We were not expecting any extraordinary services while we wanted to spend a week “away from it all” to recharge the batteries – and this is exactly what we got. The apartment presented on the photos looks like that in reality. It’s located in the fields what was quite exciting for the kids as they could see horses, cows etc. not moving away from the small garden in front of the building. The rooms were in a good condition and there was enough space for a family like us (4). Kitchen equipment was also good. The only issue in the apartment was the hot water that took us a while to figure out how to get it hot enough and with the right pressure. Getting to the beach or restaurants is quite a walk, but this perfectly meets the “no hurry” atmosphere of El Palmar. The beach is excellent but I would advise everyone not only to visit the one in El Palmar but to go to some other beaches around as well. The booking process was smooth and with no problems same as the pickup done by the owner. He doesn’t speak English so the communication was a bit challenging but with help of internet and online translators we managed that :) If we needed anything the owner was around and very helpful. I would recommend staying in the apartment. It’s worth the money you pay. We brought home great memories about the apartment, El Palmar and the whole area. Definitely would like to come back once in the future. "

Cozy one bedroom house located on a plot of 300m. and after being two years rented continuously we return with bathroom and terrace recently renovated. It has a small kitchen, bathroom with bathtub and all the details, living room and on the upper floor, which is accessed by a spiral staircase, is the double bedroom. The outdoor terrace is glazed with windows to enjoy both winter and summer. Renovated in typical Andalusian style with wood beams and hydraulic floor, they will feel like they were once with all the luxury and comfort of the 21st century. The double bed is located under a window adapted in the ceiling through which you can see the starry sky of the Palmareñas nights while slowly sleeping while listening to the roar of the sea. When the roosters and the breaking of the morning waves wake them up, they will be able to see from their glazed headboard the coast and the dazzling shine that characterizes the Costa de la Luz. It has another table with chairs next to the pond where breakfast is enjoyed in the best location of the land, which is the best time of day to enjoy it. Between the terrace and the bed is the pond with fish and frogs in which the sound of the water will make you relax completely and complete the desired relaxation cycle on your vacation.

Newly opened E'Al-Zocaire 'to taste fresh and selected tapas on an unbeatable terrace. For the liveliest is the Cortijo 'El Cartero' where they provide concerts on some designated days and drinks on the beach line or an endless supply of beach bars and pubs.

Routes: In La Breña there is a pine forest where there are hiking trails and the well-known Trafalgar lighthouse, worth knowing and admiring the incredible views that can be seen from its small hill.

El Palmar is a small coastal village, in the heart of Andalusia where flamenco, bull fighting and tuna fishing are still very much part of everyday life. Best known for its stunning beach, surfing and beautiful surrounding countryside El Palmar is perfectly situated to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday and/or a sightseeing tour of such places as Cape Trafalgar, Vejer de la Frontera, Cadiz, Jerez and much more. El Palmar has 3 small supermarkets, a chemist, 2 butchers, tobacconist and surf shop. El Palmar has numerous bars and restaurants and the height of summer a few 'chiringuitos' thatched beach bars on the sand. 7 km up the road is the coastal town of Conil de Frontera with many more larger supermarkets.
