- "The resort itself was beautiful and the hotel has excellent facilities; however, unfortunately the Reception staff are not very welcoming and it is difficult to get a hold of anyone by phone or email. We emailed the hotel to arrange pick up from the bus terminal. After a few days we had still not received any response so we emailed again. The hotel did not respond to either of our emails. I phoned the hotel the day before I was due to check in to try again to arrange pick up and complained about not receiving an email response to which the Receptionist insisted that they had emailed back and then hung up on me. Also they could have been more helpful in arranging a tour of the underground river when their tour operator was fully booked by informing us that we could have arranged for it ourselves even after we told them that this was the reason that we came to Palawan. However, the rest of the staff we experienced were very attentive and helpful."

Quest Villa is actually 2 separate buildings. We stayed in the deluxe villas which is across the street from the main resort building. There are 4 villas built in one block and the building is quite new so looks great. There is a nice swimming pool and the area is very quiet with a locked gate for security. The room was nice and large and felt very homely. The main bedroom is upstairs and another bed is downstairs. There was a nice couch and tv area for relaxing. You can get breakfast in other building or you can cook your own as there is a full kitchen in the room. They don't serve lunch or dinner. There are at least 30 restaurants within 10 mins. They also provided us with the airport transfers which was helpful. The airport is just 5 minutes away so very close. They helped us to arrange a rental car as well and can book excursions as well. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again for the peace and tranquility. "

Cooking stove we had has 1 burner working, the other is useless :( That was time consuming working on a single burner. Door knobs are defective, aircon units are outmodeled (you can hear it working at nighttime) and the other acu in 1 room leaks. Bulb in 1 CR was busted. As for toiletries, shampoos and bath soaps are the only ones provided. No toothpaste and toothbrush which are so cheap I wonder why they cant provide. Having no intercom, you have to go to the front desk to inquire or address concerns. We even asked why there are no towels provided. That was the only time they gave us towels. Overall, stay was OK."

- "Fight Club Philippines is the newest, upcoming center to train and to relax. It is nestled in the secluded mountains just north of Puerto Princesa. Beyond the training, the resort is well manicured, an excellent restaurant, infinity pool, games room, and massage facilities. If you've been to the island of Palawan, you'll know that there are rolling black outs and internet connectivity issues. BUT NOT AT FIGHT CLUB PHILIPPINES. The facility has it's own power generator and Starlink internet. I've been able to get some computer work done in between training sessions. About the training, you'll have access to all equipment and be trained in boxing, kick boxing, and jujitsu. I am a beginner to these sports and the trainers were so great to cater to my skill. And not to forget about the friendly and accommodating staff members, always ready to get you what you need. In my opinion, it's great place to bring a group of like-minded friends to up your skill or to get some exercise on vacation."
