at the Tourist Office Information Centre (next to the carpark) for maps.
The village itself is full of charming streets filled with cafes, great restaurants, galleries and gift shops.
It's easy enough to pick up nice cuisine in the village - try Ca'n Mario, Es Roquissar or Casa de Sa Miranda. Just outside Valldemossa there is a refined restaurant in Valldemossa Hotel.
For great fish and seafood, head to the Port de Valldemossa, Es Port restaurant - about 6 km from Valldemossa on the coast, where you can eat on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Getting Around
There is access to public transport, line 210 , which takes you to Plaza España, in Palma, or to the University of Balearic Island (UIB). The same line also travels to Deia and Soller.
Only residents are allowed to park their cars in the old town part of the village. So for everyone else there are two possibilities of car parking, which both are only 3-4 minutes walk from the house:
1) Blue zone Parking from 20:00 till 10:00 is free of charge.
2) White zone Parking is free and time is unlimited: when you come from Palma, after the only traffic light you'll see, turn first to the right (Carrer na Mas), then again to the right (Carrer Son Gual) and then left, where you can park (Carrer Ametlers).

Welcome to this lovely stone house in the charming town of Valldemossa, right in the Tramuntana mountain range. It has capacity for 6 people.
This is a unique and privileged house for those whole love the mountains, the charming villages and the sea, which is only 7 km away. At the back of the house you will find a beautiful and wild garden where you can enjoy a good reading. If you prefer the shade you can stay beneath the tree and enjoy the nice scent of the aromatic plants. The terrace is covered by vines and next to it you will find the porch with the barbecue where you can cook delicious meals. The property is fenced and since the house is within the village, there are neighbours next to.

The two-storey house has a traditional style. The living-dining room is an example of the Mallorcan style and it offers a little TV with satellite channels as well as a wood stove that you can use when it is cold. The kitchen is well equipped including a gas stove, oven and utensils to cook. The laundry room offers a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There are two bathrooms in the house, one with a shower on the ground floor and the other with a tub which is located upstairs. Regarding the bedrooms, there are three in total, all of them with a closet. There is one on the main floor and it offers twin beds. The other two are on the top floor, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. In addition, both of them offer a fan an exit to a wonderful balcony. You can practice hiking and cycling since it offers different roots to the nearby villages throughout the mountains. The city of Palma is 15 km away so you can drive there for a worth visit. The villages around also are wonderful like Banyalbufar, Deià, Esporles and Galilea. The village offers all basic services for an independent stay: supermarkets, tapas bars, restaurants and much more. - "The casa was easy to find as its right on the principle road into Valldemossa from Palma. I had read a couple of reviews saying parking outside was difficult because of the sharp entry angle and narrow gate but we had no problems. It was convenient for quickly getting back on the road and out into the mountains. The views from every window are beautiful and the terrace which faces the village with vistas of the mountainside is big. Lots of space inside too and very clean and homely. Nice high ceilings. The shower has little water pressure which was a shame, especially as all the taps were fine. I wouldn't say it impacted the stay too much but it did turn showering into more of a chore than normal. A more delicate holiday-maker than myself might feel upset by it. Checking in and out was easy and communication was good. We stayed for a week over Christmas and were gifted a bottle of wine from the hosts which was very nice. Would stay again"

The stunning exteriors of this house accompany both summer and winter. The property also features a wonderful pool of 5x3 m and 1.50 to 1.80 m deep, surrounded by lawn and a fantastic barbecue. Next to it, you will be able to enjoy an amazing evening with your family, both on the porch and on the terrace that are fully furnished.

It is a three-storey house that has been reformed with a rustic mallorcan style. On the ground floor, there is a fantastic living room which features a chimney simply perfect for watching satellite TV, the dining room is totally independent and can accommodate 12 dinner guests, the unusual kitchen with ceramic cooktop, a toilet and an independent laundry area that provides our guests with washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. Then, there are a total of six dormitories and three bathrooms. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms with wardrobe, two of which has a double bed and the other one only two twin beds. In that zone, there are some rocky beaches or small pebble beaches with crystal-clear waters that are must-do beaches. Among these beaches, we suggest you going to the next ones: Puerto de Valldemossa, Cala Deià, Port des Canonge or Llucalcari. - "We chose this for the view, which was good, but we expected the villa to be at least half decent, and it wasn't. Firstly, it's not a villa, it's a glorified pool house. Tiny, not even basic essentials in the kitchen, the kind of towels you would expect at a youth hostel in a war zone. They must have been about 15 years old. I've used sandpaper that was smoother. Wifi didn't work, the lighting/electricity keeps flickering on and off, no wood supplied for fire, no coal for the BBQ, noisy boiler. No shampoo/shower gel and the whole place smelt musty. Ok, so clearly problems with the place, this is when the service got really bad. Checked in Thursday night, we messaged on Friday morning about the issues, no response. So I rang Friday afternoon, no one answered but someone messaged to say they couldn't talk and they were just the weekend cover woman who could do absolutely nothing about the issues anyway, but someone would be back in on Monday, or actually Wednesday!!! Can you imagine, a week's holiday and someone will come back to me to start looking at my problems in 6 days time!!! We were checking out on Thursday!!! The really annoying thing is someone saw my message instantly but even knowing they would be off for 6 days, chose to do nothing about it.
