Lottie's Cottage is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom cottage (Circa1917), providing a rural, pet friendly retreat for families. Each bedroom has a Queen bed. There are 2 single fold out beds which can be placed wherever needed. Portable baby cot and highchair available. A shared bathroom is between the bedrooms. A BBQ is available on the verandah.
Just 15 minutes from Albury, Wodonga, Australia, Lottie's is self catered with a substantial starter breakfast of our farm eggs, bacon, bread, cereals, milk , juice and our homemade strawberry and plum jams.

“StantonCottage” is in the heart of central Albury in Townsend street. This beautiful cottage is over 100 years old , in the same family for 80 years which is where the name Stanton is from,so I thought only fitting to name it after them.

Set on 4 acres, nestling in the peaceful Baranduda Range, with stunning views across the Kiewa Valley to the hills beyond, our Wee Bothy (Scottish word for cottage) offers a cosy and welcoming stay for a couple/family in a renovated former gallery. Pet-friendly, backing onto forest trails, and near Albury/Wodonga with its shops, restaurants and cinemas, as well as historical Yackandandah and Beechworth, it's a must for those who love to walk, run, bike, ski or simply explore or relax - like us!

The space
A neuk (pronouned nook) is the Scottish word for a secluded, secure corner and we think we live in a wee corner of heaven surrounded by native Australian bush - home to iconic Aussie wildlife like kangaroos, wombats and echidnas as well as birds including king parrots, blue wrens, rosellas, finches, bower birds and kookaburras.

We offer a yummy continental breakfast comprising locally sourced produce where possible. Our own freshly-laid eggs, Aussie bacon, cereals, muesli, homemade bread, along with jams and preserves. You can also look forward to enjoying freshly roasted coffee, frothy milk or a pot of your favourite tea. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Like many other BnBs, we do have an additional charge per person after the first two guests, to cover our costs. But we also understand that raising a family can be expensive business and want to keep it affordable. So, if you are bringing your little ones that are under 12, just put two guests in the booking and let me know in a message your exact numbers and their ages. That way you wont be charged.

The Wee Bothy was originally a gallery and studio for local Baranduda artist, Betty Scott. Modernised for your comfort, yet respectfully retaining its original Aussie character and quirkiness, you may also spot some wee Scottish touches that adds our own twist to its natural charm.

Animals are a HUGE part of our life - hence we welcome pets. Ensuring they have a great experience too is important to us. For those bringing a dog, we have a purpose built dog paddock (approx 600sqm) for them to run as free as they like, securely. They are also welcome elsewhere on the property, but ask they are kept under control as we have two goats and sometimes two sheep on their holidays to help keep the grass in check. :-)

A fully functional kitchen equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. A washing machine is also available.

Have we mentioned the views? They are stunning - and don't just take our word for it. And what better way to marvel the vistas and soak in the tranquility and beauty of the area, than to enjoy a drink or meal on your own outdoor table setting.

And then there are the trails - right at your back door. Baranduda Regional Park boosts walking and mountain bike tracks. As runners, mountain bikers and walkers ourselves (it's one of the reasons we bought the place) we love that we have such freedom to indulge in our passion from our back paddock. But as you will read - there are many more trails to enjoy suitable for all levels, including children, in the Albury/Wodonga and Yackandandah area. You will certainly find there is so much to do and explore that a week or two won't seem long enough!

A car is strongly advisable to enjoy the best of the area. We do have a steep drive but you are able to park directly outside the Wee Bothy. Two or more cars may require you to park at the bottom of the property.

Please note the following.

1. Little Neuk is also home to our pet goats, Boots and Storm as well as our goofy, young Beagledor dog called Finn. Please therefore keep your pets under control.

2. Children under 2 are most welcome but we ask to be wary of the steep rockery and our bouncy dog. If you would still like to bring children under 2, just get in touch.

3. Longer stays, of up to 30 days can be booked automatically. If you wish to stay longer, please get in touch.

Unfortunately due to size and configuration, our cottage has not been catered for with children in mind as it’s simply too small to set up an additional bed. An infant (-12mo) may be okay for you, but kindly note we don’t cater supplies so BYO everything (including porta-cot), and please message us so we know to provide an additional towel, or anything you might need. We do have a microwave.

Early Check-in –––
We are asked often about early check-in. As soon as our housekeeping team has the cottage ready, they will notify you. This is often before 2pm, though we cannot guarantee it.

This gorgeous, renovated, weatherboard cottage is nestled at the base of Monument Hill in a quiet, tree-lined street in Central Albury. Ideal for families, professionals or artists visiting our beautiful Border region, we welcome longer stays. Orange Tree Cottage has three bedrooms for your stay, two queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with twin beds (one a king single). Enjoy light-filled living with tranquil spaces inside and out and relax under the Orange Tree. No pets at this time.

From the moment you walk through the gate you will sense the charm of The Cottage. Located in tree lined old East Albury and built in 1937, it is one of the original homes in the street. She still has the endearing features of yesteryear, with all the modern comforts of home. Enjoy a glass of wine on the verandah, a fresh brew in the inviting living space or relax with a good book in the private courtyard.

The space
Equipped with Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, selection of books and board games. Fully equipped kitchen with Smeg coffee machine and appliances, microwave, Miele fridge and dishwasher, oven & cooktop. The property has reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout. Guests will enjoy the entire home with a private courtyard.

The master bedroom has an ensuite with walk in shower. Whereas the main bathroom includes a walk in shower, seperate bath and seperate toilet.

Portacot and high chair available, please BYO cot linen.

You will enjoy high quality French Flax linen bedding and accessories hand picked from some of my favourite local Stores.

We chose to be as energy efficient where possible, and have installed a premium Solar System with battery storage and EV charger (payment via an honesty system).

You will have full use of the single car garage (best suited to smaller cars)

About me:
I’m Chelsey, Mum of three boys, 1 little dog and wife to one grown-up boy. I have been in business in the construction industry for over 20 years. I love cooking, entertaining, and travelling but most of all I love being at home.

My hope for you is that you feel like your stay at The Cottage on Rau feels like a home away from home.
