- "We were looking for a last minute get away but was nervous to select a place with no reviews. After corresponding with the bew owner, we learned we were the first which did cause unnecessary worry. Amy was responsive through the entire visit. The house was spotless and located in close proximity to St. Michaels (minutes) as well as Easton and Tighlman. They had everything you needed in the kitchen to include a s'mores station. The woodland setting is beautiful and will be even more amazing when the pond reconstruction is done. The house is perfect for a family or couples sharing a space. There are multiple places to sneak off to includind a deck with a hammock and a coveted outdoor deck where we spent most of our time. We brought our german shepards and found a dog bed, blankets, treats and bowls for the dogs. I highly recommend this rental."

Pets: One dog is allowed with prior approval from the host. Dogs must be leashed outdoors, and guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. A fee of $75 per visit applies. No other animals are permitted.
Parking: Two vehicles are permitted to park overnight.
Boat Docking: If arriving by boat, dock access is available with prior arrangement. Please coordinate with the host.
Laundry: Laundry facilities are available upon request, within reasonable limits. Please arrange with the host.

- "This is a wonderful modern small house right on the water near St. Michael's. It's a quick drive or nice bike ride to town and we even paddled to the town kayak dock in less than half an hour. The owners have done a great job updating this cabin. It's beautifully furnished and appointed, inside and out, and so close to the water you might feel like you're on a ship. We have rented dozens of homes in Talbot County over the years, and are vacation homeowners ourselves, so I can say with confidence that these owners have gone above and beyond to design a memorable experience for their guests. As a small family, we also appreciate the relative affordability of this cabin compared to many of the houses on the rental market that are bigger than what we need. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom, this house is plenty comfortable for a family of four, two couples, or four friends. We are already planning our return to Bateau Cabin."

Open Studio style room with queen size bed one side, futon open to full size will sleep 2, other side is full kitchen incl: microwave, full sz refrigerator and stove, equipped with utensils, silverware, pots, pans, dishes, cups, glasses. Beds have quilts sets, pillows (4) plenty of seating on grounds, fire pit, steam station 2 night min.

The space
Common grounds available to all guest, some cottages have 2 small private Gazebos, set up tv and microwave. Open fire pit great for marshmallows, piers great for fishing, crabbing, playground for children available. As well as a hammock for the children and adults. We have on site steamers in work shed for crabbers, and sell chicken necks in event you forget them, and with 24hr notice we can bait your trout line for you, and when you return with your catch for the day steam pots waiting for you.

Any boat returned uncleaned or not in condition as rented will be charged a $50 fee for cleaning. Same for the Cottages, if turned back over in unclean condition or not as you received the unit in there will be a cleaning bill minimum charge of $50 applied to final bill. There is a 10% tax on your bill 6% collected by ABB, the County Room Tax 4% will be collected upon arrival. Find this 3700 sf home located on an exquisite 6 acre waterfront lot. This location is perfection for any group. Just a 5 minute bike ride into Historic Downtown Saint Michaels. Enjoy the heated in-ground pool, sweeping water views, expansive landscapes, and the company you’re with!

This 3700+ square foot home is located We say “TRUE SAINT MICHAELS” because of some negative renting experiences we ourselves had prior to getting to know this unbelievably beautiful area. While renting we ended up in "pseudo-Saint Michaels"... twice. While the entire Eastern Shore is picturesque, the convenience and experience we signed up for was not delivered. So while looking for a home that our guests could enjoy to the maximum we knew we had to deliver on everything with no exception to location. With Spencer Creek Cabin- we did just that!!
The location is perfection for any group. The only way into Saint Michaels (by land) is Saint Michaels Road. About 1 mile prior to entering Historic Downtown Saint Michaels you only need to make 1 turn and welcome to paradise. We’re set back on the water, right off of the main drag, by a maturely wooded drive. There is a Graul’s grocery store across the street. It’s a superb, friendly market that should satisfy most of your vacation needs… and they sell beer and wine. There is also a gas station and a drive-through RISE UP coffee outpost. Now with all of this noted, you’re about a 5-10-minute bike ride out of Downtown Saint Michaels (depending on your peddling).
Spencer Creek Cabin is a true gem. We fell in love with the property the moment we set foot on it and we cannot wait to make family memories in the area just like many of our guests. When you enter the home, you feel accomplished. The desire to escape and enjoy life is in your possession. Welcome to Saint Michaels!
