Rustic, country house, lined with wood with mountain and pool views. Terrace, access to the outside kitchen, barbecue and wood oven where we can make bread, pizza and traditional Portuguese cakes. For children's enjoyment there is a trampoline, a toy house and a tree house. There is also the possibility of camping if you wish. The space is all fenced without any dangers for children.
This space is of very recent construction, it has 3 closed rooms and an open space with place for 5 people. One bedroom with a king size bed for 3 people, another bedroom with a double bed for 2 people and a third bedroom with bunk beds for 3 people. In the open space, there is a double bed for 2 people, a sofa bed for 2 people and a single sofa. Still in this space there is a small kitchen all equipped, however the cooking of the food of this space is made in the outdoor kitchen. O
Very quiet overlooking the castle of Ourém. Possibility of cooking. The house is very cozy and is suitable for large families or groups of friends. The attic house is very well located now see: It is in the historical center of Ourém, with several buildings from the XV century to visit such as: castle, gothic fountain, church. The town of Ourém with a weekly market on Thursdays, banks, health center, shops, supermarkets is a 5 minute drive away! It has 15km to the city of Tomar, 10 minutes, the largest deposit of footprints of dinosaurs with about 30 thousand footprints. The beaches are a 40-minute drive away and Fatima is 10 minutes away. The motorway to Lisbon is very close. If you want to have a quiet holiday in the middle of nature come to the attic house and enjoy here also the excellent local cuisine. We cook with you, we are waiting for you!
We also have bicycles for walks in the countryside and if need we do guided tours. We also offer baby sitter service.

The space
We have my husband and I designed and designed the house at our wedding, to live and welcome our daughters, who arrived later. Life took us on a journey and lived in different areas. But this is always where we come to recharge our batteries. For me and my family it is our place to anchor. Our house is very spacious and open. The kitchen, although separate from the dining room and the living room, allows you an overview through a very pretty interior window, which always allows communication between the different spaces. The bedrooms are big and very bright and offers beautiful storage spaces. You access directly to the balcony of the parents' room, living room, dining room and kitchen. Outside, the scenery is beautiful. Watching sunrise when you get out of your room is a great sight!
For everyday use, you have the village grocery store 5/10 min walk where you will find everything you need. You are also 1.5 km from Espite or Memória where you can arrive on foot and enjoy a good tight coffee and fresh orange juice. You can also eat there.

Other things to note
Our house is in the countryside. You can also and in a fairly fluid way visit the beautiful cities around, rich in heritage, history and gastronomy. About 20 minutes drive you arrive to Leiria, Ourém, Santuaire de Fatima, Pombal. You are 20 min drive also from a very nice natural site; natural pool (Agroal) of very refreshing crystal water when it is hot. It would have therapeutic properties for certain skin problems. You can take very nice walks in the forest that surrounds it.
A little further, at 40 minutes you reach the beautiful Coimbra which houses a remarkable historical and natural heritage; Idem for Tomar, Batalha, Alcobaça, Caldas da Rainha, Obidos, Vila de Rei, etc.
Also 40 minutes from the coast, where you will discover beaches that decode; beautiful and strongly iodized! Old beach of São Pedro (my favorite), Vieira, Paredes, Osso da Baleia, Nazaré, Sao Martinho do Porto etc.
You are 140 km from Lisbon and 180 from Porto.
Very good network of roads and highways, you reach the highway or highway 20 km from the house, In Fatima you have the A1 (Lisbon Porto) and IC9 (Tomar Nazaré). In Leiria you also reach the A1, and the A8 which leads you to Lisbon(1h30) by the coast and gives you very quick access to all the beaches along the coast.
