- "The staff was very nice and helpful. If you opt for breakfast you get vouchers for the cafe next door. Good cafe breakfasts, mostly silog options but they do offer American options. They also serve good coffee. The area is tucked away down a side street from the main road Osmeña and everything you might need is in walking distance. Good value and good stay overall. My only drawback is there were carpenter ants when we checked in but the staff took care of that right away. Also, we had to ask for toilet paper a couple times and at night the noise travels to the room, we stayed during Sinulog festival so it did get noisy in the evenings."

One doesn't get to find a lot of Backpackers, hostels and home stays in the Philippines just yet. It's still an unheard of place to stay the night. So, booking in one and experiencing what I experienced when staying in hostels in other countries can be truly refreshing. I just hope the owner gives their exact location when going there on foot, like where to get off from the bus, mrt, jeep, etc., which way to turn to, how many minutes, from the station or landmarks, etc. And oh, the toilet should be stacked with tissue papers, otherwise give your guests a roll as soon as they check in. But on the whole, this is value for your money, and would highly recommend it."
