Food was extremely over priced. The bathrooms were very gross. Self flush toilets gross tolit water on thr floor. No toliet paper or bidet to rince or wash with. I used my hand at one point. The showers were outside with no privacy at all. The tent was to hot an the cabins were 6 times the price of rent. For only a week. Witch was kind of ridiculous considering the lack of Accommodations. But that all said i had fun. Theres kyakes to rent we payed the owner 3,000 pacos. To take us on a boat ride we took the most amazing pictures an videos. An the owners family works really hard to make this place run. I payed for a 7 days but only stayed 3. But it was a fun 3 days. If they put more money into the up keep. I would of given this a better review. The place is really beautiful though just very over-priced for what it is. "

Other things to note
There is a succulent garden within the property. Short stairway to the suite is a bit steep and not recommended for seniors and small children (but there is a day bed on the 1st floor that can be used and is very accessible). There is also a short uphill walk from our place to the guard house (Tagaytay-Calamba Highway).

We have upgraded the suite with Chromecast. Aside from Netflix, we also have Disney+, Amazon Prime TV, Discovery+, HBO Go and YouTube Premium.

- "Just left the Santander Beach House 3 days ago and we didn’t want to leave. My family of 8 stayed at this Beach house and were very well pleased with the accommodations and quick response from both owner and caretakers. The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of this place. It was very relaxing and better than expected. Our only regret is not having the time to stay longer. The beach itself in front of the house may not be ideal for little children who are intended to be left unattended as it is very rocky. We had 2 teenagers so it wasn’t a problem and they had a blast snorkeling as the coral reef and dive spots were directly in front of the house. The house has 2 master suites on the main floor and a bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and two twin beds. All bedrooms have air conditioners that worked very well, a washing machine and a well stocked water dispenser in the full kitchen. The internet as expected in the Philippines was slow, but they provided it. We were very impressed with the build and location of this beach house. I specially love the tiles in the bathrooms and mahogany floors and the beautiful front porch with an amazing view of the beach and island across it. The sister of the owner is the caretaker and she was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. All 8 of us were very happy with our stay here. Hoping to come back again soon. Cottages are in octagonal shape. Your room will be on the second floor. It has double bunk bed in the middle and single bunk beds on the side. This room will be private for you and for your family. We have a bar and restaurant on site, we serve freshly made meals from local delicacies to international, we also have vegetarian menu!

Ice cold beer and other cocktails available. We try to provide everything. Please respect the nature and our house rules. We have planted corals in the enclosed area of the lagoon, at the moment there are plenty of living creatures inside, so please do not harm there. There is a huge swimming area for you. Floaters are available and an aluminum boat you can paddle around.

There is no internet on site,it's a perfect place to relax, gather with friends and families, no disturbance. Just you and the nature.

For our location, we are in Bucas Grande Island near Sohoton Cove. The nearest airports either Surigao city (mainland ) or Siargao airport. From Siargao airport there are vans that can take you to Dapa fishing port to Socorro port. Socorro port is our main port of Bucas Grande. It takes 1 hour ferry schedules are 7:15am, 8:30am, 10:30am 2:30pm and 3:30pm. From Socorro there are no commute to get to our place, you must hire a private boat in Socorro and it costs 1,500php or 30 usd per way to get to the resort. The boat is big and capacity is about 10 persons. Rate for the boat applies from 1 or 10 persons. It takes about 40 minutes to get to us. I can help you arrange one if you wish to.

If you are coming from Cebu City there is an overnight ferry to Surigao city. It will arrive at 4am and just outside, ask the security guards if where is the port going to Socorro ferries. There's a ferry that leaves at 5am to Socorro and it takes about 2-3 hours ferry. From Socorro we can arrange your boat or you can arrange your own. Another way is from Surigao city go to bus or van terminal. Look for sign of the busses/vans that will go "Hayanggabon port" It takes about 1.5 hours drive- 2 hours commute. From Hayanggabon port we are 40 minutes away, You can hire a boat there or we can arrange for you same rate as above (30USD)

Bat Tree Cottages is located in Agoho, just a few steps from Agoho Beach and 1.6 miles from White Island Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi. Breathe in the natural sea breeze and enjoy our 3-bedroom rustic beachfront house. Nestled in a quiet part of Batangas, this stay will help you rejuvenate & be one with nature. Our expanded porch facing the beach will give you front seats to the ever majestic sunset of Batangas.

Go swimming, crabbing, kayaking and paddle boarding in our "private" shoreline. You can buy or pre order catch of the day seafood from our caretaker.

The space
Our rustic Beach House has 3 bedrooms. All 3 are air-conditioned. The Ground Floor bedroom has 2 bunk beds that can sleep 4 pax. The Master Bedroom on the 2nd floor has a queen bed that can sleep 2 pax and has its own ensuite toilet & bath. 3rd bedroom on the 2nd floor has 2 bunk beds and a sofa bed that can sleep up to 6 pax.
There is an extra sleeping space in the living room that has a day bed with pullout (sleeps 2 pax) but it's not air-conditioned.
If there's more than 14 persons staying, you need to book the entire property including the Pool Villa, which can sleep an additional 15-16 pax.

Guest access
Beach House guests may only access its amenities and facilities and cannot use any part of the Pool Villa, especially its swimming pool.

Other things to note
note that our beachfront has low tide within the day, but not the whole day. You can enjoy the pool, kayak and/or paddle board when it's low tide, but sometimes tide is very low and our seafront becomes not swimmable. There is a breakwater that makes our waterfront safe for small kids.
Our location may experience occasional power outages (brownouts). These outages are beyond our control. Guests should be prepared for potential temporary loss of electricity
